As per request by the poll I won't show you guys the war, but as the story progress' I will show you some things that changed and what happened to certain people.
Well then, we've reached a good end to our story. Ah the death of....never mind just read for yourselves.
Soaring Dragon Continent, Forest
Feeling his legs tense up, Qiu Zhen was ready to make a run for it. The herbs he could get another time, but he only had one life and he wasn’t willing to trade it over some herbs. In his previous life he had fought against a Red Demon furred lion, and their cultivation was at least the ninth level Dao realm.
Qiu Zhen at his current level couldn’t tell what level of cultivation this lion was at, all he knew was that it was way above his. He took a few deep breaths to ease his tension and stared at the lion seeing if it would make a move towards him.
The Red Demon furred lion glared at Qiu Zhen and the look in its eyes told Qiu Zhen that he wasn’t even a match. It slowly approached the body of one wolf and with it started eating the beast. One wolf was gulped down in two bites, if that was Qiu Zhen with his height it would only take one bite to finish him off.
Qiu Zhen didn’t want to stick around and his figure disappeared running out the forest and back up the mountain. However before his foot stepped out the edge of the forest, a red blur stopped him. The lion’s eyes told him that it wouldn’t let him leave. One must understand that a lion is naturally a ruling beast, just because it’s eating on something else doesn’t mean it’ll let another prey go.
Qiu Zhen didn’t know whether to laugh or cry in this situation, facing a beast whose strength was equal to an early stage Mystical realm cultivator, he stood no chance. Qiu Zhen knew that the only way to leave was to get past the beast in front of him, but none of his tricks or even god himself would help him. The only way for him to leave unharmed is if lady luck was on his side.
Swosh! Bang!
A black blur appeared and clashed with the lion causing it to be blown back 2 meters, while the figure was blown back 1 meter. Qiu Zhen looked at the figure and he became excited, the person in front of him was Lien Meili and she was in the Mystical Realm.
The Red Demon furred lion had blood dripping from its mouth, and it roared at the figure who attacked it. The roar was loud enough to cause a few rocks to crack, and trees to split. Lien Meili didn’t react to the beast but instead shot a motherly look at Qiu Zhen to see if he was alright.

When Qiu Zhen left the top of the mountain, Lien Meili was secretly following him to make sure he was safe. At the time when he fought the three demon bears, she was going to intervene but to her surprise he was able to come out on top. When he fought the thirty Black Fanged Red wolves, she was considering helping him out as well. He surprised her once again by beating them in his weakened state, and that wasn’t all she had seen him refine a pill in a split second.
The only time she actually acted was now, when he truly was in danger. A beast whose cultivation that was many times more than his, she felt he wouldn’t be able to beat him no matter what kind of trick he used. During the initial clash with the beast, Lien Meili found she had the upper hand.
Being at the middle stage of the Mystical realm, the lion was only at the early stage. Her cultivation and techniques would make prevailing over the beast easy. Lien Meili darted at the lion and her speed was ten times faster than Qiu Zhen’s. His eyes could not even keep track of her, not a trace could be found.
Lien Meili drew her dagger that was hanging off her hip, the weapon grade of this was Mystical. Mystical weapons in the hands of anyone could cut apart the leg of this lion like it was slicing through butter. The dagger was 1.5 feet long with a purple blade, the hilt of it was attached to a chain.
Brandishing the dagger, Lien Meili threw it at the lion and when she did it seemed as if the air distorted causing a small tear. The force behind the throw was enough to cause a small shock wave, but to the lion whose cultivation was at the early Mystical stage it had no effect.
The lion dodged the dagger and turned into a blur going after Lien Meili, thinking she was foolish to throw away her weapon. Bang! The speed of the dagger was quick and the chain attached to it could hardly be seen so when Lien Meili threw it, it seemed as if only the dagger was thrown. Once the lion dodged the dagger, Lien Meili put her qi in the chain forcing the dagger to change direction and it slammed straight into the lion, piercing it straight through it's back to its heart.
