Nothing to say enjoy~!~
“Headmaster!”
A big burly man stood up from his seat. Owen recognized this voice as the man in charge of the warrior division. His name was Gerboud, the First Warrior. He was full of a pride, but this was backed up by his overwhelming strength. Everyone knew that this man wanted nothing more than to make a name for himself. Something that all others in the nameless temple had long stopped caring for, for generations. But the first headmasters never forbade one from making a name for themselves. Those who wished to leave could do so. If they ever returned they would forever be banned from leaving again. After all the nameless temple was a place to seek isolation and rest.
Seeing Gerboud speak, Dreue had already felt a headache coming, but he still gestured for him to continue to speak.
“Thank you headmaster. I believe with this chance, we should take our disciples and test our strength. Who knows maybe we will all become god?! Then we can expand our temple and create a temple that will never age for centuries to come!”
Gerboud knew that speaking only for fame would not be enough to incite the hearts of the older generation. He could easily sway the young ones but that was because they were hot blooded. What young man didn’t wish to make a name for himself? That was why Gerboud used the temple to sway the monks and older generation. After all the most important thing to all of these people within the temple was the temple itself. To help expand their ancestors temple would be something they could be proud about for the rest of their lives. Never a day would pass without them smiling ear to ear. Hearing this Owen slightly smiled.

‘This Gerboud will always strive for more power. Luckily I’ve never had a reason to be on his bad side.’
Owen wasn’t stupid after all he took care in paying attention to the smallest of details. He could even tell people’s emotions through their speech pattern. However even while listening Owen could only hear truth behind his words. If it wasn’t for the fact that Owen heard his voice many times previously maybe even he would be fooled? But it wasn’t just Owen that knew he was lying, the headmasters and greater elders also could see through this ruse. But if the vast majority agreed, they were willing to agree. Not to mention these were the words of the gods themselves. It couldn’t be wrong to follow them could it? Even though Gerboud had other intentions that was irrelevant.
The headmaster sighed and looked over to the First Monk, Tiebuat. Noticing the headmaster's gaze, Tiebuat slightly bowed and also stood up. He was an obese man, as one could clearly see the chub on his stomach. He was dark skinned and had a differing facial features from most of those here. In fact he was from the other side of the continent, from the eastern lands. It was no wonder he looked different, but no one ever brought up such a topic, because it didn’t change that the First Monk Tiebaut was incredible at the usage of medicine. It is because of Tiebaut that the headmaster still has a few years left of him. A gracious act that the headmaster fully respected. As such he wouldn’t make a decision without hearing the opinion of this man first.
“Headmaster, I actually do not have an qualms about sending the warriors out. I only wish for the warriors to be accompanied by a monk. That way by pairing up their chances of survival will grow.”

To everyone's surprise, or at the least until they remembered this was the will of the gods, they looked at Tiebuat with shocked expressions that slowly faded. The headmaster also thought that sounded reasonable and finally nodded in agreement.
Luckily for Owen, this meant he could attend as well. Although he was both a warrior and a monk, his accomplishments as a monk far outstripped the warriors. He couldn’t win a fight against even some of the weakest of enemies. With only a strong will, that simply wasn’t enough to save his life in times of worry. However because of Owen’s heightened sense of smell and touch. He was able to pinpoint exact herbs and use them to cure most injuries sickness.
It was at this moment when everyone was casually discussing amongst themselves, whether it be their future partner of the might of the gods, but suddenly the mahogany doors to the exit blew open. Wind invaded the hallway causing the stagnant air to be filled with freshness. As Gerboud was about to roar in anger to the disrespectful entrance he immediately shut his opened mouth that had yet to speak.
What stood in the doorway was a beautiful woman. She looked to be in her early 20’s, her black hair was tied in superficial way that looked like a dark waterfall falling endlessly down her back. Her hazel coloured eyes gazed upon every individual and when it came time for the person to meet her gaze their hearts stopped. Not because of her overwhelming beauty but because of a sudden pressure that felt like they were suffocating. Her skin showed traces of never ending liveliness with a light whitish pink.
As she stood there only for a few moments everyone was unable to tell how long time had truly passed. Whether it felt like years or months or centuries no one knew and continued to sit there unmoving. Owen, once again was alone in the fact that he felt no pressure nor did he know what was going on. Owen had truthfully only known that the door had opened. He couldn’t tell that there was a lady in the entrance way. How could he though? Her footsteps made no sound. Although she had a scent, it was so familiar to the lilies outside he felt it was only because of the wind that he could smell them. But he knew the moment she took a step forward and bowed, that she was there. Because the voice that followed next nearly caused him to unconsciously stand up.
“Greetings fellow Pathwalkers.”

This is the tale of Jordan. A socially awkward high school teenage boy. Sometimes life is unfair, and this is one of those times. Jordan didn't quite anticipate that not doing homework would end up with him being dead. This is my first novel. Please don't hold me at gunpoint... actually, please do. Just take a few steps back so I can see the face of the person that brought my demise upon this earth.
