《NPC I want experience》Chapter 23 trying to learn new spells legally

As I headed back to the mages school with a laughing Kenya and a angry Thorn. I looked at Thorn “ I decided I needed to quickly increase my strength and move out of my dormitory. I need somewhere close to the magus school are there any thieves hideouts nearby?”
Thorn shook her head then her eyes glinted “Wait there is a old inn nearby its quite solid and is for sale. But there are a bunch of spice addicts living there.” I nodded the thieves guild was most likely running the place but they already hated me. “Right lets go.” We stopped off to buy a few bear traps and some nails and a few boards a hammer. Kenya looked at me in surprise “Why the bear traps and nails?” I shrugged “You will see.”
We reached the merchant shop who owned the inn. We found a golly looking fat man who nodded when i asked about the inn. “Its a wreck and the thieves guild moved in there so i can not do anything about it i will sell it to you for five gold. I want rid of it” I tossed the merchant the gold and took possession of the run down building. Thorn got to the building and ripped the door off its hinges. A giant fat near naked man ran up to complain. “This is my building i have permission from the thieves guild.”
Thorn head butted him there was a crack as the fat man flew across the air. I cursed “Is he still alive or did you break his neck?” Thorn reached over and grabbed the now deceased fat man and tossed him into a sack of holding. Thorn winked at Kenya “He should have looked better naked. Fat pig”
Kenya turned pale and puked. I looked at Thorn “You were careless all the loot from this place is mine.” Thorn grinned “Worth it i can still see that smirking judge. I just pictured his face over that fat jerks face.”I looked around “Ok go and toss any unwanted guests out. Remember i want the shirt off there backs.” Thorn entered the back rooms and came in with a screaming naked man and woman. She tossed them into the filthy alley where i heard a incredibly horrible squelch.
Kenya began to puke again “Oh god thats where the spice addicts use as a toilet. You just tossed them into a shit filled alley way naked.” Thorn grinned “Want to see how far they can slide” I shook my head “Forget it we do not have time.”
Thorn finished up throwing the spice addicts out and I had a pile of clothes and 35 gold coins. Thorn looked at the fancy dress one of the Spice addicts had left and tried it on. She glared at me “I am keeping it the womans shoes as well. How could that pig leave them in a place like this.” Kenya starred at Thorn “Did you have to strip those women of all there clothes? There going to be mocked you know that right?” Thorn ignored Kenya
I took a look around there was no more loot time to put down a couple of bear traps. Thorn began hammer the nails into the wood and made something that hopefully any would be thieves would kill themselves on. I turned to Kenya “Know any decent carpenters.” Kenya looked at her foot “I have a cousin with the carpenter class but she is apprentice”

I looked at the roof “I do not need a great job done but i want it done yesterday. I would also like furniture beds and some herb preparation equipment. We might as well make this our main base.
You up for it partner.” Kenya head bobbed up and down “I will not let you down” i tossed Kenya thirty gold coins we had taken from the Spice addicts. I decided to keep the last five to make up for the cost of the building. Thorn eyes were glowing and i just knew she was thinking of buying more spice addicts hang outs.
Kenya ran off to buy herbs and get her cousin to do the roof and the rooms upstairs. I looked around back at the small stables that had fallen to pieces. There were a couple of zoned out spice users Thorn had not bothered with as they had nothing of value on them. So i set a couple of summoned rats on them and watched them run off.
While heading back to my room at the mages guild to grab my stuff. I thought about those zoned out spice addicts. There clothes were tattered and horrible. One of them had a stain on his pants that looked like urine but spice was expensive. They might have had some gold hidden somewhere on there bodies. I decided i would force Thorn to check next time. I found Max was fighting again when i got back to the Mages Guild I gave him the nod. He smashed his opponent across the ring with a single stroke of his flaming sword.
Max walked over “Whats up?” I would have liked to have grunted but replied “The gig is up they fairly much know who i am so there going to realize who you are soon.” Max grinned and ripped off his status hiding ring. There were gasps from behind him. He looked at me “So are you going to show me what your third class is?” I shuddered internally monster breeder. If the church found out they would send a inquisitor for certain. Plus i was betting Max would mock me.
I shook my head “We need to set up somewhere more defensible. I purchased a small inn head over and clear out the local spice addicts. Oh I have put Kenya on the payroll she is a alchemist”
Max nodded “Good thing to your potions taste weird.” I growled “Your building up disease resistance and poison resistance with my potions” Max turned one of his training partners “Ronald you know that potion of mine you took Wrath brewed it”
I heard a scream “I was on the toilet for a week. I lost a stone you jerk” A giant in heavy duty armour approached me, Max laughed as I cast puddle and freeze ray just in front of Ronald feet. Ronald stood on the frozen pool and landed on his ass. I cast a bone prison on Ronald and decided to leave before he broke out the spell.
I left for administration office i needed my Library access changed so I could get some decent black magic books. The mage in charge of access Teressa was helpful. Teressa spat at me and shouted “You can go shove your access request up your ass we do not have those sorts of books here. Go to the black library if you want those sorts of books” I left a fuming Teressa comparing my father to a pig and left to get my stuff.

