V3 Chapter 47
With the violent momentum of her magical aura, Ruka ran towards Dreka with an incredible speed.
Roooar!
Roooar!
Roooar!
Along the way, many monsters tried to intercept her, pouncing at her as she passed. However, before they could even touch her, they had collapsed in their own pool of blood.
"Annoying! Scram, beasts!"
Ruka glared at them, and lightning sparked angrily around her hair in response to her irritation.
With her daggers clad and charged fully with plasma, she swept past through these monsters, killing them instantly, and creating a series of loud explosions wherever she goes.
Passing through the horde of monsters that came rushing at her, she once again arrived just in front of Dreka.
The Ogre saw her arrival and immediately made the first move, hurling the massive axe that was clad with blazing flames at her.
“Fire Splitter!!”
The heat…!
Ruka furrowed her brows and felt a part of her face burned, with several parts of clothes scorched. Nevertheless, she was quick to react, dodging the attack by seemly transforming into lightning, then flying around and slashed her two daggers on the Ogre’s back.
Dreka winced from the numbing pain. But the pain was insignificant, and he swept his arms, attempting to swat her with his trunk-like arms. Ruka ducked timely, then started kicking him in all the angles and spots as she could. But the toughness of the Ogre was not just for show, and her attacks were easily repelled.
Scorching flames came shooting at her.
Ruka immediately made a backflip, dodging the incoming flame thrower.
As expected…
She grimaced.
Most of the monsters that came at them were all fire-type demons and monsters.
This was done in order to defeat and capture their princess.
This Ogre was a Fire Ogre, one of the rarest evolved variants. Not only his body practically resembled a metal that was refined by flames, making it harder and tougher, but his flames were also so strong it can burn everything into ashes.
War of Beasts.
This particular organization, despite being more infamous among the three Great Organizations, the true strength they possess is still quite difficult to gauge as the others. Just like this Ogre, she hadn’t even heard of this monster up until now.
Baaaaang!
Their attacks once again collided.
Both let out a groan, as the two were forced away.
"Lighting Bolt!"
A blast of lightning shot at Dreka, who jumped into the air.

"Fire Ogre Wrath!" he yelled.
Dreka then shot at her, who turned to lightning and cracked away. With his blazing axe, he smashed into the ground, creating a rather sizable crater.
With a fierce expression, Ruka appeared again. Numbness assaulting her arms. She turned toward her daggers, and as expected, one of them has a chipped blade. She made an aggrieved face. If her daggers are not high-grade magic weapons, they might have already been broken a long time ago.
The Ogre’s skin is not only hard and tough as metal but was also continuously emitting a blazing heat as if he was a mass of flames altogether.
Damn it…!
I may be faster but my strength is not enough to contend against him.
A bad match up…
Realizing her situation, Ruka’s expression turned even grimmer.
… …
“They keep springing up one after the other…”
From another’s point of view, it was as if Rovarte had just disappeared, but immediately afterward a dull, metallic sound rang throughout the forest. Her figure was still missing, but the ring of metal and the sounds of screams continued to echo out from different directions.
The dust and smoke had grown thick so visibility was bad, but even if that was taken into account, one’s eyes couldn’t keep up with her at all as she moved in the battlefield, galloping like a knight on a red steed.
The monsters who had surrounded her moments ago were now lying on the ground, in their own pool of blood. Suddenly, she heard a loud explosion nearby. She hurriedly turns around and saw several arcs of light flying in the air, and one of them was a familiar bluish color.
“Your highness!!” she cried out in worry.
She saw the Demon Princess fighting in the air against two enemies at the same time.
Chilling wind accompanied by sharp icicles rain down from time to time.
The entire place where they were fighting was assaulted by chilling cold, and blizzard.
The intense fight they were having was destroying everything around them.
To think a Minotaur can fly!
It was truly an unexpected scenario.
Because of that sudden development, Oriel was forced to fight against the Minotaur and the Demon Succubus simultaneously.
Though, a Minotaur flying is utterly impossible. However, judging from the boots that were glowing with green light, it could be inferred easily as to why. It’s a Magic Tool. A Rare and Unique one at that- flying magic tools have always been sought after. But they are very hard to create. They are very rare precious treasures.

