This chapter is the chapter that lets you decided whether or not you're going to like this series. Like I said previously, my goal is to fuse Western and Xianxia together while taking the bad points out (revenge arrogant antagonists etc) and leaving the good in (OP characters huge world). Well here you go hope you enjoy this~
“Young Lady, I might be so rude as to ask whether you are a God?”
Headmaster Dreue spoke out lowly. He was as tense as everyone else in room, after all the pressure she emitted was also felt by him. The responsibility to speak for the temple rested on his shoulders. As such he finally regained his composure enough to spit out a single sentence. Hearing the headmaster speak the woman in red walked forward softly. With each step the pressure was increasing, but suddenly as if noticing the pain of everyone around her she was startled and spoke up.
“Oh, my apologies fellow Pathwalkers, I forgot redraw my Aura.”
She bowed lightly once again, although her words might sound sarcastic at first, her gaze caused everyone to feel relieved. At this point everyone had realized she was not doing it on purpose. Although she ignored the question from the headmaster, it was only because she wished to approach closer before responding. But she was a little late in figuring out why everyone was in so much pain.
At the same time she also gave Owen a glance. Simply because she knew that he wasn’t bothered by her Aura at all. But upon noticing he was blind, she immediately knew why and continued to walk forward. Everyone got up from their seats and split into two groups, allowing her to walk straight to the headmaster. When she arrived she gave another slight bow of respect and answered him softly. Just barely loud enough for everyone to hear, with each syllable she spoke sung a beautiful tune. Naturally all the men were bewildered, but even the women were unable to feel a slight attraction to this tranquil voice.

“I, Alesia, have come to fulfill my duty as envoy of the God, White Tiger. I have come to bestow you how to cultivate as a Pathwalker and the rules of the new world. Would you like to listen now? Or would sometime later work?”
Alesia spoke humbly. Although the people in front of her were much weaker than her, she was not someone who looked down on others. After all she too was once as weak as they were. And only because she had this train of thought was she able to become an envoy. The headmaster didn’t even need to think for a moment before quickly nodding agreeing with her proposal to explain.
Alesia gave a light smile and then turned around facing all of the numerous disciples and elders alike. As she did she spoke gently and started to move her hands elegantly through the air.
“We have already looked through your world, and naturally chose the best method for cultivating for everyone. Each different island will have a different cultivating method. Naturally this one represents the White Tigers. Before I show you I have to tell you of the Laws governing Pathwalkers.”
She paused in her explanation giving time for everyone she steady themselves. It was clear b the meaning by pausing that this was incredibly important. When the disciples saw their concentration reached its limits. As for Owen, the moment she first spoke he was already concentrating on her to the best of his ability. Alesia then inhaled as she slowly looked back and forth between everyone finally seeing that everyone was prepared she spoke.
“All Pathwalkers are those who fight the wills of the heavens. We are those who wish to stand beside the gods who created us. However, although we can deny their wills, we cannot deny their laws. But these laws only apply to us Pathwalkers and not of mortals. You might as why, but be patient young ones. I will explain shortly.”

She gave a slight wink and the hearts of everyone froze. It wasn’t because everyone was entranced but because she noticed some disciples were impatiently waiting to ask questions. She only needed a wink to calm everyone once again.
“There exists seven sins, that we as Pathwalkers can commit. They are: Luxuria, Gula, Avaritia, Acedia, Ira, Invidia and Superbia. There exists many things in this world that you will be tempted by or gathered emotions for. However walking the Path is so simple matter and you must first discard these human desires from your bodies. Now then, although I told you the laws I simply did not tell you the result of breaking these laws. After all if I don’t you might blame me when you commit them right? Hehe.”
Alesia laughed coquettishly. Soon after she spoke again.
“If you rape, you will forever be impotent and never be satisfied. If you become a glutton no matter how much you eat you’ll never be full. If you become greedy, all your possessions will become dirt in your eyes. If you harbour hatred, you will turn into a Feral. If you become envious of others your Path will forever become blocked. If you become too arrogant, naturally the only result will be your own downfall. As such this one can not really be considered on the same level of the other sins. But it is known by all the Pathwalkers, that arrogance only leads to their downfall.”
She explained each one with a single sentence, and although the others still had questions they didn’t dare voice it. Not until Owen, thinking back that she previously mentioned seven but never explained the seventh, did he speak up.
“What about the last sin, the sin of Acedia?”
Hearing Owen speak up, Alesia turned to face him. She was hoping someone would have the courage to speak up, but she never thought out of all the people including the First Warrior Gerboud, or even the First Monk Tiebuat, it would be Owen to speak up. She immediately had a good impression of his courage and slightly smiled before answering him.
“The sin of sloth can be said to be the harshest. This is because the moment you stand on the Path you can never leave it. One must always strive to become stronger, and can never be complacent. If one can not reach the top, and decides to live a happy lifestyle they will be struck by the Lightning of Sloth. From the day you stepped on you denied the heavens wills. You do not get the chance to back out halfway.”
