A comedy chapter I made on one of my free time back in the day. This chapter is there to make fun of the characters in the story. Its better to bring your sense of humor along when you read this~

Chapter 00: Dem Balls~

Hi there. My name is Keisuke or Kei for short. I am a young man at the age of 19 and the protagonist of this story. I moved to this place around 8 years ago as I was involve in a big accident on my past hometown which resulted in me having a partial memory lost. The only thing I remember back then is that I'm playing in the mountains with a little girl. Who she is, or what she is to me, I do not know. Whenever I tried to recall that incident, my head starts hurting. I live with my dad which is currently out of town right now because of his job. Seriously, he just left me a note one morning saying that he'll be out of town for who knows how long and will just send me some allowance every month for my everyday needs. But in all honesty, living alone in this big house isn't all too bad as I like peace very much.

-sound of doorbell ringing-

I went to the door to see who it is and as expected...

" Good morning Keisuke~ Did you eat breakfast already? "

As expected, its Reina.

" Ah no, I actually just woke up a few minutes ago and was thinking of cooking some instant ramen. "

" Oh Keisuke is being shy again, I told you, I'll take care of your 3 meals. Hold on a second, let me see what I could make for you. "

This beautiful nagging person is my childhood friend Reina. He also lives next door and has been always taking care of my daily needs. His feminine traits are so strong that you would think he's a girl but I wouldn't be fooled.

An Elephant...

That thing has been burned on my mind ever since I met him 8 years ago. He's always been physically weak and always require me constantly saving him whether being bullied or being chased by dogs. I guess that's probably one of the reason why he's so attached to me right now. Not that I mind you know. I'm actually quite happy but there's the problem you see.

That slender body, perfectly smooth white skin and to add how he's tying his long hair up exposing the nape of his neck is so god damn sexy. Everything is perfect except for the fact that he is a boy. Ah, the worries of a young man.

" Kei? Keisuke?? is something wrong with my face? You've been staring at my face for quite some time now.. "

His face is so close that I can feel his breath and he smells so good.

" What the hell are you doing!!! "

I panicked and fell from my chair.

Think dirty thoughts!!! Think dirty thoughts!!! Come on Keisuke, don't be swayed!!!

" Keisuke is so clumsy as usual. Anyways, breakfast is ready~ "

Does this guy really have no idea on what I'm going through right now? Or does he simply enjoy seeing my reactions? I grumpily took my bowl of food. I ate my breakfast while stealing glances at Reina who is just happily smiling at me while I'm eating.

" Aren't you going to eat? "

" I'm fine with just watching you eat~ "

I finished eating breakfast and Reina cleaned the table for me due to his reasoning that it is his duty to clean up after me. Without Reina, I'm not sure what I would be eating everyday if not instant food. But despite being perfect in all aspects, there lies a problem. And that problem is that he, he's, he's a boy!!!! Which adds to my troubles for I am a very normal young man who wants to go on dates with a real cute girl. Going on picnics, watching movies on weekends together, going home together and eventually doing erotic stuff!! That is my dream!!

" Idiot. "

" Hmm? Did you say something? "

He didn't answered me back and just continue with what he was doing. It was faint but I felt like he said something which I decided not to inquire further because I don't think its that important.

After he prepared my lunch, he hurriedly left the house as he was suppose to help his mom in her workplace today. How did he even find time for me, I just don't know.

" I'm not sure if I'll be home in time for dinner but I'll give you a call if something comes up. "

I just noticed he was a little gloomy all of a sudden. I couldn't take it off my mind so I chase after him outside.

" Your food taste good as usual!!! "

He showed me a pretty smile. A smile that is full of happiness.

I started blushing without realizing it and I went back inside my house to hide my embarrassment.

" Its still pretty early but I'm already tired. I guess I'll take a quick nap "

I lay on my couch and just simply close my eyes. It didn't take that long till I was able to sleep.

Crying? Someone's crying?

Where are you?

" Nii, nii-sama, Onii-sama! "

Me? Onii-sama? What?

- loud noise hitting the floor -

" Ouch ouch. What the hell was that? A dream? "

I stretched my body and look at my phone to check the time. Holy hell! Its already late afternoon. Another thing that bothered me is that I seem to have gotten 15 miss calls from an unknown phone number.

