V2 Chapter 30
Bloodhole Gang headquarters grand hall.
One of the three leaders of the Bloodhole Gang, known as the [Fiendish Flame Imp]; Arasol, sat on the second throne, his brows were tightly locked together and his eyes that most similar to a goat narrowed further in impatience. It had been quite a while since Ropel and the others went out, why weren’t they back yet?
Sitting on the seat a head lower than Arasol was a charming lady with hands of marmoreal skin, but the nails on her hands were noticeably longer than normal, furthermore, they were black in color, like an obsidian. They were sharp as a blade and seemed to exude a sharpness that signifies that it can cut everything.
Her skin color was not that of a fair human being but was instead, crimson-colored, like that of a metallic flame. Short pointed ears, her hair was as beautiful and lustrous as flaming strands of fire.
This was the Bloodhole Gang’s third-in-command, Palaer. Her strength was only weaker than the leader of the Gang and equal to the second-in-command. She only took the position as third as she wasn’t interested in the Gang’s ruling business.
“Arasol, should we go take a look?” Seeing Arasol’s expression, Palaer proposed. The idiot son of Arasol and the other people taking such a long time baffled her as well. Although she dislikes the arrogant bastard, she was still thinking about the well-being of the Bloodhole Gang as a whole. If something happened to that idiot, the Bloodhole Gang would surely be shaken till its roots; after all, Arasol is quite a doting father to that of the idiot.
And if something really touched the arrogant bastard while knowing the Bloodhole Gang, it means they are asking for war—challenging the name and reputation of the entire group.
“Second leader, Roquel is with that group and with his strength, there is only the Thousand Illusion or the Eastern Tyrants that could be his opponent in the entire Okmahun Demon City.” At this time, a robust man with one large horn on his forehead stood up, saying “Therefore, second and third leader need not worry, I think Roquel and the rest will return very soon.”
Arasol nodded in agreement. Indeed, other than himself and Roquel, only these two factions could be Roquel’s opponent in the entire Okmahun Demon City. Furthermore, although they indeed have small skirmishes in the past, the three factions never dared to declare war. This moment was one of the worst years to make war with each other with a large war going, if not they would be subjected to the Demon Empire’s punishment. It’s not something they would dare…
Besides, each of the faction is still wary against each other’s strength, they wouldn’t move before completely knowing the strength of the opposite party.
Thinking of this point, Arasol relaxed.
However, at this time, a middle-aged man ran into the grand hall all flustered, agitated, and anxious. Seeing this person’s expression, Arasol’s heart sank.
All the Gang Elders turned to look at that man.
“Second Leader, it’s bad!” The instant the man ran into the grand hall, he fell to his knees, words flowing out of his mouth rapidly.
“What happened?” Arasol’s face was gloomy, snapping at the man.
“Second leader, Ra, Raquel, they, they, they were all killed!” That man blurted out with fear.
“What?!” it was as if a bomb exploded in the grand hall. All the Bloodhole Gang subordinate and Elders revealed astonishment and confusion. Arasol and Palaer both wore grave expression.

“Ropel, where’s Ropel?!” Arasol jumped up from his seat, hollering in anger.
“He, he…died…”
All the Bloodhole people were stunned, each one showing a grave expression.
“What did you say?!” Arasol roared in anger; with a quick flicker, his silhouette left the throne dais, appearing right in front of the man shivering in fear. Both hands reached out and lifted the man up by the collar as a horrifying killing intent swirled out from his body like a hurricane.
That man was so terrified that he lost all the colors in his face.
“YounㅡYoung Lord he, he…” The man stammered incoherently.
Arasol’s anger was further stoked with the man action, his palm slapped straight onto that man’s chest, sending the latter tumbling on the floor all the way until the edge of the hall, where he hit a stone pillar, halting his movements. His chest caved in as a result and if it was a normal human taking that hit, he would have been dead by now.
Struck by Arasol, the man struggled to get up only to fall to his knees, begging for mercy, “Master mercy, Master mercy, ah!”
Arasol harrumphed curtly, “Speak, recount every detail of the event clearly!” If it wasn’t for him being anxious to know what happened, he would have killed this man with that palm just now.
“Yes, yes, yes, Master!” That man answered with dread as he quickly recounted in detail what he knew.
