Soaring Dragon Continent, Black Tortoise Forest
The Sky Serpent that the ten school elders summoned and the Demon Ape King both hit each other head on, causing an explosion. The explosion was so loud that it forced the elders to cover their ears and it even blew them a few feet back.
This move used up more of the qi in their body so they could only use it once more if they had to. Using more than that would render them unable to move for more than a day. Beads of sweat drenched their robes as they looked up to the fall Demon Ape King. A sigh of relief was in heard from them as it seemed that using the Sky Serpent technique really ended it all.
The Demon Ape King was falling, however it controlled its footing, making sure that it won’t be injured when landing. Boom!
It landed on the ground creating a huge crater. The dust rose in the air and all you could see was its red eyes. The elders thought it was over because the Demon Ape King wasn’t moving, but they were foolish to think so.
“Damnit! Even that didn’t do it!”
“What do you expect from a beast that is capable of speech, if it couldn’t survive that then it wouldn’t be worth much.”
“Hpmh, it seems you are overpraising that beast.”
“Hahaha, you humans are interesting. That last attack you did really did some damage to me.” The Demon Ape King said in a deep voice while the dust slowly dispersed.
Once the dust was gone, you could understand why the Demon Ape King said they did some damage to him. Its left hand was gone and its bones were showing through its bloody flesh. Massive amounts of blood was oozing out of its arm, but that didn’t seem to bother it much. This was the only injury it had to its body, but considering how much qi this move had drained from those ten elders, it was not enough.

The Demon Ape King’s eyes went to Qiu Zhen, or to be more precise the baby monkey behind his back. “You should have just stayed put, but instead you came here. Wait until ‘he’ hears about this.”
The elders didn’t notice the baby monkey behind Qiu Zhen’s back, so they thought that the Demon Ape King was talking to Qiu Zhen. All of the elders present have heard of Qiu Zhen, and they knew about his talent, they could not let him die. They strengthened their formation but the gathering speed of qi in the air was slow, unlike before.
“Hpmh! To think that I’ve been put into this state, he’ll really tell me off when I return. I won’t consider you human trash anymore, but you are lucky ‘he’ restricted me or else I would ruin you! Let us meet again, on a more even playing field!” The Demon Ape king said as its body completely vanished.
The elders who were gathering the qi let out a huge sigh of relief. If they had to continue fighting that demon beast they would probably lose. However something big caught their attention, the Demon Ape King said ‘he’ meaning someone stronger than it sent it to this forest. It also said its power was restricted. If it wasn’t restricted then how strong would it become? It took ten of these elders to injure it, but that wasn’t a major wound. If it was more powerful than that… The mere thought of that demon beast being even an ounce stronger caused these ten elders to fear for their lives.
One elder flashed, he moved to where the Demon Ape King landed. His eyes grew big as he reached down and grabbed something. In his hands was the black jewel that the Demon Ape King called its treasured bait. It seems that he wasn’t the only one to move because the other elders shortly followed after him.
“Let me see, what is it?”
The elder quickly glanced over the jewel, but he felt that it was just a normal jewel. Since it didn’t seem to be any kind of special treasure, he showed the other elders what it was. If it was a real treasure then he wouldn’t even dare show the other elders, but since it wasn’t he didn’t mind.

