《The Blood Prince》Chapter 3

As Cian was lying on the large bed, suddenly he remembered something… “Ah right, what about the assassin who tried to kill me…? Was he captured yet?”
Ruka was wiping her tears and some vigor was already starting to come back on her face. “Reporting to his highness, the assassin was indeed already captured and was being punished within the dungeon.”
“Hmmm… right, tell them to stop it and don’t let touch him before I arrived.”
“Yes, your highness?” Ruka answered, perplexed.
“Did you understand what I said?” Cian muttered annoyed.
“Y, yes, your highness!” Ruka hurriedly nodded.
“Then, go and do what I said. I want to rest first…”
“Yes, your highness…!” Ruka bowed as she turned around and began to walk slowly. Though her mind was still muddled as to what had really happened just now…
What is wrong with his highness today…?
What is…?
“Ah, Ruka…” Suddenly Cian called out again when she was about to open the door of the room.
“A, y, yes…?”
“If someone was looking for me, whether it was my siblings or my mother… tell them I don’t want to be disturbed. Don’t let them come in… as for you, after doing what I ask, come back immediately and if you see me sleeping don’t disturb me. Just stay here… your work is not a mere palace maid anymore but mine… understand?”
Ruka felt it strange once again but she still properly nodded her head and bowed again, leaving. Her expression complicated and confused.
As for Cian, he finally sighs. Damn it, he was a former high school student with a killer background, not an actor…
It’s really hard to act like an ice block scum while avoiding suspicion. However, a poor woman indeed, but he doesn’t have a choice. In this new world, what he lacks currently are reliable and loyal people. He doesn’t know yet as to what he would face in this kind of world…
He needed some kind of hand while he watched and observed his situation. But this hand must be his, loyal and devoted or else he might reach game over in just a short time in just the slightest mistake.
‘Since this is the case now… I’ll consider that we’re having some slight resemblance as a respect… and face the situation for you.’ Cian sighed and shrugged, ‘To be honest… I don’t want to. To have this kind of a crappy body and shitty reputation… I can only imagine the level of suffering I’ll have to face because of your body. But since this is Night’s arrangement, I will accept it.’

‘I really hope that you’re not deceiving me… Night…’

For a period of time, Cian locked himself in his room as he thoroughly reviewed the memories of this new world, and had dinner sent directly to him by Ruka.
Because of his purpose and mission, Cian fully suppressed his anxiety and discomfort of the unfamiliar environment he found himself in. He was fully aware that if he wanted to blend in and avoid being suspected by the people around him, he needed to acquire more information as soon as possible.
It had to be said that, apart from information about himself fooling around with other noble children, doing cruel and nasty entertainments, his new memory consisted of nothing much else.
He was unable to recall any information of value, such as knowledge of the demon aristocracy, the political situation in his own country, or even the war...
Although he had some general knowledge such as city names, and the years of significant events, they were almost useless.
When Cian woke up the next morning, he was at most, almost recovered. The fatal wounds that should have killed normal people have quickly recovered in no time. Although this body’s owner was a trash in society but his body was indeed, that of a magical being—A Demon!
When he woke up the next morning, he saw Ruka sitting beside the bed in a chair, with eyes closed. Apparently sleeping.
Hmm, this gal… did she wait here up until now?
Well, what an obedient girl…
Cian sigh and then, he leaned over. He grabbed the girl’s collar and pulled her, albeit violently, startling the poor woman awake. But before she could react, her lips were met by hot lips.
“Hmm?!!” Ruka’s eyes widened and when her eyes saw Cian’s clear beautiful strange eyes, she almost choked up and blushed. All traces of sleepiness then vanished from her eyes in an instant.
No matter how she accepted her new status, there was no way of completely staying calm when faced with this brutal demon.
“What? You dislike it?” Next to her ears whispered the voice that gave her the creeps.
Out of her survival instincts, Ruka shook her head. She was unsure whether he believed her. He glanced at her for a moment and then looked down, giving her little kisses on her lips again, then to her chin and neck...
The heavy, hot breath buried in her neck gave her warning signs all over her body.