Hearing that a young man had killed his son in an instant, Arasol’s face layered with frost and despair, but when he heard that after the group including Raquel had attacked, Raquel was actually instantly killed by the black-clothed youth with an unknown means, exploding his body into a bloody pulp, whereas the other members were killed by the youth’s female servant in a blink of an eye, Arasol, Palaer, and the present Gang Elders revealed expressions of astonishment.
Just how powerful could that youth be… and even completely disregard the Bloodhole’s existence.
Arasol had an ugly expression on his face hearing this, unable to conceal the amazement from his eyes.
“After that?” he asked solemnly.
“After killing the young lord and the others, the black-clothed man then suddenly disappeared out of nowhere, as if they were a ghost.” That man hastened to answer. “I, I don’t know what happened… but they just vanished in thin air like they were an illusion…!”
“… …” Arasol gritted his teeth in anger. He took a deep breath and turned towards the Gang Elders, “What do you all think?”
“…this…we don’t have any information about that man. However, since he had a servant, he would surely be someone with a high status.”
“A noble…? Are you saying he’s a young master from somewhere?!”
“Regardless of whether he is or not, this black-clothed man is definitely someone that is hard to move. Just his power is already troublesome… if we added a good background on him… he will be,” The Bloodhole Gang Elders started to state their opinions one after another while Arasol’s face grew gloomier by the second.
Palaer was also pondering the matter as she sat quietly on the chair, not speaking a word. What she was thinking, no one knows.
“Second Leader, regardless of who that brat is since the Young Lord has been killed like this we must not think any further and have our revenge! let’s surround the entire City and flip it upside down, even if he is a noble, he would still need to give accounts to the young master’s death!” At this point, one of the Elders stood up proclaiming.

Arasol’s eyes flickered, tempted.
“Third Sister, what do you think?” Arasol turned around, enquiring the Gang’s third-in-command Palaer.
Palaer thought for a while and then said seriously, “Second Brother should not do anything big for the time being and send some people out to investigate that black-clothed man’s identity. We need to gather information first, or else we might step into a trap. You must know, the Bloodhole Gang is being eyed by not just the Thousand Illusion but also the Eastern Tyrants as well as the Empire, due to the Gang’s rapid advancement.”
“… …”
“If we caused a mistake, even a bit, the entire group’s existence would be the one to take the hit!” Palaer muttered solemnly. “…In addition, we need to ask for First Brother’s decision as well…”
Although reluctant, Arasol nodded—Palaer’s opinion was reasonable and also the same as his. Doing anything eye-catching right now is not something he could easily do without knowing that black-clothed’s man’s identity. In these current times, it was not a wise move. First, investigate that black-clothed man’s bottom line, finding and catching him wouldn’t be too late!
“I listen to the second sister…” A brief moment passed as Arasol forced himself to suppress the boiling killing intent in his heart. He clenched his heart in hatred, swearing that he would surely kill the man who had killed his son. He was about to relay his orders when he heard the sound of hurried footsteps coming from outside. “Master, Master! Things are not good. Something has happened.”
With this desperate voice, even Palaer, turned towards the demon rushing to this place. She only saw a servant hastily running towards them with his forehead beaded with sweat. She couldn’t help, but frown and said, “Why are you getting all panicked for? Slowly tell me what the matter is about.”
The servant gasped for breath before he said, “Mas, Master… there’s an intruder! He, his killing everyone he encountered! He, he couldn’t be stopped!”
“What?!” Palaer, Arasol, and all the elders immediately stood up, their faces expressed shock.
… …
A few minutes earlier…
In a dim corner of the City which was treated as a slum of the Okmahun Demon City…
In a certain tavern, the door creaked as a grunt left while shouting, “You bitch!” His voice echoing in the entire back alley.
“Not using your mouth, huh? You should feel thankful that I’m not punishing you since you can earn our Gang a bit of money with your body. If not, you would have been disposed of! Hmph! Bitch!” The demon grunt turned into an alley and was about to pee in the corner. Toilets were basically non-existent in the slums, and excrement was all over the alleys. This was even worse that of human Cities. Humanity has at least some awareness of hygiene but in this World of the Demons, weaker and poorer people are the bottom of the food chain—clearer than human cities and was basically ignored and treated like air.
