V3 Chapter 65
For a moment, Amadea’s voice could not be heard again.
Though, a moment later, a loud sigh resounded inside his mind.
A sigh filled with someone giving up.
'Don’t die on me, Cian… I mean it. If you play with your life and lose it in the process, I’ll curse you to become an idiot in your next life. That is if I don’t find you in the underworld first.'
'What a mean thing to say to your beloved, my dear Amadea. That gives me the shivers,'
Cian let out a wry smile from the sudden, unexpected threat from her.
Still, what a cruel thing to say to the one you love so much.
The trees in the area continued to move. Their enormous branches swung at the wind wolves. Every swing sent countless flying, and with a thought, vines would capture countless.
Amadea’s actions helped to reduce the pressure on him. Though, even with all this, the wind wolves appeared endless, coming in bigger and bigger numbers.
Cian made a step forward, however, it’s as if his figure suddenly warped as in a blink of an eye, he had appeared right in front of his target.
Immediately after his knuckles smash a wolf into the ground. Raising his leg, he then kicked the beast, lifting it into the air before slashing it with his black sword and completely cutting its neck, finishing it off.
“Now then, let your King comes… or else, all of you might die today~” he grinned coldly.
“Master,”
Regina’s voice called out to him.
The voice seemed extremely worried.
“Something is coming…something very terrible,”
She said. It seems like she had also sensed the Monster King’s aura. She seemed intimidated and scared. For a fight like this, fear is something that shouldn't be felt. or else, death will be your outcome.
Cian stared at Regina.
“I know,”
He said simply.
“A wolf king is coming… just do what you are currently doing, Regina. Leave the Wolf King to me, you ensure your safety first, and give it a priority,”
“A Wolf King?! Master, you can’t-!”
She appeared behind him, and grabbed his arm, “Master we need to go!” she cried out in anxiety.
Cian smiled and didn’t budge from her pull. He grabbed her hand, “I’m fine, so do as I tell you,”
“But master!”
“Regina, you’re not going to disobey me, are you?”
“... ….”
Regina bit her lips, and after a while, she finally let him go. But there is still reluctance on her eyes, as she stared at him.
Cian smiled and was about to say something when the wolves around them began to move.

Well, not like they can understand how to read the mood, and give time and space for a moment. When the wolves started rushing towards them, he immediately steps forward, standing in front of Regina, and conjured a fireball, launching it towards the nearest wolves.
The fireball exploded, but the attack was insignificant as not even one wolves was been caught, much less died.
“Regina, focus on the battle for now,” he glanced at her, showing a fearless grin.
“You don’t need to worry about me, for I won’t die,”
“Master,”
“Kill as much as you want, but prioritize your safety. I have many means of leaving the battle alive, even if it’s against Monster Kings, but it would be different if I’m with you. I wouldn’t be able to continue worrying about you once the battle starts, do you understand me?”
“Yes, Master…I won’t drag you down,”
Looking at Regina’s serious expression, he felt that maybe she was treating this too seriously. Even against Monster King, Cian still has the confidence to not let her die, so being so serious is not really that necessary. But he let her misunderstand his words.
He felt that this would mold her character and that she would become a woman that would not need any protection and can stand with her own feet even if she is beside him.
He wanted her to become his shadow, and so she must become one and act like one. Not a woman to always be protected, but rather, a woman that would protect me instead. Cian wanted to expect that from her.
Regina steps back, and once again, her figure slowly disappeared.
Is that some kind of skill?
He wondered. It seems to be a higher version of stealth, or concealment, and more like a shadow-type ability instead. For a bit, he becomes envious of it. If he had it, he would have become an unparalleled assassin once again. But if he wanted it, he could only eat her, which, would be an impossible thing, unless the worst situation happens.
But Cian had some feelings that Regina would never betray him.
Cian sensed a movement beside him and hurriedly used [Flash] disappearing on his former position as soon as the wolves arrived.
[Flash] has been one of his self-replicated techniques, basing on the powerful abilities from all the books he had read back on earth. He was not obsessed like most fans were, but still, he was fond of reading books to kill time.
For he has no friends or acquaintances, without work or mission, he would be forced to stay inside his room with nothing to do. Because of that, he spent his time reading books. But before he knew it, he also tackled fiction stories, including manga and light novels.