" Unknown phone number... Was it dad perhaps?

- sound of doorbell ringing -

" It seems like Reina's back already. "

I hurriedly opened the door to greet him and to my surprise...

" Keisuke right? "

But that voice... Where have I heard it before? As I was trying to remember, my head started hurting. I accidentally drop my phone and because of its fall, it accidentally dialed the weird number that I'm looking into.

" I'm sorry for not introducing myself properly. I'm Erin, we used to play a lot of times back in the day. Do you not remember? "

" Erin?? For some reason that name sounds so familiar. "

I felt nostalgic. I'm having such mix feelings right now I do not know how to explain it.

" Umm, Keisuke, I have a letter from your father, regarding my visit today. Everything is explained here. "

She handed me a small letter which supposedly came from my dad. I knew it. That guy had a hand in this. I opened the letter and read the contents.

" To My Dear Keisuke,

How are you liking your summer vacation so far? I'm sorry I haven't been home this past few days due to my work. I recently just made contact to a friend of mine and remember their daughter Erin? You guys played a lot back when we used to live over there. She insisted on seeing you and I figured I would send her over there so you guys could catch up to each other and she might even help you out with your memory loss. What do you think? Its only going to be this summer vacation. Have fun~

I invited her inside the house and there we drink tea and we discuss on how we should be living this summer. She decided to use the bath right away and I started to prepare a separate room for her.

" Keisuke, I don't think I can make it in time for dinner after all. I'll be staying at my mom's workplace tonight. See you tomorrow neh? "

Yes! The final obstacle is gone! Is this what you call fate?! Weird smile have entered my face and I decided to come check on her.

" Oh Keisuke, I'm already done taking a shower. Why don't you use it right away? "

I went to take a bath and calm myself before I do anything wrong. After all it wouldn't be right if I just suddenly jump on her like a dog in heat.

" Feels good~ "

I finished taking a bath and right before I was done putting my clothes on, I was entice by the beautiful aroma coming from the kitchen. I went outside to check what it is and saw Erin preparing dinner. She's good. Ever since Reina have started cooking for me everyday, I've been able to tell if a cook is good or not simply by how they prepare it even though I am not very good at cooking myself.

" I'm sorry for suddenly using your kitchen, I figured, I would cook for you since your being kind enough to let me stay. So just hold on for little bit because food is almost ready okay? "

Cute, caring, and a good cook. She's quite the woman, I think I've fallen for her quite a bit already. I sat down and found the food that Reina cooked for me this morning. I remembered how he always takes care of me so I figured I wouldn't let his efforts go to waste. Even though its cold, its still very good. He probably thought ahead that I will forget to eat it around lunch and made a food that will taste good when its left after some time.

" Food's ready~ Go ahead and help yourself and please don't hesitate to ask for more~ "

We started eating dinner peacefully while I tried to make a few jokes to keep us entertained. It never really cross my mind as to why she wanted to be with me. Based on my dad's letter she was the one who insisted on coming here. Does that mean she likes me? Man I must be quite the pimp when I was a kid. I wish I could remember what I did back then. Now that I say it, she didn't mentioned anything about that time yet. Should I try asking?

" So, I'm really sorry for asking this but what is our relationship before I lost my memory? No matter how hard I try to remember nothing seems to come back. All I could remember is that I'm playing with a girl in the mountains. Other than that, I have no other recollection. "

" So it seems, that little girl that you were playing with, that was me. I want to tell you the truth about what happened but at the same time, I want you to remember yourself. So please understand. Its not because I wanted to hide something from you. "

I stop at asking questions just to avoid having a bad atmosphere in front of our food. I'm really curious, what really happened 8 years ago enough to make me lose my memory?

We finish eating and after cleaning up she decided to unpack and even though I offered my help, she refused. Was there something inside that she does not want me to see? I head to my room and just stared at the ceiling.

I was awoken by a voice that I'm so familiar with. It wasn't a dream this time.

" Its already this late, I must be really tired today, for me to sleep in twice. "

??? To my surprise. The one who calls me oniisama is right beside me sleeping peacefully.