She was like a deer that’d been bitten by a predator. She didn't dare move an inch as she lied there on the soft mattress, letting her second prince do whatever he wanted. Still morning yet and his master was already ferocious like this…?
When she opened her eyes, she found out that she was face to face with Cian and her eyes saw Cian’s clear bright eyes but for some reason, she was shocked to see that unlike before, there was no mockery or lust, but just like clear beautiful eyes of an innocent child…
What?! Innocent child… bah! Ruka wanted to spat out but she didn’t dare and let Cian roam his lips all over her body.
As for Cian, at first he was doing it only for pretense—as he recalled it was customary of the original Aanuel to do so, but then, suddenly for some reason, a kind of familiar feeling surge through him. Even in his mind, a lustful voice was constantly yapping, ‘That’s right! Do it! Do it! Do it!’ obviously, it was probably the real Aanuel’s lingering spirit…
He then saw Ruka’s face flush a bright red as she stared at him.
That’s enough, you bastard! I am not you…!! Cian snarled at the voice within his mind.
After what seemed like forever, he finally let her loose. With just a few kisses and feeling up, Cian didn’t do anything further.
In the next second, a surprisingly pleasant sight fell into Aanuel’s view. Cian rose and sat on the bed half-naked, the backlight outlining his slender stature and tapered waist. Because of his race, his body was innately ten times better than a normal human even without exercising or work out.
Looking at the woman staring at him dumbfounded from the bed, Cian’s lips rose up. “What? Do you really want me to mess you up?”
“Eh?!” Only then was Ruka started awake. She hurriedly stood from the bed and hastily fixed her mangled clothes. With a flushed face, her gaze continued to drop down, not daring to look at Cian’s face.
Cian chuckled, almost scaring Ruka. He then said, “What are you still doing there, go get me clothes…”
“Y, yes, your highness…!” Ruka’s shoulder jumped and immediately turned around. From behind, Cian’s voice rang out.
“I don’t like flashy colors; pick out some clothes which have dark colors, preferably…black…”
“Understood, your highness!”
“And another note, don’t call me your highness, call me master—aren’t I your master?” Cian asked, his eyes flashing as he watched her.
Ruka’s face still flushed, nodded. “I understand, your—Master,” She hesitated at first, but in less than half a second, she answered with a very resolute reply expressing her determination.
“Very good, the fact that you can answer so quickly makes me very happy.”
After rummaging through the closet, Ruka finally chose a black set of clothes and a dark-purple colored robe embroidered with a dark gold flowing cloud pattern.
After which, she escorted Cian outside his room, going towards the bathroom.
This was the very first time; he would step out in the sunlight after coming into this world. He sighed as he faced the brilliant rays of the sun, feeling a little bit melancholy. This world will be his new world now… as for his family left in Earth, Cian didn’t bother.
An Assassins family was completely different from a normal family—they don’t have a familial bond!
Only benefits. Especially his family whose blood contained the ‘demon’s blood’—now that one mention it, it was probably the reason why Night had chosen him—because of his blood.
[ Blood Release ]
The space within 100 meters became one’s personal world. Everything that exists; from a drop of water to a grain of sand can be captured. Fully grasping hold of everything in one’s head for a second, and then bursting one’s body to its limits...
—Faster than the speed of a bullet; an act that tore through the law of physics while mocking the thing called [Common Sense].
However, this [Blood Release] isn't omnipotent as it could incur harm to the user as it required death as compensation. By using it, one could end up dead. That was the [Common Sense] as it made the blood circulation throughout the body became exceedingly faster, causing the brain and heart to overflow with blood and eventually explode.
—yet only Cian in the entire history shattered that so-called [Common Sense]. He could use it for one-second without dying-though the price he pays is quite significant. He would be bedridden for a few days after using.
This was the ability that made their clan feared for a hundred of years.
However, this was also the ability that imprisoned them for eternity.

Gods of Arkanoth
The hunter has been betrayed, left alone in the streets of a lugubrious district. Only one goal appears in his eyes: to avenge himself. In his quest to avenge himself, he'll encounter an enigmatic scientist who seems to hide his true nature, a savior pretending to be a God, and the terrible truth of those words, bringing him against something he'd never thought he'd have to affront. This is the odyssey of the hunter, in a quest to put a long overdue end to a war between two worlds. // What to expect:The beginning will surely be intriguing, most of what's happeing won't be directly explained, although there will be some hints about their true roles, but do not worry about some subjects never leaving that misty fog that is unanswered questions! The novel is divided in two parts, the first focusing on uncovering the well-hidden secrets the city of Arkanoth hides, be it concerning its making or its inhabitants. As for the second part, it will be an expedition into the unknown, we could, in a way, say the true start of the journey our three heroes will undertake! I won't say anything more about the second part or else I might tell you an important detail without realizing... As for magic, because yes, there is magic! Although you might not see the shadow of a spell in the first chapters, it will appear in later chapters and will be one of the main subjects of volume 2. There are three heroes, yes, but they will not appear directly. While the first two protagonists appear in quite the beginning, the third will take his time, taking some stroll in the Districts of Arkanoth while we focus on the story of the hunter. But that does not lessen his importance in the story a bit, trust me. What about these three heroes, you say? Well, they all have their own issues, from their character to their torments, and as the story progresses they will have to come clean with their past (character development is to be expected) and will find their reason for fighting, braving all odds. I draw my inspiration from mythology, more precisely Aztec mythology. I want to stay true to a certain extent about it and all the relations between the gods and their role, however I will still change some things to my liking, so do not expect for all of the mythology to be respected to the letter. Finally! I have to say English is a foreign langage for me, so I might not choose the best words or straight-up miswrite something, if it bothers your experience, just tell me in the comments and I'll look into it! It is also my first time writing a book, so some parts might seem sloppy, but I hope I will be able to improve throughout this journey so as to give the most enjoyable reading experience to you. // Who might enjoy this story: Firstly, if you like deep lore and stories in which past plays a big role, you will like how everything unravels to show the hidden truths of the world. However if you do not appreciate not instantly understanding what's happening or who - or even what - this person might be, then you might not appreciate the story. There will be disturbing and gore descriptions, so if you're sensitive, don't like reading about someone being beheaded and such, you should probably pass this one. There is strong langage, although I won't abuse it, I won't be lying saying no insults will appear. Finally, the heroes will not always win, they will sometime lose battles, be it important ones or unimportant, and they will, most of the time, not come out unscathed from those. // Time Schedule : once every two sundays at 7:pm Ps : feel free to tell me if something is bad, or feel wrong with the book, it really helps me. I've written till' chapter 4 (in my mother tongue, so I'll still have to translate), however I'll make some minor and major changes, thus it will take some time to post them. Schedule will probably not change after releasing chapter 4, so don't worry, it won't take even longer to post a chapter than it already is. Enjoy the ride :)
