Chapter Thirty-Five

I find the the Third Kazekage is leading the battle against the Hidden Leaf. The desert sand is soaked in blood of hundreds of ninja. The Third Kazekage is like a demon reaping the lives of anyone who dares challenge him. It looks as though there are almost no Jonin left on the Leaf's side.

The only person still managing to hold their own is Sakumo Hatake the man who is to become the Father of Kakashi. He is trying to draw the attention of the Third Kazekage in order to allow his fellow Leaf Ninjas to escape.

I watch from a distance when I notice my friend Might Dai dressed in his green jumpsuit surrounded by sand ninja. He suddenly erupts with a green aura while his skin becomes redder and veins begin bulging from his forehead.

These are all the tell tale signs he has opened several of the Eight Gates.

The Eight Gates are eight specific Tenketsu within the body that limit the flow of Chakra to a safe and manageable limit. By forcing one of the gates open reduces the limit until if all eight are opened the user becomes insanely strong.

The downside of this technique however is that it puts humongous strain on the body and opening the Eighth and final gate will result in the death of the user. As such this technique has been labelled as a Kinjutsu or Forbidden Technique.

Might Dai begins moving with such incredible speed that the sand ninjas are struggling to keep up. His use of Taijutsu is even more incredible than I remember it being.

He jumps high into the air and comes down landing a heel kick to the head of a sand ninja with such force his body shoots beneath the surface of the sand.

The other ninjas see this and become concerned but I can tell that Dai is struggling to keep up with the demand placed upon him. If I had to guess he has opened more gates in this moment than he has ever done so in the past.

I use my Byakugan and can see the flow of Chakra within him is erratic and causing many internal injuries as he has not prepared his body enough for this strain.

The sand ninjas to their credit aren't retreating which means Dai's situation will only get worse as it goes on.

The other Leaf ninjas have managed to escape safely thanks to Sakumo Hatake. The only one left behind are Hatake who is being toyed with by the Kazekage and Dai who was encircled by Sand Ninjas.

While I no longer consider myself a citizen of the leaf I do however consider Dai to still be my friend as such I stop remaining neutral and go save my friend.

Just as Dai is about to collapse I appear before him with his body landing on top of mine. I then teleport near the Konoha medical camp.

As his gates close and his Chakra reverts to its usual flow his body begins to spasm and twitch as the muscle are damaged from overexertion. The build up of lactic acid is so much that his body is screaming in pain.

Dai however looks at me wearing my crow mask wondering who I am. I quickly take it off and show him a reassuring smile. He is shocked when he realises its me but quickly loses conciousness.

I then teleport back to the battlefield as I intend to take advantage of the situation. Just as the Kazekage sends a huge cone of iron sand to skewer Sakumo he becomes distracted by my copper sand which grabs onto his feet from below.

Sakumo seeing the distraction took advantage of it and retreated as fast as he could.

I then begin pulling the Kazekage below the surface of the sand into a cube shaped area being supported by my Wood Release. All of this happened in less than a second.

The Kazekage was unable to break free as my copper sand is more dense than his iron sand.

I noticed that he has far finer control over his iron sand during his battle than I do with my copper sand, a prime example of this would be the shapes he manipulated forming sharp stabbing weapons and round shields during his battle with Sakumo Hatake.

So I just used the brute force method in capturing him relying on the element of surprise and using so much Senjutsu Chakra enhanced copper sand that it doesn't give him the chance to put his fine control to use.

As soon as the Kazekage appeared within the cube shaped space I activated Body Snatcher. I was amazed how much Chakra the Kazekage had within his body even after having a battle against the Leaf Village.

I was just about to start the Auto Copy procedure when I noticed another new option. My Body Snatcher must have levelled up again. This option gives me the ability to leave a a small command within the brain of those whose body I have taken over.

It would seem that this command must be followed under all circumstances. I really could cause a few nasty little problems for people if I put this to use.

I however didn't have time to experiment with that as the timer was still ticking down so I began the Auto Copy and returned to my body. I used teleport to exit the cube below the ground before the Kazekage escaped and I backed up his data.

I was incredibly happy as I had now managed to completely copy the data on every current Kage of this era.

After I had completed my objective I return to Foosha Village for a while and relax with my family. I also needed some time to train and familiarise myself with these new abilities, as although I know how they work there is a difference between my body and those who I copied the techniques from so there is always a small adjustment period when gaining new abilities.
