Cain suddenly felt a new power flow through him. Genetic Warriors were split into realms that went from Tier 1 to Tier 10 based on their stats. Tier 1 Genetic Warriors have an average of 10 stats, Tier 2 an average of 20, so on and so forth. Once someone breaks through tier 10 and has average stats that are above 100, they are no longer considered Genetic Warriors, but instead become Genetic Generals. Genetic Generals work the same way but they rank up with every 100 additional stat points.

Genetic General’s were the ones who truly roamed the Universe, anything below that level would be considered cannon fodder and they would die very quickly they moment they entered space. Genetic Warriors only had power on earth, the second they tried roaming the universe filled with different races and species, they would be lucky to become someone's servant. The headmaster of Cain’s school was a tier 9 Genetic Warrior, or else he would have long left this planet in search for more opportunities to get stronger in space.

Cain was one step closer to realizing his goal, if he managed to fuse his two genes together his stats might just skyrocket to 100, but first he would need to master them both which would take time. Cain could already feel that the universe wasn’t far from him and that he would head there soon. Now that Cain just awakened a new ability, he decided to go out and test it, he found the school mission board and browsed it for possible options.

“Tier 1 Genetic Warrior - kill 10 Mud Crabs”

“Tier 1 Genetic Warrior - find 100 Teardrop Crystal in the Shemty Swamp Cave”

“Tier 2 Genetic Warrior - defeat the Flaming Steelback Rhino and bring back its tusk”

Cain could currently be considered a tier 1 genetic warrior, but his speed stat was already comparable to a tier 2 and he was a monster who could find above his level so he realized a quest met for tier 1 Genetic Warrior wouldn’t be much of a challenge.

“Are you sure you want to take this quest senior brother Cain, no one in has managed to complete it since the Flaming Steelback Rhino is considered very powerful among the same class”

“Don’t worry, I can handle it”

Cain quickly persuaded the young lady in charge of the mission board before heading out of the room.

“Did you guys hear, senior brother Cain is trying to defeat the Flaming Steelback Rhino!”

“Yeah, that mission has been up on the board for nearly a year, and no one has been able to complete it. I wonder if senior brother Cain can do it”

“Of course he can do it, don’t you remember when senior brother Cain tore a hole through Hotch’s mammoth form with a single toss of his spear?”

At this moment Graxi had walked into the room and was instantly displeased with what the students were saying.

“Hmph, how can Flaming Steelback Rhino be compared to that fool Hotch, its defense, strength, and speed are all a grade higher. I bet Cain will run back here, crying for his mommy”

The students instantly silenced down, no one wanted to offend Graxi considering her background, the second they got on her bad side they rest of their school year would become hell.

“Nasty Graxi, what do you know, you’re just jealous cause Cain beat you so easily”

Lilith hear the commotion and quickly came in to defend Cain, she was never a fan of Graxi and so she took any chance she could to argue with her. She wasn’t afraid of Graxi regardless, she came from the Vaga clan and was a talented student herself.

“DON'T CALL ME NASTY GRAXI HMPH. How about we bet on it!? I bet Cain will fail that mission, I’ll give you a gene stimulating elixir if I lose, do you dare bet?”

“Why wouldn’t I dare Nasty Graxi, let’s just wait and see what happens”

While this arguing went on, Cain was already headed to the desert plans. The journey took him a few hours, with today's technology get across the planet was a simple thing, but that was only to get to the border of the desert plains. The desert plain was ruled by beasts and hence mankind could only play around the edges, so Cain would have to do the rest of the journey on foot.

The one rule of survival was water, everything needed water and hence Cain started searching for watering holes. The hours went by and the sun that was once burning with infinite strength had already dropped below the horizon, a normal person would freeze to death during the immense cold of the desert nights, but with Cain’s current stats it was no problem.

He found a cave and decided to call it a night, suddenly in the middle of the night, he heard thumps travelling across the cave floor. Cain quickly peered out of his cave and saw a small group of Flaming Steelback Rhino’s. They were giving off a blazing heat at all times and looked ferocious, Cain knew fighting an entire group would be a death warrant, hence the first part of his plan was separating them.
