Chapter of the day, enjoy! (So late cause power went out -.- damn wind)

Soaring Dragon Continent, Sky Serpent School

Qiu Zhen stopped before exiting the door and turned around to look at Fang Wei. “Oh, you didn’t know master, this disciple is fighting some arrogant bastard in the life and death arena.”

‘Not like you aren’t arrogant yourself’ Fang Wei thought to himself before speaking, “Oh, who is this disciple?”

“Eh, just some nobody you should worry yourself with, but if you really want to know… it’s Ye Fa.”

Fang Wei closed his eyes and meditated again, before suddenly opening them. “Ye Fa! You said Ye Fa right…?”

“En”

Fang Wei started shaking his head, he couldn’t believe that Qiu Zhen had ticked off Ye Fa to an extent that they are having a life and death match. Qiu Zhen is his only disciple and Fang Wei somewhat didn’t want his only disciple to die even if he was a headache. “What made you two have an agreement on a life and death match?”

Qiu Zhen didn’t hold anything back and told Fang Wei the story of how Ye Chen came to get his cultivation pills and all his belongs to how Ye Fa ended up coming and facing him. Knowing the Qiu Zhen wouldn’t back down and give any face to Ye Fa, Fang Wei felt like a big headache was coming along. Fang Wei knows that Qiu Zhen is at the third Dao realm, but that isn’t good enough to fight Ye Fa who is at the seventh Dao realm. If this match happens, Qiu Zhen would instantly die.

Fang Wei got up from his meditative position and floated towards the door, “Let's go.”

“Where to?”

“To stop the match, you don’t want to die, do you?”

Qiu Zhen was momentarily shocked, he didn’t think that Fang Wei cared for him so much he would try to stop the match. He started grinning while looking at Fang Wei, “No need master! This disciple of yours shall clean up his own mess!”

Fang Wei couldn’t move, his disciple was really looking to die. When he wanted to go stop the duel and save his disciples life, his disciple stopped him, either he had a way out of this on his own, or he really wanted to die. Fang Wei couldn’t decide what to do, he sighed and went back to meditate, he decided to believe in his disciple.

“Master I didn’t truly understand you, it seems you do care for me. Let me tell you a secret, Ye Fa is like a blind fish going into a fisher's net. In a few hours, you watch this disciple shock the whole school.”

To Fang Wei, it seems his over-confident disciple had the utmost belief that he would win the match no matter what. If he could actually win, then that would be shocking beyond belief, and Qiu Zhen’s position in the school would rise expediently. However, if he lost then he would be just another disciple who thought he was the best, and everyone else was trash. If this would truly be Qiu Zhen’s last moments, Fang Wei decided in his heart that he would see his disciples last fight.

After leaving his master's house, Qiu Zhen hurriedly sprinted back to his room so he could start cultivating ‘9 Revolving Heaven’, if he could even master the first stage then his strength would increase, making it even easier for him to beat Ye Fa. Qiu Zhen sat down and read through the first few pages of the book, making sure he remembered all the steps to the body skill.

‘9 Revolving Heaven’ first stage increases your strength by two times the amount it’s at now, but the cultivation method was different than normal. To cultivate this body skill one has to first remove all his limitations set on his body, which sounded easy in theory but was hard to execute. However for Qiu Zhen, to pass such a stage would be simple for him, all he needed was enough qi in his dantian and he could learn any skill.

Closing his eyes, Qiu Zhen started meditating getting his body ready to enter into his special state that only the person with the 5 Heavenly Dragon tattoo was able to enter. His mind was at ease, and slowly a transparent image of him appeared within his mind. Qiu Zhen stared at his head, looking for the point which was closed up that kept all his strength from leaking out. The first stage was to remove the limitations, but to do that he needed to unblock whatever kept him from using his full strength. ‘Two points located.’

Thanks to the special state given to him by the 5 Heavenly Dragon Tattoo, he was able to locate the two points that were located on his head. One point was on his left temple, while the other on the right. The energy given off by both of these points were black, and the other qi energy that was flowing through his body was being blocked by these points making the energy released to be less. Qiu Zhen concentrated all his qi to flow to his left temple, which caused that point to start shaking. Boom! The point broke and the energy released felt like it was pure and thick.

Qiu Zhen only broke one point but the energy that started flowing in his body felt as if it doubled in size. Next was his right temple, which he did in the same manner as before and the qi in his body felt even fuller than before. With breaking both the points, his qi which seemed blue now turned somewhat transparent. However, this was just one part of the first stage, Qiu Zhen still needed to complete the other.

To unlock his limitations on himself, Qiu Zhen not only needed to increase the flow and richness of his qi energy, he also needed to break his bones that were reborn anew already, and break them again. Every single bone in his body needed to be broken down with his new qi energy, and reborn with the same energy. This would cause his body to be supported by his new qi, while getting rid of the old. Breaking his bones with only qi energy sounded easy, but it was harder to do. One must release a ton of qi to attack their own bone causing it to break, which would cause one pain, and to rebuild the bone on your own was something else.

Qiu Zhen didn’t have to worry much about it, now that he has broken past his qi limitation, his qi is even fuller than before, so he has enough to break apart and rebuild most of his bones. With the help of the 5 Heavenly Dragon tattoo, the process was easy, but straining. Originally Qiu Zhen thought he could at least do half the bones in his body before the qi in his body ran out, he never thought that the 5 Heavenly Dragon tattoo would use more energy than normal during this process, so he only broke and rebuilt a quarter of his bones.

Qiu Zhen opened his eyes, and strangely enough things seemed somewhat different than before. When he glanced at himself he could see every meridian in his body and the amount of qi they were releasing, when he glanced at an object he could see it’s weak point. However, this only lasted when he first opened his eyes, and then everything returned to normal a few minutes after.

