《How I Accidentally Started A Harem In Another World》Chapter 8

"I'm very sorry."
The old man bowed his head before me. We were high up in a sea of clouds, yet we were sat down on a small square of tatami mats amidst it all. There was no roof or walls, except it was furnished with a small tea table.
The old man in front of me claimed to be The God of space and time called Izor.
He tells me that he was distracted whilst repairing the space-time wall, which led my soul to slip through the hole accidentally.
I remembered that after the meeting with Lilliana and Rolph, we all went to sleep in our rooms.
"Oh, I'm dreaming?"
"I can guarantee you that this is not a dream."
"This is not a dream? WAIT! YOU CAN READ MY MIND!?"
"Hoho, what a reaction. Yes, I can read your mind."
"Is there no privacy laws around here?"
"Of course not. This place is the divine realm, and, specifically, this is my realm. But don't worry, I won't read your mind too much."
For some reason, I became defensive about reading my mind, not that I had anything to hide, just that it creeped me out a bit.
"Oi, that still counts as an invasion of privacy."
"Hoho, you're an entertaining one."
"I'm glad someone is happy, but anyways am I going to be taken back to Earth or something?"
"Frankly, no, it is a lot of work, so I've discussed with the Gods from both worlds, and they both allowed you to stay here."
"Really?."
"Yes. I've also been permitted to grant you some benefits to make it up to you for my mistake."
"Really? Thanks."
"Hoho, you're very welcome. Now, first of all, it would seem like that [Creation] skill of yours is incomplete."

"Incomplete?"
"Yes, did you not notice that when you have levelled up, you didn't unlock anything new?"
"That's true."
"Well, I'll be taking it away, but instead, I'll give you a new skill called [Exchange]. It works similarly to [Creation], using Skill points to exchange for items. You can unlock more items without levelling up or blueprints. Also, you can earn Skill Points by destroying monster cores."
"That's very helpful."
"Yes, however, you are also able to exchange for items from your old world, so there is a list of items that are banned. You do understand what I am talking about."
I had an idea of what he was talking about—weapons of mass destruction. Bringing advanced Earth weaponry to a world that has swords and magic would cause many significant problems.
"But of course, if you were to develop it by your own hands, then we can not stop you."
"Understood."
Izor explained that Gods have a rule of not interfering with the world except in situations like a Demon King or something that would destroy the civilisation they would occasionally help out.
I asked about the Gods from my old world and found that they were all very lazy and left the inhabitants to develop themselves.
"Now, onto the next thing, I will also give you some new abilities as well."
>>
"Good, you have got them. Now let me explain. [Radar] can show foes, friendlies and people of interest. It should prevent surprises attacks. [Appraisal] gives you information about a target. Next is [Warp Points]; you can place these points and teleport to them from wherever."
"Wow, thank you for all this."
"Not at all; this is the least I could do for causing such a mistake. Ah, so that you know that those were just my gifts, you still have a present from the other Gods."

"Wait, seriously?"
"Hoho, think of these as a welcome package from them," says Izor as he waves his hand, and an A6 sized sheet of paper appears and floats into my hand.
"That is a Random Skill Tickets. It will give you a random skill that is suitable with your current skills." Izor explained.
I was so excited to get more skills that I couldn't refrain from smiling with joy. From being transported to another world, meeting a God, and getting ridiculously powerful skills, I am like a protagonist from an isekai novel.
"Ah, I do need to remind you that if your use of these skills affects the balance of the world or something along those lines, the Gods here have the power to take you and those skills away."
"I understand, and I promise I will not misuse my powers."
"Good, I've looked into your personality, and I safely believe that you are the type that does not break promises."
"Thank you for trusting me."
"Now, is there anything else you want to ask?"
"Yes, I want to know if there are people from my world here?"
"Hmmm, let me see...Ah yes, there are currently three people who were summoned from your old world. Unfortunately, it's not within my jurisdiction to tell you their names or location."
"I understand, but thanks anyway."
"Great, I will send you back now. Until next time." Izor saw me off with a smile, and I fell back into darkness.

After Masato had left, Izor was alone in his divine realm, or so he should've been.
"Come on out, I know you were watching," said Izor.
A young woman with long dark purple hair and a voluptuous body appears and sits down before Izor.
"So that's the boy?"
"Yeah, that's the boy. What did you want, Nara?"
"Oh nothing, I sensed a familiar presence, but I was wrong, right?" asked Nara as she took a sip of tea.
"..."
"Judging by that silence, I wasn't wrong, and I guess you didn't tell him?"
"No, I didn't. For now, there is no need, but when the time comes, I will."
"Fufu, this is going to get interesting. I hope it doesn't happen this time."
"Neither do I."
"Well, I better get going. Estia woke up recently, and I need to teach her the basics again."
"Ah well, good luck."
"Thanks, do keep me updated on the boy," says Nara as she disappears, and Izor was once alone in his realm.