For some reason, he even seemed to gain inspiration for assassination from it sometimes, which is completely unexpected. Especially that 'certain child of the death god' series, it always never faze him in realizing how fragile a man's life is. And with his incredible memory, he became somehow knowledgeable about it.
Still, it’s not like he was capable of replicating skills whatever he wanted. But the [Magic Eye] of Night surely helped him a lot.
He was able to see the flow of magic, outside and inside of his body, enabling him to control and mold magic the way he wanted it. Because of that, he was able to recreate the skills he liked.
[Flash] was one of the skills he had developed. Of course, it’s not similar to the original as it was created by combining [Flash Step] and [Shave], two great movements techniques from two great manga series.
By collecting and solidifying magic power beneath their feet, one is able to successfully walk on the air and thus able to freely move as if they were flying. It has the same effect as the Wind Magic System- [Wind Walk].
One must know that this action required precision, like a water strider standing on the water surface. As for moving fast, the secret to that is with a similar process, but this time, kicking the air.
Considering this technique is focused on speed, the ability to use [Flash] relies solely on one’s ability on how fast they can travel from point A to point B in the least amount of steps. Both training and skill, therefore, determine how fast one can travel.
Though he was unable to replicate the original method, however, he was still able to create a more simple process that he had even able to teach it to the members of his organization, making it the skills exclusive for higher-ranking members.
Aside from [Flash], there was also [Armament], that enables one to coat their bodies with magic power to strengthen it- [Iron Body] giving an almost similar power to his [Iron Skin], [Storm Leg], a technique that can send out a sharp compressed wind blade through kicking, [Blood Dress], [Moon Fang] and a few others. Sadly, most were failed attempts, but surprisingly a few of them have unexpectedly succeeded.
Though, some of the created techniques needed specific requirements to use, such as magic, control, or physical body prowess. And so, the created skills are not something one can easily teach to someone else.
Whoooosh~!!
Cian appeared just behind a group of wolves who stared aghast at the sudden loss of their prey, and without hesitation, slashed his sword at their necks. Blood spluttered, and he was able to kill three but not all.
The Wind Wolves turned around in panic the moment the fourth life was reaped and immediately lunged at him.
Looking at the wolves throwing themselves at him, Cian only grin, and immediately step back, and disappeared. What replaced him, however, was a thick branch that sweeps horizontally, hitting the beasts, and sending them flying back.
Awwooooh!!
A wind wolf appeared behind. Cian was about to turn around when the sound of a blade thrusting into flesh rang out in the eerie battlefield. Regina appeared beside the pouncing beast and lodged her sharp dagger into the monster’s throat.
Pulling the dagger, another one replaced. Two daggers stabbed through the wind wolf’s throat, and in just a blink of an eye, more than five times the poor beast was stabbed.
The wind wolf couldn’t even move as the beast’s face twisted with panic and anger before letting out a loud howl,
Thud!
The wind wolf collapsed with a loud thud.
Awoooooh!!!
Awoooooh!!!
Seeing the rising number of deaths among their brethren, the wind wolves went berserk and howled simultaneously in anger. They immediately tried to take revenge, and attack Regina. However, she was like a ghost hiding in the night. No one was able to see her much less, sense her presence.
Cian then met the beasts, raising his leg and kicked a wind wolf that throws itself at him. When he moved his hand, suddenly, his arms ignited in flames. But unlike normal red flames, the flames in his hand were dyed black, with a purple at the center. It was strange, but beautiful flames as it swayed in the wind.
Abyssal Flames.
The innate flames of the Abyssal Hawk that Cian had obtained from the Chimera.
Not only he was able to integrate the Wings of the Abyssal Hawk, but he had also learned to generate the monster’s abilities including its flames.
It’s a very strong ability that can incinerate any object or creatures in an instant.
Cian’s eyes suddenly narrowed. He opened his palm and flames swept in the surrounding. In an instant, trees, and plants, even the wind wolves that were about to pounce, were hit by the flames and were burned.
Wails and screams echoed in the surroundings as they squirmed in pain. However, a strong gust of wind suddenly appeared, and the flames immediately disappeared.
Cian’s eyes narrowed.
An incredible overwhelming pressure could be felt coming from the bushes.
It’s coming!
A true monster!

The Only Real Cultivator
Vincent was relaxing in physics class when he and his entire class were teleported into a vast other world, where everybody called themselves cultivators and fought with magical martial arts. Vincent gained power over plants, allowing him to turn seeds into all sorts of vegetation. He ventures out into this new world filled with phony cultivators to set the record straight. He can make one declaration with absolute certainty, “I am the only real cultivator!” - You will see an overpowered main character with a cheat ability. You will see "comedy". You will see a normal guy who gets teleported to another world. You will see classic wuxia elements like Qi cultivation and alchemy. You will see grammar from a native speaker. You won't see a ruthless MC who kills everybody that offends him. You won't see harem. It's essentially everything I like about light novels, web novels, and wuxia all shoved into one story. If you’d like an unholy mix of overpowered main character, wuxia, fantasy, and LitRPG - give The Only Real Cultivator a try. 6/1/2020 edit: Some bloke plagerized this book and put it on amazon, titling it "Ancient Cultivator." tbh I'm kinda flattered that I'm worth plagerizing. Still, don't buy the book. The whole thing's available here for free.

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
