《Towards the Light》Succubus and Angaellis

Thank you all for the support thus far. I've been progressively trying to make the chapters longer, and have realized that my current chapters are nearly twice as long as the beginning ones. I'll try to continuously improve. I'd like to remind everyone that I appreciate any and all constructive criticism. Thanks!
They walked until they found another clearing. This one was smaller than the last, and only contained a hooded person.
Warning: You have entered the boss area presided over by Lilith the Succubus
‘Well, at least we are in the right place’
Abrum summoned his sword and pointed it at the hooded figure.
“Lilith, I have come to end your reign of seduction and mischief. One has taken away the father, the husband, the brother, and the son from all the ladies of the town. They mourn the loss of their loved ones. The culprit is you! This will no longer go ignored. Prepare t—“
Abrum’s “magnificent” speech was cut off as he was tackled by Bella and Tella. He looked confused until he saw their faces were flushed red. He looked at the succubus, and could see a large smile beneath the hood.
“Master… I can’t wait any longer.” Bella moaned out seductively as she straddled him
“MMmmmmmmm. Master’s smell…” Tella said as she rubbed up against Abrum’s side.
To describe what was going through Abrum’s mind could easily be described in one word. Panic.
‘What the heck am I supposed to do in this situation?! I thought succubi controlled men and incubi controlled women!!!!! What is going on?!’
These were the thoughts that proceeded through his mind as Bella and Tella proceeded to grind him. Bella clung to his left arm while Tella clung to his right. The cloaked figure laughed at Abrum’s exquisite expression and walked slowly towards him, her pale legs proceeding and receding into and out of the cloak. She removed her hood and Abrum’s breath left him.
Her face was beautiful. Her pale face was contrasted by the blood red lips and eyes that adorned her face. Her luscious golden hair fell gracefully around her face. Her expression was wickedly seductive. A lush red forked tongue poked out and trailed along her florid red lips. She smiled at him and began to walk towards him. Her cloak fell and pooled at her long slender legs. It revealed her figure. To describe it in one word is difficult. Ravishing. Her figure could be described as sinful, yet perfect.
She was a tall beauty, around 5 feet 7 inches, with a voluptuous bosom, and slender legs. She wasn’t wearing much. At this point, Abrum just closed his eyes. See no evil.
Of course he wasn’t naïve enough to go without a way of sensing his opponent. His aura sense would be able to track Lilith better than his own eyes. She was still advancing, though her aura was tinted black. Abrum knew something was wrong.
Abrum extended his wings, knocking both Bella and Tella off of him. He used his wings to flap back. Thankfully, Bella and Tella were knocked out when they hit the ground. He felt remorseful for his actions, though he was glad they weren’t hindering him at the moment.
‘The advances aren’t unwelcome though…Stop it!! Focus!’
He screamed to himself. Lilith had stepped back in surprise when she saw his wings. Her aura indicated she was happy. There was another color mixed in her aura. Hopeful? That didn’t make sense. Abrum’s thoughts were interrupted when she summoned her weapon. A scythe. A long black pole with a wicked blade at the end.

“So you have come to slay me then Angaellis? Do your worst! Just because I can’t charm you doesn’t mean I can’t defeat you! I am not afraid of death! I ACCEPT IT!” She screamed and rushed at him with inhuman speed. She slashed when she was ten feet away. His spidey senses went off and he dodged. The trees behind him were sliced. Abrum was surprised at the development.
‘Crud… long range? This is gonna be interesting.’ She kept swinging and Abrum kept dodging, leaping, twisting turning. While he was doing this dance, some of the slashes caught him in his abdomen. He coughed in pain, and used his wings to propel himself up onto a tree branch.
Lilith took the opportunity to conjure magic into her hands and point it at Abrum. A beam of black energy erupted from her hands, crackling, sparking, fizzing. Abrum dodged, but even though he had dodged the main energy beam, he still was caught by the dark lightning that surrounded the beam. He fell and hit the ground, hard. Lilith strolled up to him. She loomed over like an angel of death. Raising her scythe, he could hear her sob quietly, but why? Abrum just smiled, and parried with his blades. Close combat, this was His territory. He caught the second strike between his twin blades and pushed her back using his wings to propel himself forward.