They are all treated as worthless… without mercy!
And so, because of this, the hygiene in this kind of place, in the entire Demon Empire, was even worse than London in the 19th century. Thus, nobles or other rich people would never step into the slums. Even the guards could not be bothered with patrolling there. The people in the slums were left to fend for themselves.
“Damn! I’ll make you regret it someday!” He felt a chilling breeze behind his neck just after venting his anger verbally. Before the demon grunt could reach for his weapon, a hand covered his mouth, and a dagger sliced his throat without making any sound. Blood gushed out like a fountain and sprayed all over the place. But it was not yet ended. The Shadow’s black dagger suddenly wriggled and while still lodged in the person’s throat, the black dagger suddenly expanded, turning into a sword.
Wooosh. Immediately after, the neck that has a grave cut reached till the back of the head, and with a move of his wrist, the neck was severed completely. All of this happened in just a blink of an eye, the Demon Grunt couldn’t even let out a sound.
The shadow held the still bleeding head on his hand until the grunt stopped convulsing and stops making any sound. The severed head has its eyes opened widely, still not understanding what had happened…
“…Hm, it is indeed hard to do the usual,” The Shadow muttered faintly. When the light of the moon appeared in the dark corner of the alley, the appearance of the shadow was revealed ever slightly. It was none other than, Cian. Wearing a fit Black-hoodie Jacket, Cian was smiling as he looks at the dagger dyed with blood on his hand.
As expected of a Demon, even if he slit their throat, it is yet to be enough to completely kill them. If he didn’t coat his weapon with a fast-acting paralyzing poison, the strength is already enough to struggle free from his clutch. Oh well, let’s carry on… there are still many sub-division for the Bloodhole Gang in the area. Slowly killing them first before the main course…
Smiling coldly, Cian then dragged the corpse into another alley while leaving a bloody trail, but it was unnoticeable as darkness covered everything up.
“Where’s Lopa?” another one of Bloodhole Gang members said angrily. “He’s taking half a day just to pee for god’s sake!
“We need to go back now to the base!” The demon looked around and sensed that something was off. Suddenly, when he walked into the Alley, he paused. The stench of blood drifted in the air. This is…?! Don’t tell me—! He warily unsheathed his short sword and approached the alley. The Demon’s expression darkened and he was about to shout for reinforcements, but the shadows seemingly distorted before he could.
A dagger pierced his heart from the back while a strong arm choked his neck. “Heart Burst!” A cold voice rang out from behind him and, immediately after; his heart trembled and suddenly, exploded. His screams were silenced, and the demon was soon dead.
“Man, I suddenly missed using firearms; it would have been quite easy with a silencer on…” Cian muttered as he dragged the second corpse of the night into the alley. The stench of blood in the air was strong after killing two men. The nearby residents knew that it was going to be a rough night and slammed their doors and windows shut. They afraid to be pulled in and so they didn’t dare show themselves or act with curiosity. Killing here is just everyday matters…
Now then, the next should be in the eastern direction…
Cian reeked of blood. Using the nearby walls as footholds, Cian leaped onto the roof of the building next to him.
…that night, over twenty people were killed and dumped in every alley without anyone noticing…
When Cian reached outside of the Blood Pool Tavern, a seemingly high rise building in the Back Alley, he looked around the surroundings and decided to go in with the crowd. Once he entered, the place was filled with loud music with a mix of desperate males and females shouting and jumping. Cian did not bother to linger on the first floor and went straight up to the second floor.
“Excuse me, Mister, the second floor is meant only for the VIPs. Please show us your VIP card if you wish to enter,” When Cian walked up to the second floor, a hall manager-like demon walked toward him and told him that.
“Where is your boss?” Cian asked indifferently.
“May I know what’s the problem, Mister?” The man asked, doubtful.
“There’s no problem… just here to send some invitation.” Cian responded lightly.
“Invitation? May I ask from whom?”
“From King Yama himself…” Cian grinned. “King Yama told me that your boss has apparently lived enough and so he wanted me to send him to the underworld, please ignore me~”
Upon hearing the name ‘King Yama’ the man wondered which king Cian was talking about but the moment he heard the word sending him to the underworld, the man’s expression instantly turned grave.
