《Flame-Eyed Immortal》Chapter 38

The White Tiger knew it wasn’t the time to ask questions and roared at all of the stunned Keepers to get into action.
“What are you fools doing make sure they get treatment! Throw any Ferals into the boundary, any of the other sinners that don’t revert can be throw into the Sinner’s Cage.”
“Yes Lord.”
The Keepers bowed and all answered at the same time, after they responded they turned into blurs quickly rushing to the nearest Pathwalker. Pulling their heads out of the walls or force feeding them pills to heal their injuries. The Ferals were grabbed by the dozens as the Keepers immediately left the Pavilion with them, soon throwing them into the Boundary.
Alesia and Iohanne were some of the highest in the hierarchy of the Keepers so they didn’t move. They had already down their parts in the first test, but even still they both rushed to Owen’s side and gave a complicated look towards Owen, who at this moment was smiling while unconscious.
“He definitely did it on purpose.”
Iohanne said seriously. On the other hand Alesia laughed coquettishly as she held her stomach.
“Truly he is an interesting one. Let’s help him sister.”
“Mmm.”
Iohanne rolled her eyes at her sister’s remark but she didn’t argue and helped him out of the crater he made. Iohanne was about to put a pill into his mouth when someone appeared out of thin air. As the two sisters turned to face the appearance of Kovinth they bowed and wore expressions of admiration.
“Lord Sun Dragon.”
They bowed slightly. Kovinth didn’t bother with formalities and quickly asked with a hint of worry in his voice.
“Is he alright?”
“He has some slight bruises Lord.”
Kovinth nodded happily and then grabbed a pill about to put it into Owen’s mouth when another person appeared. Kovinth suddenly feeling a chill behind his back stopped and slowly with huge amounts of reluctance turned. There he saw Osena, smiling happily at him.

‘That is a terrifying smile. And I don’t even know what I did, that’s what's even more scary.’
Kovinth thought to himself as he looked at Osena’s current ice cold eyes. She then spoke to him telepathically.
“It’s one thing to spoil your disciple, but it’s another to help him in the Pavilion by giving him a pill like that. I’ll let the Little Light Rock pass as technically it isn’t a weapon nor is it a defensive artifact. But this is as far as it goes. Don’t forget that we must follow rules even with our disciples.’
Osena gave him a serious look. There was no longer the look of love she usually held, but the look of a woman diligently doing her job. Although she acted differently around Owen and Kovinth she was still the Overseer of this planet’s Pathwalkers. Her duty was still the top priority even over matters of love.
Kovinth sighed as he nodded. Even he thought it was a bit overkill to give a pill of this quality to Owen for such light injuries. But what could he do he didn’t have those pathetic pills that the Pavilions gave, it was also his only disciple worry flashed through his eyes every time he was hurt. He was afterall the god who couldn’t even remember how to save a drowned person because he was so flustered At this moment two more people appeared behind Osena. The Rebirth Snake slowly walked towards Rauf as she grabbed him forcefully pulling him out in one fell swoop.
Alesia and Iohanne shivered at how painful that would be for a regular Pathwalker, Osena ignored it and her eyes had already turned lovestruck again, Kovinth was still looking worryingly to Owen and lastly the White Tiger was crying to himself not only because he was completely ignored, but because the hall was completely destroyed.

“...... I feel like I’m getting too used to waking up after being unconscious….”
Owen muttered as he casually sat up as if it was a normal everyday occurrence. When he woke up he was greeted with a sweet voice.
“Ah, good morning do you remember me?”
“How could I forget your voice Lady Alesia.”
Owen bowed slightly to Alesia after hearing her sweet voice again. He never felt bad even before he found out that Alesia done it because of Kovinth’s order. In fact the main reason why Alesia came was to apologize. She felt bad and was hoping she didn’t affect his heart at all. But seeing that his expression didn’t even twitch she felt better.
“Well, you seem fine, you’re one of the first who woke up, I’ll take you to the dining room so you can eat. Your friend should be there as well,”
“Really? Well I’ll have to trouble you then Lady Alesia.”
Alesia giggled at how respectful Owen was to her as she turned and started to walk away. As she did she slightly turned her head just so she could see Owen in her peripherals and spoke.
“Please call me Alesia, as we are already fellow Pathwalkers.”
“Then I shall thank you Alesia.”
Alesia nodded happily and gave a light skip as she started to show Owen the way to the dining room.