Qiu Zhen couldn’t feel the cultivation of Lien Meili, but ever since he entered into the Dao realm he felt as if she was close to Paragon level. Qiu Zhen wasn’t too off when he said that, she was only at the middle stage of the Mystical realm, which was close to reaching the realm of Paragons.

She looked at Qiu Zhen with a hint of joy, she could finally show off her skills to him and at least make him feel some sort of respect to her. She opened her small pink lips, “Qiu Zhen we need to talk”
“Lien Meili, if you hadn’t come when you did I believe I would have lost my life a hundred times, even if I had a hundred lives! Thank you!”
Qiu Zhen felt grateful to Lien Meili, not only did she raise him like her own, she also saved his life this time. He couldn’t do anything for her with his current cultivation, but he would always remember what she did for him.
Lien Meili sighed at the thought of what she wanted to say to Qiu Zhen. “Qiu Zhen, over these twelve years you’ve grown up a lot. When I mean a lot...I mean a lot, however the world is huge and I can’t keep you in these mountains forever. When I see you training so hard I know you won’t always stick around, and when I seen you about to die at the hands of this beast…”
A lone tear came out of Lien Meili's eyes at the thought of losing Qiu Zhen. “Sigh, Qiu Zhen I know you’ve always had something in your mind. However, as your mother I want you to attend school, I want you to have friends and make your own legacy. Therefore, i’ve decided that you should attend school.”
Qiu Zhen’s eyebrows twitched at the thought of going to school, and being bound by rules. His soul was old but his body was that of a twelve year old, he already attended school once and now he would have to do it again.
“Not just any school second or third rate school, it's a fist rate school that many hope to dream of entering. It's the Sky Serpent School!”
Qiu Zhen didn’t feel the need to actually attend any school, considering it wouldn’t be worth it, considering the fact he knew martial arts skills and secret skills. However, Qiu Zhen nodded his head signifying that he would attend, this was the least he could do, for the woman that took care of him.
Lien Meili’s eyes beamed bright with joy, and her mouth curled up. “Good, You have two years before the next entrance exam.”
-----------
Soaring Dragon Continent, Mt. Zu
In an instant two years have passed by since Lien Meili suggested Qiu Zhen attend the Sky Serpent school. In those two years Qiu Zhen hardly focused on his cultivation and instead focused more on his techniques, that's what he needed to survive and that would give him the strength he needed.
Qiu Zhen practiced the Sky Burning techniques, which consisted of all fire based attacks. He had five different attack moves he mastered to the peak, and two defense stances he mastered. For his movement he decided to master the Thunder Gods Step, which would make shock waves in the air causing damage to his opponents whenever he used it. His cultivation only jumped to the fourth Dao realm, but in return the skills he gained were great.
The cultivation world finally settled down after crowning a new emperor. The emperor who was crowned was Chi Chang the brother of the late emperor, and he has broken into the Immortal Realm making him the fourth person in history to achieve this. When Qiu Zhen got news of this, he knew that his goal at getting revenge would only get harder, but he didn’t get discouraged and he accepted the new challenge.
There were only two weeks left until the entrance exam for Sky Serpent, and Qiu Zhen was currently on his way out the door. Lien Meili offered to take him a day before, but Qiu Zhen knew that what he needed the most was experience. He hasn’t been in the world of cultivators for fourteen years, he needed to know what changed and what didn’t.
For a parting gift, Lien Meili gave Qiu Zhen a mortal grade sword, that was 1.5 meters long. It was weaker than a Mystical grade weapon, but it was better than nothing. Dressed in black clothing, Qiu Zhen pulled a hood over his head concealing his handsome features.
He glanced back at the house on top of the Mountain and sighed. ‘Lien Meili this is where we part, in the future if our paths cross I hope you won’t forget me.’ Onward Qiu Zhen went dashing down the mountain leaving only a still image of him.
On the ground wrapped in a white cloth was more than 5000 DayNight Pills that Qiu Zhen left with a note attached to it. He couldn’t do anything else for Lien Meili, but he left her a parting gift that would help her enter the realm of Paragons.
