《Legendary Elemental Knight》Chapter 24: Second Inheritance

The Energy Dragon roared ferociously, as if shaking itself from invisible shackles that bound it till then. As I hurriedly refocused my mind into my Dantian, the dragon has already charged into my Spiritual Veins, like a bull dozer on a race track.
But as it flew out from my Dantian, a part of the Energy from the Dragon split itself and stayed in the Dantian region in the form of a smaller Dragon. It coiled around itself and laid itself in a corner of my Dantian as if it fell asleep.
The Energy Dragon rushed out of my Dantian, and filled my entire Spiritual vein Network in my body. Not even a single Vein is left unoccupied. The veins started bulging under that pressure brought by that Energy Dragon. But they went through the constant nourishment of the supportive Energy provided by the Seed, and were baptised by the Blood Essence of the Red Energy of the First Inheritance. So, I was confident that even though they felt constricted, my Veins’ resilience can bear through the assault of this Energy Dragon.
As expected, the Veins stretched to their limit but the Dragon Energy could not break them. After a long time of that constricting feeling all over the body, the Energy Dragon started circulating in the Veins in the same pattern of that of normal Spirit Cultivation.
As the Energy Dragon surged through the Spirit Veins, the Veins yet again started to expand by several times. Even without the destruction – reconstruction cycle, the resilience of the Spirit Veins did not drop a single point. In fact they were growing stronger and more flexible.
The world within my Spirit Veins has been expanded crazily, and the Energy Dragon can be compared to an unbelievable strong force tunnelling through them making them crazily surge with a tyrannical aura.
That tyrannical force eventually made its way past the Spirit Veins, and entered the muscles, bones and even the skin has changed under the Energy Dragon’s influence. I could feel my physical body changing, being strengthened to a point, that I felt that as if I transcended the mortal shell into something tyrannical. This strength evidently came from my Blood line, the Draconian Race.

This strength did not feel as something foreign or which came from an outside influence like Body Cultivation. It felt as an integral part of my existence, something that I was born with. In a sense, that may be true.
So this is what my father meant by the tyranny of Draconians, encompassing the physical strength of a Dragon in a Human form.
At the same time, just as with the Fiend God Legacy, two bright bluish green threads appeared from the Energy Dragon just before it was completely absorbed by my body. One of them went into my brain, transforming into a cluster of information. Amazingly, it was not a cultivation technique as I first thought. It was a description of an ability achieved by me from the Awakening of the Blood Legacy.
“Dragon Sense”
The Dragon Sense skill is a type of sensory skill inherent to only the Dragon race. The worldly perception of Dragons is radically different from the world we sense through the five senses. A Human’s senses can only observe the world in a physical state. They cannot directly see the ethereal substances like energy or aura in the world. But the Dragons possess the extra-ordinary sense that enables them to see these substances.
But Draconians are a different concept. They are the result of Dragon- Human cross breeding. Although they do not possess the physical aspects of the Dragon’s Senses, the ability of the Dragons present in them due to the Blood Line of the Dragons, changes the physical senses of the Human body. In my saintly words, it can be said that the hardware of the human body now runs on different but upgraded software downloaded from an external server.
The other bluish green thread made its way into my chest area, and finally disappeared. The place where it disappeared gives me a hint that it went into my Soul Realm, but I cannot enter the Soul Realm nor can LILY. I can only pray that the Energy Thread will be gentle in dealing with my Virgin Soul.

Inside the Soul Realm…
If Azalon could see his Soul, he would have dropped his jaw to the floor. The Soul Resonance Cultivation Technique he practised split his soul into 58 Soul Fragments. But what he did not know that, after they had been split, 56 of the Soul Fragments arranged themselves into 7 groups with a single color flashing inside them.
The remaining two Soul Fragments had a color within them, and they were revolving around each other. The 7 groups of Soul Fragments were revolving around these pair of Soul Fragments in circular orbit, each with a different orientation.
But right now, these 7 groups of the Soul Fragments were consolidated into a Single Soul with a different color from the original bluish green color of his Soul. It could be said that the 7 Souls can be considered as a separate entity from the Original Soul.
As the Energy thread bore into the Soul Realm, the Souls revolving around themselves suddenly stopped. Immediately the Energy Thread dissolved into gaseous state, and completely enveloped the entire Soul Realm. It started contracting until it covered only the region the Soul Fragments were present. It looked like a sphere of dense fog roiling in a vast space.
It then split into 9 smaller spheres, each sphere surrounding an individual Soul Fragment. The Sphere of fog covering the Main Soul started contracting until it bore its way into the centre of the Soul. It appeared as a single drop of liquid flashing brightly within that bluish green Soul.
Suddenly, a loud roar resounded through the entire Soul Realm, as the liquid drop in the Soul changed into a Small Dragon, which raised its head and loudly roared. As the roar spread out, the fog spheres surrounding the 8 Soul Fragments changed into liquid drops in the Soul, before changing into 8 small Dragons.
8 different roars spread through the Soul Realm, as the Dragons in the Soul Dragons appeared. What was more surprising is that the color of the Dragons in the Souls changed from their original bluish green to the color of whatever the Soul Fragment they occupied. At that time, they appeared to be 9 different Dragons instead of 9 different parts of the same Dragon they appeared from.
A small halo like ring appeared above the heads of each of the Dragons in the Souls. The rings shone brightly once before disappearing. If you can observe carefully, a crystal was formed on the head of the Dragons, pulsing brightly. As these Crystals appeared, the size of the Dragons grew by a small amount. As to the prominence of these Dragons and the crystals on their heads, Azalon will come to know only after a long period of time.
Even though this took a long time to explain, only a few moments passed in the real world for Azalon.
After the Energy thread disappeared into my Soul Realm, I felt a slight stirring in my Dantian. With the appearance of the Energy Dragon, I forgot about the smaller Energy Dragon still in my Dantian. As I hurriedly changed my inner view to the Dantian, the smaller dragon slowly raised its head.
The body shrunk to almost one- fourth of its previous size within the time my body absorbed the larger Energy Dragon. The previously gaseous Energy that made formed its body appeared to be almost liquefied under the shrinking of the size of the Dragon.
The liquid Energy Dragon suddenly moved and crashed with my Dantian.

As I watched in horror, with a loud crack, my Dantian collapsed under the attack of that Dragon…

To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.

Life in the New World
On the Hiatus: I began writing this novel when I was, in all honesty, very bad at writing. I hope to revisit creative writing in the near future and I plan to, at some point in time, revisit this. I am flattered that many people have taken the time to read this story, but it is not what I intend to start with, as it will likely need a hard rewrite in order to correct many of the more glaring issues it has. Join our hero and follow his exciting adventure through a newly changed world! WARNING their will be violence, profanity,, and gore in this fiction. if any of these make you uncomfortable this is not a story for you turn around and walk away now!!!
