The next day everyone had already fully recovered and gathered in the entrance hallway. In a group were all the Pathwalkers. Some were chatting quietly others were nervously looking around hoping nothing like yesterday would happen again. The nobles who survive lost their arrogant looks, seemingly understanding that it would be the end of them. The once slaves withdrew their rage and decided to move forward. The fat were rubbing their stomachs, wanting to eat but they remembered the feeling of never satisfying their hunger yesterday and immediately forgot about their hunger and looked to the front.

At the front were rows of Keepers standing like unmovable bricks. They were orderly fashioned unlike the mob of Pathwalkers. At the front were Alesia, Iohanne and a single male. His hair was was white and had a similar look to the White Tiger Lord. Even while being the top three of all the Keepers they weren’t looking around and were just a still as the rest. At that moment a door suddenly opened.

Walking out from the doorway was the White Tiger Lord. His shirtless appearance allowed all of the Pathwalkers to see his bulky body. Not a singly muscle wasn’t bulging and the veins were looking to explode from within. His hair fell on on his shoulders and continued to flow down his back. His expressionless face was intimidating and the worst was when he made eye contact with a few of the PAthwalkers. They immediately fell down on one knee with a single glance. It was like a sovereign looking over his subjects. But the White Tiger didn’t redraw his Aura and only continued to look around at the Pathwalkers, but the Pathwalkers avoided eye contact seeing their fellow friends fall down.

“The other day can be said to be your blessing. Many of you should have either died, or would die in the future from the Lightning of Sloth. However, your luck was immense and because of the actions of one person you all managed to pass that test.”

Everyone looked towards Owen, but Owen used his blindness to his advantage and pretended to not know that anyone was looking towards him. It was no secret that he was blind and seeing that he didn’t react everyone face the White Tiger once again. The White Tiger on the other hand wanted to curse out loudly and tell everyone that even though Owen was blind he could clearly tell everyone was looking at him, but he didn’t and spoke up once again.

“That was your luck. I have no right to take it away from you. However I do have the right to give you an even harder test. This can be said to be the test that fails the most candidates. You won’t become Sinners. Instead failure will simply lead to death. Now is your choice. Remain or leave. The doors to my Pavilion will always be open to those who wish to test themselves.”

After that the White Tiger left from where he came not paying attention to the sudden burst of whispers among the Pathwalkers. He didn’t care if people survived, as living was up to them and them alone. To be a Pathwalker they must make their own decisions and choose the place they will die. This was a path they would walk by themselves. Whether that path led to a cliff, was something only that person would know.

The chatter became louder as people tried to compete with talking over the others, some were deeply worried for their lives. Others like Owen, and Rauf didn’t even flinch. They already prepared themselves a long time ago. They wouldn’t back out in the face of death now. At this moment the man that looked similar to the White Tiger roared out causing all the Pathwalkers to become silent.

“Listen up! Those who wish to continue walking, follow me. The others will stay here and listen too Alesia and Iohanne. Let’s move.”

The young looking version of the White Tiger looked as if he didn’t like talking much as his sentences were concise and contained a few awkward pauses, but none the less he continued to do his work diligently as he walked left of the Pathwalkers to another door. The majority of the Pathwalkers followed, they were little minnows in a big ocean that didn’t know the meaning of fear. Some would regret their decision while others even if they died would smile at the end.

--------------

After walking through the doorway Owen was met with a large room. This room was actually closer to looked like a new world, as he noticed that there were three colours. There was naturally the green, however this was the green of trees and the huge amount of grass and land that covered the area. On the other hand there was a sky inside the building that was completely red. Finally in the middle existed was a large lake. It could easily be over a kilometer in diameter, but Owen was more surprised to see a giant pillar of ice in the middle. He wasn’t sure as to what this ice pillar was but he could see the heavy blue colour wrapped around it. Like Owen everyone's attention was focused on the giant ice pillar in the middle of the lake. They could feel the Essence coming from the Ice pillar and they wanted nothing more than to use that to channel more Essence from. After all not everyone was like Owen who breathed in Essence at a constant rate.

The young White Tiger then stood in front of the lake and gave a loud explanation.

“For now, let me introduce myself. I am Balan. To pass this test you need only to arrive at the ice pillar in the middle. But I will give you one warning. This is the Wave Lake, and it will test your willpower. Struggle hard fellow Pathwalkers.”

As Balan stopped speaking he turned around and sat facing the ice pillar not paying attention to what the others did. Knowing fully well that he had no intentions everyone started to spread out along the lake shore. Everyone was hesitant to make the first move into the lake, but Owen wasn't. He was slower than the rest arriving to the lake shore, only because he was calming walking with steps of perfect distance each time. Rauf walked beside Owen, but his steps were clumsy as he was until getting used to his smaller body. When the two of the stepped into the lake, that was the start of the test.
