《Empress' Evolution》118. Hero IV

Epic-Tier monster numbers in trillions in this Universe. There was nothing special about them in the broader view of things.
However, there were a few that were outside of standard conventions. Some evolve to become a unique variation of their species, so rare that not even a thousand of them exist.
These beings were hard to come by, several thousands of years before they could come into existence. It could be said that a lot of them have to have the planets align. The stars and fate have to bend for them to come into existence.
These beings were so rare because their existence throws the delicate balance of the Universe into chaos. They are rare beings; they could either be humans or daemons… extraordinary existences that stand atop the rest.
These beings would become Heroes, Daemon Kings, Lords, Legends, or even Mythical Beings.
They all rise to become great existences… and Dhampy was given the right to exist in this manner thanks to Lilith. Standing right there and now facing the Black Devil, the Wendigo, under-leveled and with a time limit, Dhampy was relatively calm.
Skills:
Blood Right — Mana usage of Blood Skills will become zero.
Enhanced Blood Manipulation (S) — Blood Manipulation becomes limitless without mana hindering you. A stronger version of Blood Manipulation.
Blood Chains (A+) — chains formed from blood; the more blood used, the stronger and longer it becomes. Its effect varies for every blood.
Blood Enhancement (A+) — your body increases in terms of strength.
"So… this is the Lord's Cloak? It's not bad."
The blood shards shattered and covered the area, and with a simple movement, the shadow increased the efficiency of her skills, movements, and mana… even her strength increased.
Her dark hair changed and turned crimson, and the black cloak was the same… for the next 114 seconds, Dhampy could use this form. This was actually the first time she was using this form as she had not even tested it before but, Dhampy knew how to use it to its fullest.

The Black Lord's Cloak was an Artifact directly related to the Blood Lord. It was her personal tool that's etched in her own genes and history. It came with her evolution, crafted from the mana of the world… it was a living artifact.
BUCHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!
The Wendigo had only gotten to regroup its mind. But Dhampy was already right in front of it, crouching, with her fists wrapped with chains, "Penta Art — Earth Fist — Pike."
SWISH!
The bones cracked, and the internal organs almost ruptured. The force pierced the body, but the Wendigo fell on its knees from the pain it was afflicted with.
Dhampy raised both hands.
BAM!
And crushed both of the Wendigo's shoulders.
The slight image of a monsterized man could be seen from the Wendigo's visage. A human, he was still, but the branching horns, the pale bluish skin, and the darkness wrapped his limbs were already beyond human scope… she was not scared of him. Instead, she found hope.
'The darkness… I wonder if I could use it to restrict my own? Could I…' Dhampy knew she was dying. The darkness in her was diminishing, and the catalyst was nearing its limits, 'But… if I could have other people's darkness… what if?'
84s
Holding the Wendigo by its neck with her left and using the right, Dhampy embeds her hands-on bleeding chest, 'I can live.'
No one wished to die, not even Dhampy, who was taught to accept fate.
If this was the past, she would accept her end… but, right now… she couldn't. Now, with this life, she had something; she was not empty.
Her own darkness revealed itself and seeped into the wounds.
A wry smile blossomed from her passive face. Returning to her most basic of emotions, Dhampy could not hide the elation from her face. Joy at the fact that there was a chance
“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!” The Wendigo’s screech echoed. The pain from having its existence ripped apart.
Hope… there was hope for her to live. The darkness that was leaving her body grew stronger, "Give it all to me!"

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! @#$!# @@#$ LET! ME! GO!”
BOOM~
Frost extended outwards devoured Dhampy as the Wendigo lost itself to the pain. Its broken shoulders quickly repaired itself; it swung its claws.
BAM!
"YOU! DARE! ATTEMPT! TO! DEVOUR ME!? INSOLENT!"
The Wendigo roared in defiance of Dhampy's existence was a roar. It could feel the intensity she held, but it, too, was a unique being. It was outside of the Creator's or this Reality's scope of understanding. The Black Spirit inside the roared through the Wendigo's mouth, "Know your place! Black Bood! You are beneath me! YOU ARE NOTHING TO ME!"
The being within, the darkness spoke through Wendigo. It took over the mind and actions of the monsterized human, 'Complete synchronicity and the Black Spirit wins the tug of war. For him to a compatible vessel, wait… is he the one they lost from thirteen years ago?'
67s.
Dhampy, however, could not care less, "Black Blood? Is that how you see me as? How laughable… well, no matter how you see me as the end would remain the same. You, dead, underneath my feet… with me devouring you…."
"INSOLENT!"
BOOM!
The Wendigo began dashed forth; frost was left behind with every step. The Wendigo's synchronicity shot up, increasing its strength multiple times over.
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
Dhampy stood there and fired out blood bullets to the Beast. But all it did was tickle the Wendigo.
"Blood Curtain."
Freeze!
"GET OUT OF MY WAY!"
CRASH!
From behind the blood curtain of blood was a ball of black flames.
"AHH!"
With it acting as cover, the Dhampy already got in position. She planted her foot on the ground, her body lowered to an astonishing degree.
"Do you think that would work? Do you take me for a fool!?" The Wendigo already saw her do this previously; it learns fast, already formulating the plan it needed to live. It turned its frost-covered claws at Dhampy, "DIE!"
"What a fool," Dhampy spoke, uninterested, she swung her fists, and the Wendigo was ready to intercept—
Clang…
—the sound of two metals striking each other echoed. Around the Beast's ankles, it wrapped, pulling him from behind; every form of defense failed.
The Wendigo's body began falling over at Dhampy, "Do you think I'll do the same trick twice…."
BAM!
Dhampy's fist ran through the Wendigo's abdomen.
'Finally, it's done.'
Dhampy sighed, for even she thought she would be killed by the Wendigo. If the Wendigo had just further synchronized and called down the Black Frost, then this fight would have been the complete opposite.
BZZ!
~Dhampy, are you there?~ Lilith connected to Dhampy.
~Ah, Priestess, yes, I am... I just finished a fight and was just about to report back. I have secured the safety of the human.~
~I see, good work. Are you still able to move? I need to ask you to search for someone; you don't need to fight it; I just need you to tell me its location.~
Dhampy began absorbing the Wendigo's blood, ~I am currently revitalizing myself, but I should be able to move in a minute.~
~I see that is good. Then, I need you to go to the location of the Towering Black Glaciar. I need to find who did it in accordance to the Goddess' Will.~
~....~
~Dhampy? Was it too tall of a job?~
~Ah! No... it is just that...if Boss means the one who controls the Black Frost, then I already found him.~
~That's great, then tell me where it is and~
~However, there's a problem, Boss, there's a problem...~
~What is it?~
~...~
Silence prevailed as the Wendigo twitched as it quickly lost more blood by the litter.
~ I punched a hole in its stomach.~
