《NPC I want experience》Chapter 15 Stealing equipment

It was dawn when we got out the barrel. We woke the priestess who had fallen asleep on Tom shoulder and found ourselves surrounded by tired looking paladins.
I got out of the barrel and we headed to the exit before someone remembered we had stabbed Thomas with a garlic dagger to poison some vampires.
We got to the entrance to find a row of Mercenary looking at a pale fat woman. I walked over to the woman “We got caught in all night and i used a expensive Mana potion any chance we can claim the price of a top Grade mana potion back”
The woman gave me a look like i was apiece of garbage “Non at all so unless we have other business get gone” The priestess who we had saved the night before looked appalled and bowed to me “Thanks I am Jessica Lightstar i have to go now but if you ever need a priestess let me know. I just jumped seven levels” Shelly went over to a mercenary and asked some questions.
She ran back “There's a quest to search the graveyard for the vampires there low balling the quest reward.” I looked at the graveyard as Thorn pipped in “That vampire was a hundred plus years old at least old enough to have a small fortune in loot.”
Shelly nodded “We take the low ball offer and loot the entire place lets go. I am level 40 now and i want to get back to check my next class options”
Thorn looked at the disgruntled mercenaries “Let me organize the mercenaries. I will sound out the rouges and we can sweep the entire graveyard.” Tom paled “Wait what?” Thorn approached several of the mercenary leaders talked for a bit and moved on.
A few minutes all the mercenary teams approached the lady in charge and signed up for tomb looting. The team's spread out in units. Hounds were brought out to locate the Vampires nest.
Thorn organized the men into units. She gave each unit a set of target Tombs keeping a decent amount for us and a couple of thugs she hired to help us
The hounds found a black blood trail from the vampire almost at once. Then everyone spread out Thorn looked at the men
“Three hours only after that the actual fighting unit goes into the crypt.”

We moved from tomb to tomb respectfully opening the tombs and then checked each coffin with the utmost care not to damage them to much. Of course any loose valuables were snatched as was was anything else of value.
I was in charge of a group of five thugs who moved from tomb to tomb looting everything we could. We got threw twenty or so tombs when I called a end to the looting “Thats it all the other tombs are poor people tombs”
The men looked on glumly and I headed back. Thorn was looking fairly happy and i winked at her. Thorn put all the loot the thugs i had with me had not managed to pocket and put it in a pile next to the pile her thugs had looted.
Shelly and Tom soon came back. Tom was grinning “I knew where a couple of famous knights were buried i got there weapons.” Thorn nodded “I send Shelly after the merchants tombs she should have done better in terms of pure value it will also take her longer to get back here.”
It took Shelly almost another full hour to arrive back. She was humming “fifteen dead men on a dead mans chest” Shelly dumped her goods down. She had a lot more stuff then we did. Thorn nodded “Alright the four of our party choose two items from Toms pile you can choose one item from Shelly pile.”
Thorn looked at Tom “Choose eight items from Your pile and keep them. The rest of you throw dice highest gets first pick.” Tom pulled out magic looking weapons and the thugs rolled the dice and went to pick out goods from Shelly pile. When they were finished Thorn nodded and picked four pieces from her pile and four from mine. “Reverse the order from before the last picks first this time.”
The men picked there items. Thorn began to toss rings and loose jewellery into piles. Then she turned to the men “Pick one and lets go.” The men picked a pile each and thorn picked up the remaining piles.
Thorn looked at the men “Spread the word we all leave soon in a group.” Thorn looked at me “Lets check out that tomb with the vampire in it.”
We moved to the tomb with the vampire and thorn had two thugs smash a hole in the wall with sledgehammers. While they were doing that Thorn had a man run off to hire more mercenaries. Thorn paid them with a small gold coin she had looted from a tomb.