She jumped back and twirled the scythe expertly and came at him with a slash to the abdomen. He blocked it and was pushed back. She swung again, this time moving the blade behind him and cutting a light gash across the small of his back.
Abrum hopped back wincing in pain. This grimace was then replaced by a smile. This was a real battle. Spinning the scythe, she charged at him again. This time, she used it in a circular motion to slash out at his neck. Abrum ducked and swept her legs out from underneath her and made to stab her on the ground. She curled her body feet facing the air and used the scythe to propel her feet right into Abrum’s jaw. Abrum stumbled back and was barely able to stop the blade that would have slashed across his back again.
‘Dang she’s good. This is annoying having to defend from the front and the back. She can strike me anywhere with that weapon.’ Abrum thought as he blocked another slash to the back. He slashed at her and she blocked with the pole of the scythe and used it to push him back. She slashed again but missed. She used the momentum of the swing to carry the scythe over her shoulders into her other hand and slice dangerously.
‘I have to get under her guard. A scythe’s main strength is its length, but that is also its weakness. Once I’m past the blade, her options will be limited.’
She was twirling the scythe and came again. He ducked under the swing and slashed upwards with one sword. She blocked the sword with the pole, but not before Abrum stabbed her with the other. She jumped back with a slash, clutching the wound in her abdomen. He smiled when he saw that it had worked, and charged again. She watched him closely, and then slashed downwards, burying the scythe in the ground. A dark wave of energy proceeded in a straight line towards Abrum. He jumped over it… right to where Lilith was. She had used the scythe’s handle as a springboard and met him in the air. He tried to change his trajectory, but to no avail. She made a sad face and slashed downward. He twisted his body to avoid and then slashed with both swords, twirling in a magnificent circle of death, his blades making lines in the air. Blood flew out behind her, the red droplets twinkled in the air. She hit the ground, hard. She lay there, blood spilling out of her abdomen. She looked up at him.

“Kill me. I have no desire to live like this any longer.”
“What do you mean?”
“Stealing men? Whoring away just so I can survive? This is hell. I can’t even be with anyone without killing them. That is the way of a succubus. Unending torment. Though succubi are creatures of lust, we are denied love. I thank you Angaellis, for granting an end to my torment.” She said with such bitterness in her voice that it made Abrum flinch
Abrum looked at her with eyes that were shocked. How could he kill her? The one that suffered so. Alone in a world that dictated that she would die if not whore her body away? He looked at her with compassion. His blue eyes conveying unfathomable empathy. He knelt down to her, her blood streaming out on the ground and said these words.
“I will not let you die. I will not. I will free you from your torment though.”
She looked up at him. Her eyes filled with anguish.
“Do not give me false hope Angaellis, if you are so good, then end my torment.”
“And so I shall.”
Abrum’s weapons vanished and he laid his hands on the wound. He had 1450 health points left from his fight and all 250 mana points.
‘Oh please let me have enough. Please!’ He called out in his mind to his God.
“Purify.” He said in a soft voice.
Consumed 250 mana points.
Consumed 1254 Health Points in place of mana points.
A bright light surrounded the succubus as she had a look of utter surprise on her face. As the light started to fade, he heard a little noise.
*Ding*
*Ding*
‘Oh great, what did I do now?’
As the light cleared, Abrum gawked at the changes in the succubus. Her eye color had changed from blood red to neon blue. She was dressed in a long, flowing white robe. It was a bit low cut, but that wasn’t what Abrum was gawking at. What he was gawking at was the two feather wings that were sprouting out of her back.
The shock on his face was mirrored by Lilith who looked at her new wings. Her mouth hung open like a broken box. Abrum checked the message box that had just popped.
Congratulations, you have succeeded in purifying Lilith the Succubus. Due to the purification, she is now Lilith the Lesser Angaellis. She will be loyal to you as her master.
Completed: Subjugation of the Succubus, Sub-questType:Training/EventDifficultyE+[tr]The succubus that plagued the town of Hillshir is no more, instead, a new Angaellis is born. You have saved the towns men like Andrea asked. Also, you liberated her husband, Orion.
