《The Greatest Gene》Fighting Hotch Again

“Calm down George, I’m not going to kill you”
“Oh god Cain, you scared the hell out of me”
“Don’t you have a little girlfriend to hang out with nowadays, what brings you here”
“Can’t friends just look out for each other every once in a while?”
Cain didn’t believe what George said for a second, everytime he had come to him in the past, he always had something to say.
“Alright, you know me too well. Let’s go to the virtual arena, all the colleges in the Genetic Union are hooked up to the same arena so you can face anyone in the world”
“Why are you suddenly interested in the virtual arena?”
“There's a summer event going on at the moment, the first student to 100 wins gets a prize. That Hotch kid you beat up last time is currently in first place with 53 wins, you’ve gotta go teach him a lesson”
Cain decided to play along with George’s antics and go to the virtual arena. He hadn’t had a chance to test his strength in a long time anyways so now would be a good opportunity. They soon reached the virtual reality room. Students were crowded around a screen watching the fights taking place within. You could see Hotch in his mammoth mode destroying competitors, his win count had already gone up to 58.
“That Hotch person is arrogant, he said senior brother Cain doesn’t dare to fight him again, but I bet senior brother Cain could beat him in a single move”
“Yeah, he’s only talking big because senior brother Cain isn’t he or else he’d have shut up a long time ago”
“Hey, look where your sho-”
Before he could finish his sentence he realized the person who was shoving him was Cain himself, he looked up at the screen and acknowledged Hotch. It had been nearly a year since the NSCE and he had improved a lot, but not enough. Cain decided to teach him a lesson before his arrogance grew anymore and quickly logged onto the arena. When he opened his eyes again he was in the arena.

“Everyone look, senior brother Cain is fighting Hotch, he’ll teach him a lesson”
“Yeah, Hotch is about to learn that he isn’t that great after all”
Cain and Hotch looked towards one another. Hotch’s eyes were spewing flames and it seemed like he had been feeling bad about his defeat to Cain for a long time.
“Cain, I didn’t even know you the first time I saw you in the past, I only thought you were a nobody hence you caught me off guard. It won’t happen again however, so be prepared to lose”
Hotch didn’t want to take any risks so he went into his mammoth mode easily, the problem with form was its lack of speed, and Cain was the best person to exploit this weakness with his movement speed of 100 meters every second. Cain already had experience facing Hotch’s mammoth mode, so he knew how to handle it. He quickly opened up a massive gap that Hotch couldn’t close in a short time before charging up his spear. He was going to use his slow spear technique on his spear toss, amplifying its power multiple times before Hotch could even reach him.
Eventually as Hotch got closer, Cain released his spear, which had been charged up for about 10 seconds. The spear shot forward so quickly it released a sonic boom, it was travelling faster than sound, and before Hotch could create it had already tore a hole from one end of his body to the other. Hotch was lucky this was virtual reality or else he’d have been dead long ago, his mammoth body collapsed and disappeared.
The students watching went wild, they knew Cain would most likely win, but their big talk was mainly due to their anger towards Hotch, they didn’t really expect the gap to be this huge, but the fight had truly ended in a single move. On the Myriad Beast Form College side, the students were all gloomy and crestfallen, their strongest student was defeated by a single move, and to top that off he wasn’t even from a Genetic Warrior school, but a research one instead.

Cain didn’t stop there however, he kept fighting. Plenty of students who were considered geniuses from different schools got defeated in a single move. Cain was mowing down his opponents like they were grass, his win count was snowballing and quickly overcame Hotch’s. The other students were terrified and some logged off the second they realized they were facing Cain.
The students started noticing Cain wasn’t just a genius, he was a monster. geniuses could defeat regular people easily, but would struggle against other geniuses, where as monsters would defeat geniuses like they were regular people. The only way to defeat a monster was to find another even more gruesome monster, unfortunately there were no monsters in Cain’s current year so he was undefeatable.
Only the third years could challenge him, but that's a task with high risk and no reward. If they win they would have bullied a junior, and if they lost it meant that they were worse than someone younger than them.
Cain got his 100 wins no problem, and now he was just waiting for his reward.

Heart of the World (LitRPG)
This is the story of how I stabbed a bear. Well... technically speaking, that became the moment my life went into a vastly different direction, all on my way to 'The Mission'. The one I had been given alongside two other seasoned players. To help people in a world with a world. But, oh hoh, that bear... Don't get me started on that. So, apart from that, here is the gist of the other part. I'm a year long employee. Though, several years before I became an employee of theirs, this crazy ensuing madness of a Full Dive battle royale between even more companies started to boil over to a breaking point. Mine thought to search for something that would truly blow the competition out of the water. Well, they found it. Deep under the sea actually. They called it a game changer. Rumors abounded of course. But the most common knowledge became that it was a power source unlike the world had ever seen. However, I can tell you now, the unknown sometimes bump back. Especially when experimenting on highly unknown elements. Still, years safely went by and thus I became a developer there. Now, what does any of this got to do with stabbing a bear? Well, ask them that! They started it all. I'm new remember! Though, chaos ensued, and well, I was there. It probably helped that I had proven myself a good fighter in game and that I had some knowledge that could help with the triplets. Oh, but my sister would box my ears if she ever realized how little time I spent learning what the other developers created in the game before I had to go in there on, 'The Mission.' So, this is a story of a mission to save the people in Realm of Ancients. Not those rookies! Oh no, that was just a precurser. AND THERE WAS THE BEAR! Sorry, I had trouble getting over it. But that specific moment changed things. -- -- Hi! This is a project I have started for the fun. This is not your typical comedy. Yes, I added quite a bit humour to the story, BUT as things go into the eye of the storm the character will face challenges that hits him down. So it is not comedy in every chapter. But what do they say, when you've hit bottom, only way to go is up! :D I am always open to suggestions that might take the story to new heights, so you all are welcome to discuss the story in the comments. Just remember the all important SPOILER tags. ;) -Omri - I'd truly appreciate if you rate the story and leave reviews as we go. ;)

The Book of Dreams Chapter Two, The Temple Of Dreams
This is the sequel to the 'The Book o Dreams, Chapter one, The staff and The Sword'. I wrote it during last year's NaNoWriMo and Writathon. If there is a need for more books in this series, I will continue in the next year's NaNoWriMo. Now the synopsis... The claws of chaos closed in on the land of Clover. After the plague bourne peace of three years, the plague of war once again reared its ugly head. And in a moment of vulnerability, the Moras house sent out marriage alliance proposals to the all influential noble houses. The bride? A mentally impaired Sena Moras, who clung to the last thread of her sanity; the last words the Shadewolf had left her. Away from the wars and politics, in the heart of the Dreaming mountains, her former companions, Erhan’s and his group still continued their journey to reach the Mountain of Hunger, where the legendary Book of Dreams lay enshrined. But the perils of their path increased as an unnatural surge in activity of the vicious Nightmares, whom even Erhan didn’t dare face in direct combat, stood in their way. And encompassing everything, lay a vague sense of a dread that only those with the gift of premonition could sense. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