The other nine elders faces turned grey, they couldn’t believe that this was the treasure. A black jewel that they could find on the market, this was the treasure that the inner disciples provoked that demon beast for.
“What kind of joke is this!”
“It seems that this talk of a Black Tortoise descending was all in the elder's head. Having us risk our lives facing that damn Demon Ape King, only for a fucking common jewel.”
The elder tossed it, putting it back on the ground. A black jewel could be found on the market, but it wasn’t worth anything to cultivators. They didn’t care much for jewelry. The other elders didn’t even pay it any mind after he threw it, they glanced over at Qiu Zhen and Gan Fang who were both lying on the ground.
“Bring them back?”
“Eh, just resume the hunt, maybe one of these disciples will find the real treasure if there was any.”
“Agreed, we should hurry back to tell the headmaster of that Demon Ape King. If it comes back later we should be prepared.”
Shortly after the elders disappeared, leaving Qiu Zhen and Gan Fang on the ground unconscious. Their injuries weren’t fatal and since they were already down when the Demon Ape King used its warcry, they didn’t feel its effects, however they were tossed a few meters back.
Gan Fang was the first to wake up, opening his eyes he looked around the field. The countless number of bodies were still there, but there was also a crater. The Demon Ape King was not in sight, however there was this massive amount of blood that suggested it was at least injured.
Gan Fang got up, he was shaking his head while looking for Qiu Zhen. He overestimated his strength. Fighting that assassin was not a good idea so he feared for Qiu Zhen’s life. His eyes spotted Qiu Zhen who seemed to be five meters away from him, a pool of blood was beneath him.
‘Dead? He died at such a young age too.’ Gan Fang thought to himself as he walked over to Qiu Zhen. He flipped him over and breathed a sigh of relief, it was only coming out of his mouth and he didn’t have any serious injuries. Gan Fang sat down and closed his eyes. It was better to start healing himself up before this place became filled with more demon beast.
-----
Qiu Zhen was out for one entire day before waking up, he found himself laying by a fire. Next to the fire was Hu Jun who was staring at him teary eyed and by her expression you could tell she was extremely worried. ‘She couldn’t have did this, could she?’ Qiu Zhen thought to himself, but quickly dismissed that thought.
His eyes wandered across the fire and landed on Li Haun who was meditating. Qiu Zhen couldn’t find Gan Fang. “Where’s brother Gan Fang?” Qiu Zhen asked.
Hu Jun stood up and walked over to him, “You should rest more. Brother Gan Fang is hunting demon cores, he should return soon.”
“What about the Demon Ape King?”
“I… I don’t know. When I told the elders about it they rushed here, and when I arrived Gan Fang was meditating while you were out.” Hu Jun said to Qiu Zhen while her face turned slightly red.
Qiu Zhen wondered why she was embarrassed and glanced down at himself, only to notice that his upper body was naked. ‘Fuck! Should I kill her!?’ Qiu Zhen thought to himself, his tattoo was visible and he didn’t want anyone to find out about it. ‘If she’s seen it, then so does Li Haun and Gan Fang.’
When Qiu Zhen looked down, the tattoo itself only had the head of three dragons. ‘Does one disappear every time one wakes up!?’ Qiu Zhen thought to himself for a bit. ‘Then what happens when all five wake up.’
Swosh!
Gan Fang landed on the ground right next to the fire and glanced at Qiu Zhen. “Brother Qiu Zhen you're awake! I thought you wouldn’t wake up for another three days! Your speed of recovery is fast.”
“My body is just a little better than others.” Qiu Zhen said as he got up out from laying down.
Gan Fang’s face seemed to turn serious, the mood also turned in another direction. “Qiu Zhen since you’re awake, there’s something I would like to talk about with you.”
‘Does he know?’

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes

How a lame loner's life is not like normal dudes
Are you a loner? If you ask me I have to say yes. And it has nothing to do with the plot. The summary is going to be messy so please bear. *The Summary* Join the adventure of our MC Akito. Who's a Japanese 2nd Year High School student going throuh with an unusual problem. And that is the writer has not casted him in a good narrative story. The MC is going through serious depression and anxiety due to this and he doesn't even know what's going to happen with him in the near future. And of course this won't be narrated in the story because the author is a lazy hobo who has no will to write. *Lame unimportant information* *Please skip this part* Its a story of a character who happens to be the character of a writer. And that writer by the way is the character of another story. Basically its a story of that guy. And here the main character happens to be me (the main character here. I'm narrating the story for your information.). And its kind of sad that its a comedy rather than gruesome action fantasy or virtual reality story. But its an uncommon story which you'll never hear about or will never see be famous for some lame reasons. By the way the author doesn't even have any aspiration to imrpove his grammar so whack him for his terrible excuse of grammar. And also be prepared to wash your eyes with bleach after reading it. Bleach is gonna clean your eyes ;)
