《Empress' Evolution》93. To Battle

Cerberus was smiling as it listened to the fools get brainwashed by a literal child. It was then that it felt eyes directed to it; Cerberus caught sight of dozens of young Werewolves looking at him with great interest behind their eyes.
"Three Doggy…" one of them mentioned with a broad smile. They clapped in amazement.
'How irritating…' Cerberus didn't want its nap time to be disturbed.
It moved its head to the side, and the rest of the cubs followed suit.
Curious, Cerberus moved his head to the other side, and the cubs followed him once more.
'Oooooh….'
Cerberus found something to keep its attention.

Inside the Werewolf Leader's tent were Lilith and the rest talking regarding the matter of the Meat Crystal with everyone.
Forming a circle, they bounced off ideas regarding the nature of the Two Heads and the location of their Tribe. But, despite having a brainstorming session, only two were talking.
The Werewolf Leader and Lilith were the only minds working. As for the rest, they were either impressed and making "oh" sounds or just listening.
"So, the Two Heads are a race of Pseudo-Giants? Big body and rather dumb but has the instincts of a great fighter… they sound rather formidable." Lilith did not think so, 'This sounds easier than I thought.'
The Werewolf Leader nodded; then she saw Lilith bring out a parchment made of beast hide, "What's that?" she asked, bewildered as to what kind of item that was.
"This is a Map; used to make a detailed illustration of the area. Do you not use them?"
"Us Wolves can mark our territory and memorize our surroundings. We have no need for a map." She said proudly.
'Just like a dog, I supposed.' Lilith thought to herself, "...is that so, well, this is something that I used to know what kind of terrain and territory I will have my people fight. We need something like this to minimize the damage that we receive and maximize our advantages so that we can claim a flawless victory."

The Werewolf Leader said nothing but agreed to her word. She was once again amazed by the child before her.
On the parchment was the premade illustration Luna had created. The was according to the Map provided by the HNP she seized from a Hunter.
Captured by satellite, it was a reasonably comprehensive map. But the minute details would be added by the Hunters.
No map was perfect; such was the general reason why [Scouts] was needed.
Lilith then pointed at the Eastern Area of the Map, "We are currently here."
Lilith used the charcoal she had with her to mark out a single location and then showed it to the Werewolf Leader, "Sister Leader, please, point at the place where your territory extends and where the direction of the Two Heads' Tribe."
The Werewolf Leader looked at the Map for quite some time; she even rubbed her chin, and only after deep deliberations did she decide to speak, "I do not know."
Like how a high-school student pretending to know the answer to keep their pride, the ending for the Werewolf Leader was the same —she wasted everyone's time.
Lilith sighed inwardly, "Please, just... make a quick approximation. Give me something—anything, that can help us locate them, a general direction, perhaps?"
Like expert examinees who could pass their tests with only taking guesses, the Werewolf Leader trusted her instincts and pointed at a location, "This should be the right place… though I am not entirely sure, it is there. But their Tribe should be or near the area."
Lilith looked at the Map and then creased her brows as she noticed something odd, "Isn't this place near her village…."
'That can't be… the village couldn't be anywhere close to their place... right?' Lilith was sure of this, 'If the Two Heads are as aggressive the Werewolves make them out to be, then they should have attacked us already… but not such thing had happened so far.'

Lilith was left confused; then, she heard a notification going off on Luna's HNP, "What is it?" Lilith asked.
Luna relayed the message to Lilith, "It is from a Shadow Troop watching over the surrounding area of the village. It would seem that they have found four carcasses of a daemon with two heads mutilated near our vicinity. The daemons of the same race who towered for 3 to 4 meters were observed approaching the village in large droves. They are battle-ready, they said."
"Two-Heads!" The Werewolf Leader said with red eyes. Her fangs began to show as her anger peaked.
Lilith saw these and kept an inner delighted smile.
"It would appear that they are trying to antagonize us. We are fated to fight together, after all, Sister Leader. I am heading back home to face these scourges; what about you?" Lilith asked with ease.
"We are fighting!" The Werewolf Leader announced and then went out in haste only to stop at the first step and ask, "What the hell is happening here?"
As soon as she took a step outside, the young ones that had just regained their energy were all sitting before a three-headed dog. All of them had respect apparent in their eyes.
Cerberus was being stared at by the younger Werewolves and raised one of its front paws. The children copied his movement, and as it found this act entertaining, Cerberus raised his other paws and then hind legs and had every child follow.
It showed its tongue, and the children copied did the same. Cerberus laughed and leaned over downwards.
BAM! A loli dropped kicked it from behind.
"Don't do anything inappropriate when you know the children are copying you!" Lilith's young voice echoed.
"You, what are you doing to the almighty me!? You dare strike the mighty Cerberus when I am enjoying myself!?"
BAM!
Lilith hit the back of its head with her dainty hands, "It's funny but not right now, you fool of a dog! Do you want to anger the adults!? What would you do if you set my plan back to months because of incurring their disgu-oh dear, they are doing the same..." Lilith whispered her awestruck expression.
Lilith looked around and found some of the adults quietly retracting their tongue back into their mouths,
The Werewolf Leader had felt like it stood at the top of the Canis Species Food Chain.
Wolf, a species known for its proud, steel-like bond with their pack. They hunt as a group yet associated with aloofness. They were strong as a pack and vicious when alone; they bow to no one they see weak and are said to be the predecessor of dogs.
These claims were indeed valid, both scientifically, but it would appear that it was also the same [Mythically] speaking.
The odd sight befuddled Lilith and created an awkward atmosphere around the Tribe because of Cerberus' act.
Lilith stood adjacent to the Werewolf Leader, and as she disregarded what they just saw and what they were doing, she raised her hands and amplified her voice with mana, "To Battle!"
"To-TO BATTLE!" The Werewolf Leader backed her to the best of her ability.