Lilith looked up at Abrum with emotion in her eyes. He didn’t understand half of the different colors swirling around in her aura. What he did understand was that she was happy. That much was apparent by the dazzling smile on her face. She knelt down in front of him.
“I have no idea how you did it but you did. You saved me from my suffering. Not only that, you gave me a new life! One free from the requirements of a succubus. I can never repay you for your kindness.”
At this Abrum nodded sheepishly.
“I have made my decision. I will dedicate this new life to the one who gave it to me. You are my lord my one and only, and I will do everything in my power to serve you. I hereby dedicate myself to you… What is your name?”
He smiled down at her and said
“Abrum… my name is Abrum.”
Lilith and Abrum returned to the village, dragging Bella, Tella, and the rest of the men. It was hard work needless to say. While they were doing so, some women started to come out. They saw their husbands, their children, their brothers, their fathers. They called out to the other women, and soon, they were swarmed.
Soon, men started to come out of the forest and run into the arms of their beloved families. It was a truly touching scene, and Abrum was truly happy to be a part of it. Bella and Tella came around. They perked up their ears when they saw Abrum, but immediately flattened them when they saw Lilith.
“Who is this master? A new friend?” asked Bella
“She is the succubus. I purified her, and now she has sworn fealty to me. Oh, that reminds me.”
Abrum replied as he put his hand on Lilith’s. A light shown and a collar like tattoo appeared around her neck. It looked overtly sexual with her form.
“That is the Mark of the Angaellis. It will protect you from any subjugation magic so you won’t be put under a spell. You can move the mark around, it doesn’t have to be around your neck.”
“Mi’lord saved me, and I dedicated myself to you. Am I not mi lord’s?”
“Ummm.” Abrum said as Lilith moved and grabbed his arm.
“What do you think you’re doing?!” Bella said while tackling Lilith.
“Master is ours! You can’t have him!” Tella said in a loud voice.
Abrum just sighed and turned to the two people that had approached him. It was Andrea and Orion.
Andrea stepped up and said in a quiet voice
“Thank you for saving my husband. You have no idea what you have done for this village. We will forever be in your debt!”
“I must thank you for returning me to my wife. I am also sorry about the wounds I inflicted upon you earlier. I think I deserved that kick to the balls. We have no way to repay the kindness you have shown us. Take this and our ever-lasting gratitude.”
He handed Abrum a belt. He used his identification skill.
Orion’s BeltType:???Durability:?? / ??Quality:??????
Abrum accepted gratefully and they both turned and left. He turned around to see Lilith sitting on top of the foxes with a satisfied smile on her face.
‘*Sigh* It’s going to be a long trip back.’
Suggestions for Orion's Belt abilities?

Vemödalen: From The Other Side
War is coming - And when it comes - And where it comes - And whence it comes - The living shall envy the dead One to carry their sword in the name of their goddess and lady, to protect their land and people against the threat of the wicked. They know their path to be the righteous one. One to roam the land, hunting for all apparitions, and be scorned by man and beast alike. They know their path to be an arduous one. One to wander the realm in search of power, to protect themselves and what they believe in. They know their path to be the only one. Writers note: The first chapter will set the standard in terms of mood for the remainder of the story. It also comes to no surprise to me that half the people who read the first part stop reading any further. It has quite a bit of the good ‘ol ‘ultra-violence’ mixed with a great deal of realism. As much as I could fit into it from my own knowledge and experience in the elite forces. The first few chapters will be slow, after, but starting from ‘Restless Destroyer’ the remainder of the world will start to open up, and when we hit ‘Adronitis’ the prologue is largely finished. The novel is well thought out and filled with hidden lore, culture, history. So even if my word choice appears random – it’s not. There is a reason why these chapters take as long as they do. Vermodalen is fantasy adventure, with magic and heroics in an as realistic setting as I could fit. Things are rarely what they seem, and the ugly nature of people bleed through the letters at the turn of every page. I hope you can give this story a fair chance, even if it isn’t immediately to your taste. Lastly, english isn't my first language. It isn't my second one either. So, if you find errors in grammer and spelling, wordplay and sentance building, do let me know, and you will be rewarded by a surge of dopamine that will be released inside your brain for helping someone whom you haven't even seen or heard.
