Help me find errors/mistakes, thanks!

Five Dragon Emperor is a story that will be written like Xianxia novels, Xianxia novels are usually long and are about the MC training to the peak of cultivation, or very close to it.

Most Xianxia novels are 2000+ words per chapter, however i've seen a few novels containing words less than that, and this novel will be one of them.

Soaring Dragon Continent, Outside Emperor’s Palace

Outside the Emperor's Palace, it is highly usually guarded day and night however this night there are no guards in sight. Highly suspicious most people would assume, but considering the emperor’s strength you would have to be crazy to even step foot in the Palace.

At this moment, outside the palace, a black haired red eyed man was staring at the shadow of a man. There was sweat dripping all across his body, and he was breathing heavily. From afar if one were to look they would suspect that this person is an intruder who was being chased after from the palace. This was not the case, he is the emperor himself.

As his chest heaved you could tell that he was highly exhausted, exhausted enough that he could collapse at any moment. If it wasn’t for his will of not wanting to die then you can expect that he would fall. However, his eyes were fierce and cold, you can tell that he was looking to kill someone tonight.

Around him was a crowd of twenty-seven individuals who encircled him blocking all his escape routes.

“Chang Mu, give up! Hand over the five Dragon Pendant and you can return back to the palace!”

“Chang Chi, never would... I have thought you...would be the one to try... and kill me!”

“Brother, if one wants to be strong he needs to beat the stronger foe. If only you weren’t the one who picked up that heavenly treasure two weeks ago.”

Chang Mu clenched his hands tight, he knew there was no escape for him. The people who surrounded him were all at the top of their cultivation. If one were to pass by, they would feel terrified by the aura’s these people were emitting.

Paragons of Truth, the highest one could cultivate to before becoming a true immortal. On the Soaring Dragon Continent, there are at least five hundred who have cultivated to that realm. Those who cultivated to the Immortal realm was only three, and Chang Mu was one of them.

“Ha, you want this five Dragon Pendant, not in this lifetime! You dare use Six Demon Sealing poison on me to block my meridians! You couldn’t even face me as a man!”

Indeed, Chang Chi did poison his own brother blocking his meridians making him a mortal. Chang Chi himself was only at the Paragon of Truth level while his brother was an Immortal, there was no way he could kill him no matter how hard he tried. Poisoning him was the only way, they say take a dragon's powers away and he's nothing more than a giant lizard.

“Fine! I gave you a chance to give me the pendant but you foolishly choose to die.”

“Die? No, not by your hands.”

Chang Mu grabbed the pendant over his neck and tightened his grip over it. The five Dragon Pendant was truly a sight to behold, five Dragon heads, each one a different color circling around a jade gem that held power beyond anything in the world.

The surrounding people gasped at the sight of the five Dragon Pendant, drool slid down from their mouths. Even if they didn’t know what it was used for, it was something worth looking at. Chang Mu slowly raised his head, and he glared at them with arrogance. “You Chang Chi, my own brother wants to kill me to take away a treasure given to me by the heavens! I say NO!”

Chang Mu tightened his grip on the pendant using all his strength to crush the pendant. The once beautiful treasure that caused all this was now turned into silvery ash that floated away, leaving only the jade gem.

“Now lets see you try to take the pendant!”

Chang Chi’s eyes turned bloodshot red and cold. After finding out the effects of the five Dragon Pendant he urgently devised this plan to take it from his brother. If his brother wouldn’t hand it over, then he would kill him for it. One thing he didn’t know was the five Dragon Pendant was fragile, and it could break with the slightest pressure.

“CHANG Mu! You will not leave here alive!”

Chang Mu knew that he wouldn’t leave here alive, and if he did he would still die. He who reached the peak of cultivation turning into an Immortal, having an endless lifespan and became the emperor who united the seven kingdoms. He drank a poison that turned him back into a mortal, there was no use in him living again, even if he did get out of this situation.

The jade gem that he held in his hand lost all of its power, now it was just a gem that could only be sold. The real power was held in the five Dragon heads that surrounded the gem. Now that the five heads were gone, all the power they had disappeared also.

Grapping a dagger out of his chest pocket Chang Mu clutched it tight. “You will not escape from this unharmed Chang Chi. Once everyone knows that the emperor has been murdered by his own brother, you will be beheaded and your family will burn.”

“No one will ever find out!”

“Fine! Say no one will find out, but remember this well I will have my revenge. Maybe not now, not in ten years or even in this lifetime, but I will have my revenge!”

Chang Mu pierced his own heart with the dagger, but in his eyes was a resolution to make it out alive.

Chang Mu knew that when he died his soul would pass on into the next world, but he couldn’t accept that. Reincarnate into a world he didn’t know anything about, no! ‘I Must have REVENGE for all those who wronged me!’

The souls around his were being pushed by an unknown force, but Chang Mu didn’t follow that force. He made his soul go against the current and made his own path. ‘Just you wait Chang Chi!’

Pew! His soul shot off in the distance, towards an unknown land to him. Chang Mu might be the first person in history to go against the heavens and have his soul reincarnated into the same world.