To Qiu Zhen it felt like he was only mediating for a few minutes, but the outside world time was moving much faster. The sun was already setting so now it was time for his final match against Ye Fa, Qiu Zhen grabbed a few DayNight pills and popped them in his mouth restoring some of his lost qi before heading out.

On his way over to the arena there were tons of disciples running the same direction as him and talking about the match that was going to happen. Most were wondering who this ‘Qiu Zhen’ was, but they all knew that he was going to die at the hands of Ye Fa. Qiu Zhen who blended in with them suddenly found himself running next to a young man who seemed around twenty-two, he had short black hair and a grey robe on. He must have noticed that Qiu Zhen glanced at him because he returned the look, showing a cheerful smile.

“I guess you’re going to see the match too?”

Qiu Zhen didn’t think the guy would start a conversation with him, he was taken by surprise. “Yeah, you could say that.”

The man lightly laughed, “Haha, brother, no need to be so modest, if you go you go, if you dont you dont. We have no need to hide it, we are all looking forward to the match.”

It wasn’t that Qiu Zhen was being modest, it’s just that he wasn’t going to see the match, he was going to be in it. “Ah, I never caught your name?”

The man stopped running and stuck out his hand, “Gan Fang, but you can just call me Elder brother Fang.”

“Eh, Gan is your surname… you wouldn’t happen to be in the Gan clan would you.”

Gan Fang was slightly started, many knew of the Gan clan, but in Fu Kingdom no one mentioned that name much since it was a clan in a different kingdom. Gan Fang only nodded his head.

Qiu Zhen wondered if something was up, it seemed when he mentioned the Gan clan that Gan Fang’s expression changed, but it was only for a moment. Qiu Zhen didn’t know if he should mention it again, so he just said they should get a move on. Qiu Zhen wouldn’t disrespectful towards people that he should get acquainted to, when meeting someone who is trying to befriend him naturally he’ll give them face. If one has enemies, naturally they need friends who can help back them up.

In their sight was a huge crowd, it seemed as if every inner disciple was surrounding the stage. There were four elders floating in the sky above the stage, and Fang Wei was one of them. Qiu Zhen felt a bit touched, his master cared for him after all. “Oh, that reminds me, I never caught your name.” Gan Fang seemed to remember that he was the only one who stated his name.

Qiu Zhen grinned, “Elder brother Fang, I think you’ll know who I am soon enough.” After saying that Qiu Zhen sped up shooting towards the stage at lightning fast speed, leaving Gan Fang behind. ‘Such speed!’ Gan Fang thought to himself as he sped up too.

Qiu Zhen jumped onto the stage trying to make a dynamic entrance, the crowd all had on cheerful faces and they couldn’t wait for the match to begin. When Qiu Zhen made his entrance the whole crowd of people roared, Qiu Zhen wasn’t that tall nor was he how they imagined him. When they probed for his cultivation many of them clicked their teeth, it was only at the first Dao realm.

“Fuck! We came here for this!”

“Seems like it was a waste, only the first Dao realm.”

“Brother Ye Fa, hurry and chop him into pieces, or torture him slowly either way is fine!”

Many of disciples in the crowd started yelling, they couldn't believe that a life and death match between a first Dao realm disciple and a seventh Dao realm disciple would take place. Naturally Ye Fa would win this, and they didn’t feel much pity for Qiu Zhen since he was the one who accepted his fate.

Gan Fang on the other hand was slightly surprised, he couldn’t believe the person he was just talking to was also the person who was fighting. “Ah, it seems he’ll die at such a young age.”

Ye Fa was talking to members of Death Blood before Qiu Zhen appeared, but instantly stopped once he landed on the stage. “Ah, Qiu Zhen I’m surprised you didn’t run away. Sadly Li Lan isn’t here to save you this time, hopefully you can put on a good show.”

An old man floated down from the sky, and took out a black piece of paper. “Inner disciple Ye Fa, and Inner disciple Qiu Zhen, you two are both in agreement for this life and death match correct?”

Ye Fa nodded his head, while he took out his black axe. Qiu Zhen nodded also.

“I will need both of you to put your signature and an imprint on this paper before you being, naturally once you do so no one can save you.” When the elder spoke, it seemed as if his words were directed at Qiu Zhen.

Qiu Zhen and Ye Fa both wrote their names down on the papper and left a blood imprint on the paper. Once they signed it the old man floated back into the sky and let black paper burned. Once it burned a transparent black barrier formed over the stage, and only two names were written on it. One belonged to Ye Fa, while the other belonged to Qiu Zhen. These two names that were on the barrier meant that only these two people could enter, and only those two.

Qiu Zhen took out his sword and took a stance, while Ye Fa coldly snorted at him.

“Qiu Zhen, you should have gave up your belongings to Ye Chen the first time he asked. Now i’ll have to stain my hands, and the face i’ll lose for killing you won’t be that great, but will affect me somewhat.”

Qiu Zhen’s eyes turned cold, “The only thing you know how to do is talk isn’t it?” When he spoke, it seemed as if his voice could freeze the wind, it sent a shiver down many disciples spine.

“Hpmh! Don’t blame me!”

Ye Fa took off, making countless afterimages heading straight towards Qiu Zhen with his axe raised. “Four Mountain Destruction!”

Qiu Zhen grinned as his legs pushed off the ground, his sword burst into blue flames while creating many images. “Sky Piercing Dance!”

Ye Fa’s ‘Four Mountain Destruction’ made countless ripples in the air almost as if it wanted to break into another dimension. Qiu Zhen’s ‘Sky Piercing Dance’ flashed towards Ye Fa many times making many sword images, almost as if the sword itself was dancing through the sky. Both of the disciples clashed under the watchful gaze of all the inner disciples.
