Cain had been so overwhelmed with all this new information that he nearly forgot about Oldman Belmon. He quickly picked up the small soul and looked at it. Oldman Belmon was in a very poor condition right now. His soul was thin as if a single strong blow would extinguish him. Cain’s eyes went red looking at this, on the verge of tears. The only reason Oldman Belmon was in this condition was because he gave Cain’s spear a strong boost in the final moments, using up a lot of his strength. Cain felt extremely guilty because of this, unfortunately he could currently do nothing about it. All he could do was store away Oldman Belmon’s soul in a safe spot before figuring things out in the future. Cain got out of the cave, Niel, Minos, and Cyprise following behind him.

“You guys will have to hide in my body for now. The place I’m going won’t allow strangers in”

“Aww, but I want to see the world. There are definitely plenty of beauties for me to romance, and new songs for me to learn!”

Minos said passionately.

“Minos is right, how can we just stay inside your boring body. I want to go out and steal something valuable, heh. The security in this world is probably way better than my past one, and I’ve been looking for new challenges”

Cyprise stated with a sly grin on his face.

“Hmph, both of you are fools. We just need to rule the entire world, that way both the beauties and treasures will come to us naturally.”

Spoke Niel, with a face filled with desire to conquer.

“Who are you calling a fool, you big buffoon. I bet I could steal your underwear without you even noticing”

“I dare you to try”

“Guys, guys, why must we argue? Here, let me sing a song that will surely help us get along!”

Cain suddenly felt like the samsara gene wasn’t all that it was hyped up to be. First Oldman Belmon had annoyed him, and now he had these three idiots. Truly lots of things changed over time, but some things always stayed the same.

“Can you three shut up for just a second please. You can fulfill your desires in the future, but for now you’ll have to stay quiet”

The three ultimately conceded to Cain’s request, flooding back into his body. However they were now arguing in Cain’s head instead. He knew it wouldn’t be long before he went insane at this rate. Eventually he managed to have them stop talking, giving himself a moment of peace. He then started heading back towards the sect. Soon enough, he reached. He quickly found his house before slumping onto his bed, exhausted. He snoozed off and ended up sleeping for a few days. All in all, the time he spent in a coma was about a week, so not much had happened in the sect. Once he had all the sleep he needed, he headed towards the sects hospital. However he bumped into Lefric and them on his way there.

“What happened to you Cain?”

Lefric spoke with concern

“Its fine, I just got in a fight outside of the sect”

“Must have been one hell of a fight”

“It was, I had to use all my strength before I could get those three idiots to leave me alone.”

“Three idiots?”

Naturally Lefric didn’t understand Cain’s joke. Cain was in poor condition so he quickly said his goodbyes before arriving at the hospital. As the 10th ranked disciple in the outer sect, he received much greater treatment, and could get his wounds checked out immediately. The doctor quickly arrived and gave him medical care. Cain was in and out in half an hour, and felt a lot better. Healing elixirs were good, but for wounds as severe as the ones Cain had, getting real medical help would be best. Cain decided to head to the genetic research lab. He hadn’t seen Miren in a long time and missed her. Reaching the lab, he headed straight for the second floor, and there he saw Miren in her usual spot.

“Brother Cain, you disappeared for so long. I was worried sick”

Miren spoke with red eyes. Cain felt extremely bad seeing her like this, so he quickly gave her a hug. However Minos’s voice suddenly spoke in Cain’s head, ruining the moment for him completely.

“Wow, what a beauty. Let me out, I bet I can charm her with a single sentence”

“And I can kill you with a single thought, so you better not saying anything about Miren”

“...”

Minos quickly shut his mouth.