A group of four young paladin squires arrived. I tossed a sun orb into the tomb. Then the Four paladins rushed into tomb and hacked the vampire inside into pieces. Thorn thanked them and sent in a level 42 rouge thief named Kempfer. Kempfer found the hidden room almost at once. There was a walk way to a underground pit.
The vampires had nothing stored there except for some clothes and Sir Thomas goods. Kempfer snorted “they must have another hiding place in the graveyard. This was just the one the Vampire got to first. It must have got in the door and collapsed.”
Thorn nodded “Yeah this was not there central hide out well Thomas had the gold to pay everyone yesterday. Lets check if he had anything else.” i used identify on his goods
Bag of holding Quality good
Chain of office Quality good
Ring of Detection Allows user to see threw basic illusion
Amulet of ????
I starred at the amulet and focused
Amulet of concealment Effect ??? Effect ??? Effect ??? Effect ???
Kempfer snorted again “its a amulet of concealment. Perfect to hide something from a Paladins eye. Its worth as much as the rest combined so i will take the coins you take the rest.” This time Thorn snorted and tossed Kempfer the bag she had of various jewellery.
Thorn had the men gathered together and we all marched to the front gate and left. The woman in charge looked confused until Kempfer shouted to her “The Vampire is dead we are leaving we have our tokens you can find the vampire in the tomb with the broken wall. I would doubt there are any more traps in there but we are not checking for the lousy wage you paid us.”
Thorn had hired the men with the dogs to run a circuit around the cemetery just in case they could find where the vampires came from. They had no luck so thorn paid them and we ran off.
Shelly gave us our next order “Thorn head to the adventures guild with our bags of holding. Lets lets home grab our stuff and meet at the adventures guild.”
With Thorn weighed down by our bags of holding we headed back to our houses and then headed to the adventures guild. The guild master meet us and escorted us to our rooms on a side corridor of the adventures guild. I noticed to get to our rooms you needed to go threw the front of the guild.
As we meet up to discuss our good fortune I could tell the adventurers were starring at us with hungry looks on there faces.
Shelly glared at them and whispered “We have to be careful i am spreading out the jewellery we got in bribes to the guards. But the others know we came into a small fortune so best be careful for a while. We are going to have to hide our for a bit maybe head to the black market.”
A massive figure approached as a massive man sat down. He looked at us and nodded “Your just the sort I need. Down to business if you help me out I will block any investigation into that whole looting of the nobles graveyard. The nobles are blocking me from going after the vampires. So i am spreading the word. The vampires have decent loot”
Shelly looked at the massive figure “And your price?” The scarred massive man grinned “I just want a uneventful life. If you kill the vampires then there are no vampires to bother me. Just listen to a report i got. Those vampires have been collecting gold for decades and that gold has not been found yet. Heres the estimated size of the vampires loot.” Shelly looked at the few documents and i noticed she was sweating. I guess the vampires had a lot of gold. The guard grinned as he noticed the greedy look on Shelly face “Apparently those vampires you killed had a house on Silver lane. The house was a real nightmare but they regularly visited there friends in a small nearby village. The rest of the information I have on them is in this file hear.”
The massive man got up and left. Shelly looked threw the report and nodded “There was no haul of goods found on them. Of course the guards could have kept the gold but i think i would have heard about it. Lets head to this village and find our gold.”

Summoning America
Entirely cut off from Earth, the United States finds itself in a scientific impossibility: the entire country, including the continental landmass and separated states and territories, was transported to another world. Unlike Earth, this new planet boasts phenomena unknown to science. Magic reigns supreme in this new region of the universe, bolstered by the natives' own scientific progression. Monsters roam wastelands and dungeons, subsisting off unfortunate travelers, local fauna, and sometimes even entire towns! Ambassador Samuel Anders is tasked with contacting the various nations and entities of this new world. Despite his best attempts at diplomacy, the arrogance and hostility of the natives prove to be an unnavigable barrier. War is the only alternative. Eventually, fears surface regarding an ancient evil: the Ravernal Empire. How will the United States handle the threats of this new neighborhood? What magical wonders will its adventurous citizens find? This Summoning Japan inspired work will follow the United States as it is summoned to a New World. The story will begin with the United States’ initial encounter with the Rodenius continent. Although starting similarly to the original story, Summoning America will begin to diverge greatly as the war against the Lourian Kingdom comes to an end. For the context of this work, I expect that you have already familiarized yourself with the original piece, “Summoning Japan” also known as “Nihonkoku Shoukan”.

In The Maw Of The Gods
Synopsis Lilly Harper was always the type to keep to herself. She struggled to make friendships and so, she simply opted not to. That was why moving to the coastal town of Wilham didn’t bother her. She wasn’t leaving anybody behind and she certainly didn’t expect to be making any friends any time soon. However, when she starts hearing about the school’s “Magic Club”—a group of weirdos who claim that magic is real, she can’t deny that she’s slightly intrigued. Then without warning, she suddenly finds herself wrapped up with them. And what if they aren’t crazy? What if magic is actually real? And what if it’s because of that magic that something more powerful than they could ever conceive of is drawn to Wilham? I plan to follow a release schedule of Tuesday/Friday. Average chapter length will be 4,000 to 6,000 words and I will be using multiple POV's quite often. Also to note, while I am flagging the story with content warnings, I am only doing so because there are specific moments where it will be needed. Overall, the story will be relatively tame and I plan to put extra warnings at the beginning of chapters that it applies to. Thank you to everybody who decides to give my story a chance and I hope you enjoy it!
