《Winter Sovereign》Chapter 53: All passed

"Oh. How envious. I'd like to hear about it too..."
Lilia sighed.
"Well, since your companions aren't finished yet... Perhaps I can tell you about it some more?"
The proctor spoke.
"Wait. There's not enough time for that. Furthermore, we can't keep restarting this story after each of our companions pass."
Serra spoke quickly to stop them.
"Well... That's true."
"Ah... What a pity..."
Serra consoled Lilia.
"Don't worry. After we pass the last trial, I'll tell you all about it afterwards."
"Really? Thanks!"
That reassured Lilia.
"Well then... How about I tell you a bit about the last trial?"
The proctor said some important words.
"The last trial? Is it alright to disclose something like that?"
"Of course. You've already spoken to other teams that both passed and failed, right? Therefore, it's not really something to worry about. These three trials test one's abilities and qualification. Even if you know about it beforehand, if you don't have the capability to succeed then it is pointless."
It's little wonder that those teams willingly spoke and there are records of the various trials.
Come to think about it, the various sects even went out their way to train and prepare them for the trials...
They wouldn't have done that if they didn't know what kind of trials there were...
"That's true..."
"Now then... The proctor for the third trial is a hot-blooded musclehead."
"Musclehead?"
"That's correct. His trial would likely be fighting against him. That's the kind of guy he is. Well, there's a handicap and all... The thing about him is that he favors brute force above all. Fight him with well-coordinated tactics and cunning traps and he's sure to fall."
"Understood... We'll make preparations for it then."

Lilia responded.
Serra began to ponder a bit.
"Hm... A musclehead eh... Well, so long as we avoid a direct clash we should be able to bring him down."
He spoke.
"We should discuss this with the others later."
"I'm out!"
A cheerful voice spoke.
"Hm? Aies!"
"Eh? Big Sis Lilia and Serra!"
Aies came out of the door and was really excited.
"How was the trial?"
"I passed!"
She shouted with joy.
"Well done!"
"Congratulations."
They praised her.
"Oh dear? You three are done?"
"Eh? I'm the last one out?"
Two voices followed suit.
"Seileen! Luisa! You both passed?"
"Naturally."
Seileen spoke with certainty.
"Who do you think I am?"
Luisa spoke with pride.
"Alright. With this, all five of us passed!"
Lilia spoke with joy.
"It's too early to rejoice. The final trial awaits us."
Serra interjected.
"Eh, don't be a spoilsport Serra!"
Aies spoke.
"He's right though..."
Then, the proctor spoke.
"Congratulations. All five of you passed. Proceed to the final trial. I pray you five do well in the tournament."
"Thank you. We will."
Lilia spoke.
"Let's go!"
Then, she spoke to her team and they all left.

He remembered being a better person, in another life. That was before he was reborn into a royal family of unparalleled power, and into a world that wouldn't feel out of place in a fantasy series.
