《Winter Sovereign》Chapter 22: Introduction

"We currently have our scouts near the city, however, they've reported seeing a figure flew up from within the city. We can deduce from this that whoever was there has recently left."
There are scouts that are indeed near the city. They have various communication artifacts and methods that allow communication from a far distance.
Although they did indeed see someone leave, the scouts did not enter for fear of any surprises that being left behind.
"So, should we send the scouts out towards the city?"
"No, it's too risky. Furthermore, we should determine why that person would bring back that continent and that city to begin with. The continent is quite lifeless though."
"Indeed. We need to determine why."
One respected figure rose up.
"This old one thinks that the being who used his power to raise the ruined continent would be a senior from the ancient era."
"What?"
"That's impossible!"
A survivor of the ancient era? How's that possible? Someone from that era actually lived up until now and is still alive?
"That's the only conclusion I came up with. In our ancestral records, there is knowledge that the Emperor Realm is simply the first step."
This prompted all the listeners to listen carefully.
"In that ancient era, there was one being who broke through the Emperor Realm and ascended to a new world."
He paused then drew a long breath before speaking.
"That great senior left this world but left records of that ancient truth. I came upon this conclusion when I recalled what the name of the continent is. The Meis continent. You should be more familiar with it, right, Lucas?"
"That's correct."
Lucas nodded.
"The one who ascended was our ancestor. And his homeland was the Meis Continent that was ruined ages ago."

This drew many gasps and shocked the group.
"Wait a second. What was that senior's name?"
This drew silence.
"Name? My name is Serra Recquir."
An odd voice sounded out within the room.
They looked to the source and found the youth introduced earlier in the banquet.
He was sipping tea quietly in a free chair.
He smiled as he sipped tea.
This shocked the crowd once more.
How could someone get in here without anyone noticing him?
Furthermore, this was a gathering of the greatest experts in the world.
But Lucas and the three men in golden robes weren't surprised.
"I'm the one who raised the Meis Continent, my homeland, and forced the Demon Lord to withdraw his forces."
This shocked the crowd again.
They didn't feel that it's real.
This young boy, who could easily pass as their grandson, was the supreme expert who reigned supreme countless years ago?
"Wait, what proof do you have!?"
One of them cried out.
"That's right! How could we believe that a young child like you is the one responsible for all of this!?"
They all cried out.
"Aha... Proof? Very well. Here's your proof."
Serra smiled, then unleashed his aura towards them.
But restricted it to only this room.
Instantly, everyone present within the room felt a suffocating aura of power that inspired dread and terror.
After a moment, it ended, but everyone was drenched in sweat.
"So, believe me now?"
Serra asked with a smile.
"Yes yes yes! We believe you great senior!"
"Forgive us, our eyes were blind!"
They responded in panic.
"Well then, time to discuss some specifics and to detail my plans and intentions."
Serra smiled and revealed a mature aura that shouldn't appear in someone who looked so young.

Lost In Translation
If you're one to travel the roads, you may have heard of me. You may have heard my Names in the stories, the songs, and the whispers of the road. Perhaps you've even seen me during my travels, speaking to a bird of blue light, or on a city street, performing small acts for coin and repute. Or perhaps you may know me as the Skystrider, who walked with the wind. Or the Voiceless, a man of song without speech. You may know me as the Tutor, who taught the Lion of Summer how to fight, or the Traveler, who has walked all the roads of the earth. I am all of these things. And people have branded me a myth. But people don't understand what a myth is. They haven't heard the songs lost to our tongues, nor have they seen the things I've seen. They haven't gone to the places I've gone. My feet have walked the plains, the seas, and the clouds. I have spoken languages unspoken; tongues lost to time. I have sung to the earth, held the moon in my arms, and walked the roads that your heroes hesitate to even mention. I have outwitted Demons. I have danced with the Fae. My songs have been heard by lords of wind and ash, and my steps have echoed in the bellies of gargantuan beasts the likes of which you have never seen. These are what real myths are. And me? I'm no legend. I'm just the bard stupid enough to poke the real ones with a stick. Discord link here. This is my first full on story, and is mostly going to be a learning experience for me. It is going to be a story following the life of Arcius as a Dungeon God, with very few POV swaps, if any. If I make any errors, either in spelling or in grammer, please let me know, and I will endevour to correct them ASAP. I was inspired to create this story after reading the Scale Dungeon, by TheSilverGunner, here on RRL. It is a good story, despite having only a few chapter out at the time of writing this. I highly recommend that you read that story if you find this one interesting.
