Soaring Dragon Continent, Black Tortoise Forest
Who should I go after first? The three in that direction or the one behind me? The choices, the choices.
The Demon Ape King kept looking in both directions. It seemed like it was stuck trying to make the best decision. Thinking about it for a moment, it decided to go after the three in front. Playing around with three people was obviously better than one.
However, it turned around first and headed towards the object that was shining on the ground. Somehow it was something precious to the Demon Ape King. Maybe it was some sort of treasure. The Demon Ape King picked up the small object with it’s huge hands, revealing its true form.
“Can’t leave without my treasured bait!”
Treasured bait it called it, something that it would use to attract the attention of greedy humans trying to steal from it. Something that would catch the eyes of everyone when they see it from afar. In his huge hands laid a tiny pure black jewel. The sunlight reflected off of it created a beautiful shine that could be seen from far away, but if anyone knew what it actually was, they would never trade their life for it.
Who would try to steal a black jewel from a Demon Ape King? Fighting such a beast over something that they can find in the market. You would have to be stupid to even consider that idea.
Now that the Demon Ape King had its treasure at hand, it walked towards the outer region of the forest. It’s prey tried to escape, but he wouldn’t let it.

Qiu Zhen’s red eyes kept darting back and forth looking for the person or demon beast watching him. He couldn’t feel them out for their qi because theirs was much higher than his but he knew they were out there keeping their eyes on him. This was a horrible situation to be in. Someone or something way stronger than you is hiding watching you but you can’t find their location. In such a situation, you can die in the blink of an eye.

Qiu Zhen was feeling nervous and excited at the same time. His blood was pumping. Qiu Zhen took out his sword while infusing it with his qi making it sharper and sturdier.
“Why are you hiding? Don’t want to show yourself!?”
Swosh!
A small figure flashed as it approached Qiu Zhen, but he had prepared himself. Swinging his sword at the figure, he was hoping to kill it only to miss. Qiu Zhen didn’t even touch its afterimage. Whatever it was, it was way faster than him.
“Ohh Ohh.”
The small figure latched onto Qiu Zhen’s back while climbing around. Whatever it was, it didn’t seem like it wanted to hurt him but it was annoying him. Qiu Zhen reached across his back trying to grab the little thing but instead, the thing climbed around and came forward.
It just so happened to be a baby monkey, except Qiu Zhen couldn’t figure out what it was called. The baby monkey in front of him didn’t match the description of any of the primates he knew. Maybe it was a new species. It was small, less than one meter tall with white fur and red eyes. On its head was something that looked like a crown that was silver in color but when the sunlight hit it, it turned golden.
“What is this thing? Why is it here?” Qiu Zhen thought to himself while trying to catch the baby monkey. He wasn’t really interested in it because he didn’t know what kind of monkey it was.
The only thing he was interested about the little thing was that it didn’t have any qi in its body. If it was a demon beast, it should have already been born with qi inside its body, even if it was only at the first Qi realm. However this thing had none, not even an ounce of it.
“Fuck! Get off me!” Qiu Zhen yelled. Whenever he tried to catch the little thing, it crawled to another spot. His eyebrows kept twitching. He really wanted to chop this thing in two.

“Ohh eee?”
Suddenly the baby monkey hid behind Qiu Zhen’s back. It knew something was approaching and it didn’t like it.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
Three men dressed in pure black clothing appeared in front of Qiu Zhen. He couldn’t even tell their cultivation level. They were definitely in the Mystical realm. Seeing how the three men didn’t look like they were here to talk, Qiu Zhen had a feeling that they wanted to kill him. Why? Why would three people he had never met before would want to kill him?
“Tsk!” Qiu Zhen clicked his tongue while he dashed back towards where the Demon Ape King was. He wasn’t going to stay around and wait for his death but he had an odd feeling that he knew who did this. Out of all the people who he had pissed off so far, only one would do something like this.
“Think you can escape!?”
The three men chased after Qiu Zhen, each and every one of them took out their weapons. For a brat who was only at the first Dao realm, they needed three people to kill him. In their hearts, they were laughing at the people who hired them, thinking that this was easy money.
“Die!!”
One man attacked Qiu Zhen while he was fleeing, it wasn’t good to attack someone while their back was towards you, but he didn’t care. Boom!
Qiu Zhen turned around just in time to exchange sword blows with the man. However how could his strength match up to someone at the Mystical realm. Qiu Zhen’s sword broke into pieces while the attack still went through. It cut Qiu Zhen across his chest, making him fly across the forest crashing into a tree.
The baby monkey that was on Qiu Zhen’s back jumped off and kicked the man in the face. “Eee ooh!” The baby monkey screamed. However, the kick did nothing but annoy the man. His hand swung out trying to grab the baby monkey but it was too fast and his hand only passed through the afterimage.
The baby monkey kept going around pounding and kicking the man while the man’s rage was shooting up. “Imma kill you, you damn monkey!” Once he said that, the baby monkey backed off. It could feel the man’s killing intent rising.
“Idiot! You should have finished the job.”
“Don’t worry, he’s dead.”
The baby monkey felt some strange aura approaching so it fled. The aura that it was feeling was cold. It had made all the hairs on the baby monkey’s body stood straight while giving it a feeling of death.

When Li Haun killed those five males, she didn’t expect that Hu Jun was following behind her. When her eyes locked onto Hu Jun’s, she knew that her power had been exposed but Li Haun didn’t care. She knew that Hu Jun wouldn’t be able to tell what she did. If anything, she would think that she was daydreaming. A cultivator at the fifth Dao realm killing five males whose cultivation is higher than her own, in a split second. Who would believe something like that?
After running back towards the outer region for thirty minutes, she felt that she was far enough from the Demon Ape King. Why would such a beast chase after her when it could still go after Gan Fang or Hu Jun?
Li Haun slowed her pace down. Her speed started to match her cultivation again while she went towards another region. However, she checked her surroundings this time to make sure that no one was following her. Since she was all alone, she needed to make sure to keep her powers under wraps so that it wouldn't leak out.

DarkBoi69's mediocre, rushed and badly-written aventure
Follow DarkBoi69's edgy adventure as I move him through a shitty plot where he meets terribly-written characters like angry evil stupid villains and naive cute useless busty women. This story is not really an actual serious story but simply a writing exercise for me to focus on overall writing speed, forcefully insert some writing in my everyday life to increase productivity and most importantly help with turning ideas, thoughts or feelings into writing directly without feeling blocked, hopefully trying to achieve something as close as possible to writing unconsciously what i’m thinking about. I'll probably try to do something like writing as much in 30 mins as I can, nearly every-day. So far I've only done this once and it already seems like a pretty good thing to do. I don’t have anything planned and that’s probably going to be a constant for every one of these exercises, so it’ll end up being not very good (although maybe better than it has any right to be? ) and nonsensical.