Rather, most artifacts that enable one to fly in the sky, circulated in the market were mostly those that were found in Ancient Dungeons and Labyrinths.
That is why, their number is very little, while their value is so high they are as expensive as a medium-sized castle.
Thinking that a mere Minotaur could possess something like that is nigh impossible. It must have been prepared beforehand, just to deal with their princess.
Princess Oriel was known partly because of her [Ice Queen’s Wings] one of the four Great Weapons of the Demon Empire along with the Crown Prince- Lucifalion’s [Heaven Breaking Halberd].
It not only enabled flight but also high-speed flight that far surpassed flight magic.
Without the ability to fly, defeating Oriel would have been a nigh impossible dream, as she can destroy everything on the ground while flying in the air.
This must have been anticipated by them since they appeared well prepared. Not to mention, they were able to easily repel and block her ice magic.
To think the Great Demon Princess was being pressed against a corner.
Oriel’s scream filled with anger echoed in the entire area.
A small blizzard tornado whirled around the battlefield, swallowing monsters and demons, throwing them away like garbages.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The countless icicles exploded, killing a large number of monsters nearby.
Looking at Oriel’s distressed state, Rovarte’s expression turned pale in anxiety. She gripped her beloved halberd tightly and rushed towards her master’s side desperately.
Countless monsters tried to block her path but they were slaughtered, turned into chunks of flesh. She galloped in the middle of the battle, trying to reach Princess Oriel’s location.
Something had fallen!
Rovarte’s attention was suddenly attracted by something falling from the sky. It was emitting a bluish color, seeing that, her expression immediately turned white.
Was it her highness?!
She thought and hurriedly run in that direction. However, when the dirt and dust disappeared, she can now see a silhouette that was certainly not her princess.
A large man with a four-legged lower body.
Ardon the Tyrant.
“Damn it! As expected of the infamous Ice Princess, even with all of us, we still can’t defeat her easily,”
Ardon grumbled.
He tried to move, but then, suddenly, he felt his arm not moving, as if it was sealed. His entire left arm had hardened and seemly lost all feeling. When he turned towards his arm, he could see a layer of faint frost had already extended around it. Not only his arm, but even one of his legs was also in a frozen state.
“Damn it”
He was even more fearful of the fact that the frost was actually spreading through every part of his body. And if not stop, he would be encased in ice in just a few moments.
“Forbidden Spell; Ice Prison- to think she could really use it easily... damn bitch!”
Without hesitation, Ardon immediately took out a small vial from his waist pouch and drunk it. Fortunately, they had come prepared.
Immediately after, the frost ice that was covering his arms slowly let out smoke and melting.
Medium-Grade Dispel Potion.
If he didn’t have it, his life would surely be in danger.
But damn it, this was expensive!
Ardon gritted his teeth, his shark-like teeth grinding each other was creating an eerie noise that could make one felt a cold chill on their spine.
“How dare that bitch! I’ll have my revenge!” he raised his head and look at the arcs of light and explosions that were occurring in the sky.
The battle was becoming even worse as time goes by. However, if one looks closely, the fight was slowly coming to its conclusion, as no matter how strong the Ice Princess is, even her magic power should be running low by now.
No matter how many Forbidden Spells she knows, without magic power, they are nothing to fear.
Julian, the Minotaur’s fire elemental was restricting her ice elemental magic. Though the Demon Princess was clearly stronger than him, however, Julian right now was equipped with numerous fire-enhancing equipment and even a few ice-resistant items.
The Demon Princess might be strong, but with only Ice Queen’s Wings on her, even if the Demon Treasure was extremely powerful, it still has limits.
That’s why they have chosen this time to make a move. Because it was at this moment that the Demon Princess would let her guard down and brought nothing with her to the Walpurgis Banquet.
But still.... to think that she was still able to fight against them this long, and even gave them this much trouble, the Demon Princess- what a terrible woman she is....!

This is my first work and I will hopefully stay around for a while. I will try to finish or at least expand on this piece of work for quite some time, expect a few hiatuses in between though, still have a bit of schooling to do. Expected release dates will probably be once a week(not sure yet) after I stabilized the novel a bit as I'm still debating on how I should handle this. I prefer fleshed-out works compared to quick releases, but it also depends on how I'm feeling. I don't have a lot of confidence in my writing skills and I believe that my writing style is a bit weird, but I do want to try my best to tell a story that's worth telling. I will gladly accept criticism but please try to pull the punches back a bit! I'm still only human after all. Very excited to work on this, please take good care of me as I proceed on this journey with all of you! P.S. If you're going into my series, expect to see cliches sprinkled here and there. I personally love cliches and a few tropes! But, that goes without saying, I want to put my own spin on them. Be ready to feel the edge!!! Heh.
