Chen Hanchen grasped Yan Xiu's shoulder as he stared at Yan Xiu with fire in his eyes. Yan Xiu was a little scared by Chen Hanchen's eyes.
"Little Xiu!" (CH)
"Yes!?" (MC)
Yan Xiu unintentionally raise his voice.
"I'm going to train you to be the best hunter!" (CH)
"Yes!..... Eh?" (MC)
"Our first goal is 100% accuracy! From what I see, you have 40% accuracy with needle, 30% with javelin, and 20% with whip. We're gonna raise it all to 100%! And I'm gonna add moving targets to your training. Now, let's get to training right away!" (CH)
Yan Xiu was a little taken back by Chen Hanchen sudden fervor but, he was also motivated. He had other goals other than becoming a hunter when he became an apprentice hunter. For that goal, the sooner he became a hunter the better.
"Yes, senior!" (MC)
"Good! Let's start!" (CH)
For the rest of the day, the two of them didn't left the training ground. One training and the other teaches. Yan Xiu threw needles after needles, javelins after javelins at the target practices. Yan Xiu's accuracy slowly rose after every throw.
For his whip training, Chen Hanchen uses a spell to make ball of water which hovered in the air. He told Yan Xiu to struck the water ball with the whip. Yan Xiu integrated what he learn from the basic whipmaship book with his every move.
But he didn't follow it blindly. With every move he changed his stance and moves to something more comfortable and suitable for him. Like his throwing skill, his whipmanship slowly rose.
Chen Hanchen couldn't teach him anything for the Green Water spell, so he told Yan Xiu to trained only the Green Water spell at night. At day, he trained his throwing skill and whipmanship with Chen Hanchen. And at night, he trained the Green Water spell.
Yan Xiu switch and stopped briefly after each session of the two training to caught his breath before resuming again. Midway the second session of throwing training, Chen Hanchen changed his target with the floating water ball.

The two of them didn't tire, only when the sky turned dark did the two of them stop.
"Very good, we'll stop here today. Tomorrow just come here straight away, I'll tell the head about it." (CH)
"Yes, senior! Thank you for your guidance!" (MC)
Yan Xiu left after changing a few words with Chen Hanchen. After waving goodbye at Yan Xiu, Chen Hanchen looked at the target practices and the wet ground, he sigh and smiled.
'To think he raise his accuracy by 10% for throwing skills and 5% for whipmanship. Back then I needed two weeks to raise my accuracy by 10% and yet he only need half a day. Hah, comparison can really kill someone.'
Despite what he said, Chen Hanchen couldn't stop smiling. He even smiled in his sleep. The first thing Yan Xiu did when he reach home was checking the crops and livestock before taking a bath. The feeling of his clothing wet with his sweat was uncomfortable.
While he submerged on the big bathtub, Yan Xiu felt fresh and relaxed. He sat crossed legs and began cultivating. Yan Xiu cultivates twice a day, in the morning and at night. He didn't cultivate yesterday because of the BBQ and training, so he make it up tonight.
He drove his Zhenqi around his body according to the Breath of Earth manual. Once.. Twice.. After the tenth revolution, his cultivation breakthrough from the Qi Refining second stage to third stage!
Yan Xiu was excited but he calm himself down and stabilise his Zhenqi. After his vigorous Zhenqi calm down, Yan Xiu smiled from ear to ear. Finally he breakthrough again after his last breakthrough a month ago. His training in these few days was rousing his Zhenqi and became the final push.
Yan Xiu was worried whether he could train with the Green Water spell with his low Zhenqi reserve. But now, his Zhenqi reserve had a boost with him in third stage. He put up both his hand and cast the Green Water spell, green-colored water drops appeared and float above his hand.

Yan Xiu was curious, recalling how the pigs scuffled for the water drops, 'Does it taste good?' thought Yan Xiu. He then combine the drops to one drop the size of a quail egg and ate it.
Yan Xiu's eyes brightened, the water was refreshing with cool sensation like mint water. There was no bitterness, only a faint sweet taste. Yan Xiu could feel his fatigue and the soreness in his muscles alleviated a little. He cast the spell again, once was not enough.
While savoring the taste, Yan Xiu brows furrowed in confusion. The water tasted great and had a proper healing properties but that's it, it didn't warrant the pigs reaction.
'Why did the pigs react like that? Or is the effect differ between animals and human?' Yan Xiu quickly dried his body and changed clothes before going to the pig pen.
Some of the pigs were already sleeping, Yan Xiu went inside and checked the pigs so that he could compare. Thinking it as a training, Yan Xiu cast the Green Water spell multiple times to fill a basin before pouring it to the pigs water bowl. Yan Xiu exhausted all his Zhenqi and leaning on the pen wall weakly.
The pigs caught the water drops smell and went toward the bowl, the sleeping pigs also woke up and trotted to the bowl. The pigs fought for the water, the biggest pigs drank the most but this time, all of the pigs drank some albeit only a few drops.
Yan Xiu checked the pigs and to his surprise, the pigs was filled with qi! Much more compared to before they drank the water. More qi means more money, the biggest pigs had their qi almost doubled means their price also doubled!
And more qi also improved their taste, Yan Xiu was greatly surprised but also happy. He could sell them for more and he also could make more delicious dishes out of them. Yan Xiu wanted to test whether it only affect the pig or it could do the same with crops or other livestock.
Unfortunately, his Zhenqi was spent. Yan Xiu decided to test it tomorrow, he was already content for tonight with discovering a way to increase the qi in his pigs. he then went to the kitchen to cook dinner. As a small celebration for advancing and the discovery, Yan Xiu decided to cook one of his favourite, the oyster sauce dish!
He diced a garlic, bombay onion, and big red and green chillies. Though big in size, the chillies wasn't that hot. He put it aside and began boiling the meat and removing the scum, Yan Xiu then cut the meat to little bite size after done boiling.
Yan Xiu heat some oil in the wok and put in the diced garlic and bombay onion. After it became fragrant, he put in the chillies and wait a little before pouring some water, oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce, and a little bit of chilli sauce.
When all the sauces and ingredients mix, he put in the meat. He then add salt and sugar. The dish tasted better with seafood and beef but beggars can't be choosers, seafood rarely available in the village and beef were kind of expensive.
The piping hot dish was letting out an enticing fragrance, he transferred the dish to a plate and set it down on the table. With a bowl of rice in hand, Yan Xiu ate the dish after saying prayer. The pork coated with thick sauce taste both sweet and spicy, the heavy taste mellowed when eaten with rice. Yan Xiu ate with relish before retiring for the night.
