A tune plays as my fingers dance across the keys

Lightly does the music dance

Softly does the music whisper

Loudly does the music erupt

For eternity I have played

Where I am, I do not know

Why I'm here, I do not know

The music stops as I consider these questions

I stand and realize that I have forgotten

But the music comes once more and I sit

I feel as if my life has been completed, what remains playing out the tale

A soft tune as life begins

An excited riff as the soul matures

Joyous crescendos as love is found

Thunderous tones as hardships strike

Calm notes as happiness is fulfilled

Finally, a diminuendo as life ends

And so, here I now play
