“I’m sorry. I got caught up in a mission outside of the sect and could only make it back just recently.”

“Brother Cain, you can’t ever do something like that again in the future without informing me!”

“Don’t worry, I’ll definitely tell you beforehand next time.”

Cain and Miren eventually split apart, mainly because the librarian was starting to glare at them, as if telling them to take this somewhere else. Cain headed back home after catching up with Miren, he had a lot to do. It was time to go into training overdrive mode, he needed power to save Oldman Belmon and he had an idea of what to do. The sects would start enrolling soon, hence he would send out Niel, Minos, and Cyprise to apply to join the other sects. They won't have to compete with each other, and since they are linked, as each one of them gets stronger, the entire group gets stronger. Cain summoned the three of them and looked at them seriously.

“Alright, I’m about to give you guys a chance at freedom. However you must act seriously, I don’t want any of you to fool around. The sects are about to start recruiting, so this is your best chance to get a spot. Niel, you’ll head to the Giant Champion Sect, they specialize in strength, hence you’ll do best there.”

“Yes Origin!”

“Minos, you’re going to head to the Diamond Form Sect, they focus on vitality, so you’ll be a perfect match”

“Aww, but I wanna go out and play some more…”

“You can play in the Diamond Form Sect as long as you also train…”

“Alright Origin. Your wish is my command”

“And you Cyprise, the Temporal Shift Sect demand speed above all else. In fact their saying is “Speed is the only thing that's undefeatable.” With your agility, it’ll be no problem for you to stand out.”

“Can I also steal some stuff while I’m there?”

“Only if you don’t plan on ever getting caught.”

“Heh, no worries. I’ve never been caught in the past, and I don’t plan on ruining my track record”

“Alright, the three of you can head out. We can communicate via telepathy, so just send me a message if you are ever in trouble.”

“What are you worrying about Origin, we can’t even die. We have to be worried about you instead”

“Don’t worry about me. I’m not stupid enough to get myself into a scenario I can’t handle.”

Cain had flashbacks the moment he said that and realized it wasn’t exactly true. These guys didn’t know that though, and he didn’t plan on ruining his good reputation as the origin.

“Alright, you three disperse”

Minos suddenly held up his hand, like a child wanting to have his question answered during class.

“What is it Minos?”

“Where exactly are these sects?”

“Figure it out...”

Next Cyprise started wagging his hand in the air

“Yes Cyprise?”

“What time does the recruitment start?”

“Figure it out…”

Cain looked around the room and noticed Niel seemed a little dissatisfied.

“What's wrong Niel, you look unhappy?”

“Origin, I would like to ask a question as well!”

“Go ahead…”

“Can we kill during the recruitment test?”

“...”

Cain kicked them out of the house and slammed the door. They were on their own now...
