Scions are people of nobility which through giving an oath or vow tread the path of adventure. With their comfortable background, all paths are open to them. Whether they are going to become a warrior, a powerful mage or a shadow rogue.
It has now been two weeks since the trail of Be'ial'ale became hot again in the city of Resildur after the incidence at the aptitude test fair. In the corner booth of the local adventurers guild in the merchants district sit a man with golden eyes wearing a shining set of armor in deep thought.
The smell of leather and sweat is overwhelming in the guild and the loud chatter does not the man pay any heed to. He just sits there leaning over a heavily ornate book with a contemplating look.
"...but how?" Says the man as he have his one free hand touching the book.
On the left page is an artists rendition of Be'ial'ale meanwhile on the other side are all collected clues about her whereabouts and known information. Right now is the man pointing his finger at the area where a certain word is written: "Trainer"
It takes a few seconds and he then sighs and looks up at the crowd in the guild.
"Makes me envious." Grumbles he to himself until he catches a familiar sight at the entrance. A female looking mage in a matching set of high end armor walks towards him and hails him.

"Lance, why do you still chase after this Be'ial'ale monster?" Says the woman as she sits next to him in the booth. She leans on her arm as she looks into his eyes. Lance scoffs before he talks.
"I can't let this monster become a variable again in the upcoming raid." He then points at the "Trainer" word again at the book before he continues talking. "Dark magic trainer NPC. Last seen with Be'ial'ale before the monster disappeared again."
The woman starts giggling while Lance is not amused at all. She then grabs Lance by his arm.
"Oh you are really going there again? Everyone knows that the NPCs can't act outside their scripted interactions. Anything lifelike you see is just an illusion.
You are either becoming senile or you truly think this game is real life." Lance gives her the stink eye and takes off her hand from him.
"Mystia you are truly stupid! Ironic that you picked wizard as your starting class.
If we do not take care of this Be'ial'ale monster now, it will to come bite us in the ass later! This abnormal NPC does not make any rational sense!" Lance slams down his fist at the table while looking dead serious into the eyes of Mystia.
"Take a chill pill Lance." Mystia rolls her eyes as she responds to Lance's accusations.
"Don't say you did not notice the status effect we got as that monster entered the throne room!?
Nemesis of Heroes title, nullified our blessings!
Supreme Evil's Daughter title, does not make any sense. Why? Because the game never said that the last raid boss had a daughter!" Lance did not cool down at all and just continued his verbal barrage at Mystia. She just looked at him as if he was drooling idiot.

"Why are you like this? Do you hate surprises? The games do not have to advertise every little thing.
Also I am getting sick of you insulting me. I don't have to take your shit." Says Mystia before leaving the table in a huff. Lance do not look amused at all as his attention is put towards the book again.
"I wonder why those idiots attacked the monster without contacting me first? I could had killed that monster in one blow!" He grits his teeth as he talks to himself. Lance then smiles.
"At least they died and was forced to respawn. Not to mention clearing their names after attacking a citizen unprovoked."
Lance goes into deep thought again until a potential lead finally comes to mind. He looks up at the ceiling as if a great revelation was just made.
"That Terion boy seemed awfully friendly with Be'ial'ale according to them..." Lance closes the book and puts it in his inventory before heading outside.
"...it's not Sunday, but it will do." Says Lance while making a evil grin.