Max had my stuff ready to go when i meet him by the front gate. He had a couple of girls pack my few belonging away I asked his fawning followers about the black library. A cute red head answered “Its the dark cultist Library near Hog brewery but you would have to be a High Sorcerer or Necromancer or something to get access”
I stared at Max “Take the stuff to our new digs and set up in the stables. I am heading to the dark library lets see what they have on offer.” The dark library was a old run down warehouse. A old man waited just inside next to a row of reading booths. He looked at me and i summoned a undead rat on my hand.
The old man grinned and tossed me a book catalogue. I starred there were three books on Necromancy. There was also a copy fee. The librarian would have a copy made for a set fee. I pulled out my purse and ordered a copy of each of the necromancer books plus a couple for Max. Then i sat down and started to read.
The book of spell and spell notes were amazing but the real prize was a list of other services the dark cultists offered. I starred at the list of potions. There were some that could increase your maximum strength and endurance by one. Curses i had never heard of.
I walked to the Liberian “I would like to purchase some of the goods on the list. The potion to increase your maximum strength and endurance how much is it? Also the spell books listed where can i find a copy of them”
The Liberian nodded “Its easy to acquire the books but the potions are expensive and mere gold will not purchase them.” I released some of the effect of my amulet and allowed the Liberian read my first class arch necromancer.
The Liberian bowed his eyes glowing“A honour your lordship. You qualify for the full list I will show you a price list.”

I looked at the items and nodded. This was the jackpot. The Liberian grinned “I sell the dark books there are more available but you need to have earned contributory points. Contributory points are a kind of currency among the true followers of the magic path. ”
I nodded and pulled out a copy of the spirit necromancers spell book and some of the notes from the troll shaman. The librarian smile widened. “I already have a copy of the spirit Necromancers spell book. But I will buy the blood necromancer spell book for 2 gold or 5 contributory points. If you want access to a higher grade of equipment and spells you will have to offer more or wait until I get to know you. The Troll Spell notes are worth a lot less maybe 1 contributory point”
I thought about it i was a unknown. I really needed to access the better spell books. I could have offered to do a quest or two to prove myself but I wanted those extra spell books now.
I could either trade knowledge of my class Monster breeder or information or information on Thorns transformation. I pulled out a couple of sheets. The sheets listing thorns Status before and after her race and class increase. I heard a ping
Warning you are about to trade in dark knowledge. The gods are watching.
The librarian's eyes widened he must have got a pop up as well. I swallowed and pulled out my other notes on Lich and how to alter the spell that creates one from create lich to create elder Lich.
Warning the gods are watching.
I looked at the Librarian “I am going to pass you another sheet once you confirm the information on it i will want 15000 to 30000 contributory points and a cut each time you sell the information.”
The librarian pushed out his hand which was shaking and i passed on my notes. As he read his eyes widened and his whole body began to trembling. He quickly put them in a pouch he had around his neck and nodded. “It this is true. I can guarantee more than what is on the list. I can get you a legendary item and 10,000 contributory points. Once we verify the information i will have a complete set of spell books sent over free of charge. But for the moment you will only be given the 3000 contributory points”
I nodded i had three thousand point to spend. I want the potion recipe of endurance increase and one potion of added strength.
The librarian rubbed the spot where he was hiding my notes. “A pleasure doing business you may take the copy of the spell books your potions recipe and potion will be deliver tomorrow. Just let me know where.”

8 199HUD: Wargame (Sci-Fi GameLit)
★★★★★UNFRIGGENBELIEVABLE!!!!!! "HUD: Wargame is a sci-fi GameLit worth reading." -TienSwitch ★★★★★Rock-solid FPS GameLit. "Nic - the main character - is an ambitious, hyper-competitive perfectionist, and the story fortunately handles him correctly in that it does not push these traits too far." -Akaso ★★★★★This is a good one! "This is one of those stories where you read the first few paragraphs and can just tell that the author has the chops to tell a story. It's engaging and the rules are well thought out and clearly explained. The action is punchy and exciting. Anyway, read it." -HonourRae In the future, everything is a game. Even war. 18-year-old Nic Sigfried wants the high score. Virtually piloting a real-life robot, he'll face off against his peers with the help of his AI guidance system, RTIFIS. The prize? New worlds across the galaxy that are ripe for human conquest and terraforming. It sounds glamorous on paper, but this job might be more dangerous than he thought... HUD: Wargame is the first of a five-part sci-fi series featuring GameLit elements. HUD: Wargame contains some (simulated) violence and very sparing PG-13 profanity. Updates Monday-Thursday-Saturday.
