The next day Antonia went out of the cave to look at the current situation. She may not be able to fight against the monster in the forest but she knows that no one would enter the forest and go as deep as the lake. So she would just stay at the lake and see if there are any kind of presence that entered.

It’s not like adventurers powerful enough to enter this deep would never appear, she just needed to see if there are any presences that aren’t monsters. If there are she would go back into the cave and seal the entrance.

“Now then ”

After uttering those words a transparent screen appeared before Xenados. The screen is similar to those that can be seen on RPG games. Seeing this, Xenados was not fazed, surprised or anything. In fact he breathed out a sigh of relief as he looked at the screen.

In most of the world's he’s been to as long as your soul had enough strength you could see information of anything and anyone as long as their soul was not stronger than yours. Of course since Xenados came from a modern world he feels comfort at seeing the information like that of one in an RPG.

Seeing his stats Xenados was shocked, although he is in a new world the status screen will never change. This is a fact given that it will show all the information on an individual in the best way for him to understand.

With this Xenados made it so that a level 1 on any skill would be equivalent to being experienced. In this case a level one in swordsmanship would be enough to warrant someone to become a knight. A level 4-5 would be eligible to become a royal knight. Heroes and demon kings would have 6-7 and having 8-9 would be short of impossible but it would be enough to be called legendary. And a level 10 would be equal to god. In other words if anything reaches level 10 it would be similar to having the strength of gods.

“Just how?”

Those were the only words he could say, after all even in his past life he was not able to reach level 9 at most he would be able to get a skill to level 8, forget about 10 getting a skill level of 9 is already impossible unless he is a god. But just now…

No matter how many times he checks it, the status really shows a level 10 in three stats. Though he would have liked it much better if he got those stats on something more offensive but defense could not be neglected.

Also it may be called “cheat” but in the end those are just resistances to pain, status effects and mental fortitude. He may have these three resistances but it doesn’t change the fact that he could easily get killed by a god.

He may feel less pain from the tragedies that are to come his way but if his body can’t take a hit then this three skills are just detrimental to him.

First of all the pain resistance would indeed lessen pain but with his sense of pain becoming numb his natural instincts would not kick in. Having bravery to charge into battle is admirable but that’s that, you are admired but in the end dying if you die, then what?

Xenados understands his own body and knows that currently many could kill him without even batting an eye. With this pain resistance reaching a god like realm he fears that if he ever get’s into a fight he would not know when to stop. Even if he were to lose and arm he would not feel pain, that is how powerful the resistance is. But having a weak body with that much pain resistance could only lead to death.

Next is his mental fortitude, he found the expression of Antonia weird especially when he told her about his plans. And he just found out when he looked at his own reflection after seeing his mother dive to see what’s happening on the surface.

His eyes held no emotion, and when he tried to make himself sad, angry he can’t. It’s like he lost his emotions, he even released his past memories as a soul, when he wandered all the 100 worlds but in the end his expression made not a single change and even his mind which should be in chaos was able to relax and see things in a calm manner.

“Am I bound to become an emotionless monster?”

Xenados thought to himself as he stared at his reflection, his dead fish eyes, one red the other white, both having a dark evil pupil.

“If I remember there should be eye powers… but my skill… it could be that”

Passing through multiple worlds there are many things that Xenados knows would not appear in his status. One of those are powers that are a born of the essence of the soul.

Unique skills are either gifts from god’s or skills attained by certain individuals after fulfilling certain requirements.These kinds of skills are what one could call the geniune “Cheat” not only that these skills have no levels. The reason is simply because unique skills have no limitations, for example Xenados has the unique skill. This skill could be classified as a regular skill and have levels but the reason Xenados has it as a unique skill is due to him having the title of [Void Master].

Skills all differ and have different kinds of effects but these differences appear due to racial characteristics or the most important part the soul.

Xenados feels that at the time that the message of him getting the curse something happened to him, specifically his soul. There are changes that he felt from the time he regained consciousness but he was not able to understand what it was.

Shaking away the stressing thoughts Xenados instead started examining his other powers. Well all in all unless he understands what his unique skills are he would not be able to use them also his current skills… Vampirism could be sucking blood.

Currently the only thing he could try is what kind of powers his eyes have. His eyes are not the same he reckons that both have some kind of power and that they both are different.

His left eye having been change so much is obvious but his right eye holds more mysteries, to him that is. In fact no one would think that something is weird with his right eye but Xenados knows for a fact that both of his eyes were like that of a humans save for the red pupils before his drastic changes.

No one might notice but Antonia, Xenados and Sabien would be able to notice the change in the color of his right eyes pupils. Of course they wouldn’t think anything special about it but Xenados knows that there is something with his right eye.

The easiest way to understand it’s power is to look at the world with that eye. In his experience, when one has eyes with different powers, when using both of them at the same time no changes are seen but when isolated and used on their own the power of each individual eye would shine.

Closing his left eye and covering it with his left hand Xenados looked at the world through his right eye. With that although he didn’t cover or close his right eye he couldn’t see anything only darkness.

A question and choices pop out of the darkness, when he saw these changes he understood that he could share someone’s vision. Confused at who he would share vision with Xenados chose [Yes]. The next moment he saw blue, no to be more excat he is looking at a world underwater. He moved his vision and saw that the arms that were paddling through the water looked familiar.

“Those tattoos… MOM!”

Understanding this Xenados realized that he could share his mother’s vision and see what she see’s.

“This means that I could share my vision with those that have a connection with me… then how about father? Could it be distance?... No it shouldn’t be what else is there, could it be?”

Thinking about this Xenados came to a conclusion, the tattoos all over his mother's body are not simple marks of going through some sort of forbidden ritual. Actually those tattoo like marks make a connection between him and Antonia.

“Hmm?”

While realizing how amazing his eyes were he then saw a shadow on top of the water. Antonia slowly surfaced, her head rising only to reveal her clear purple eyes. In her field of vision a group of adventurers were looking around the lake.

Antonia dived once again and swam slowly nearing the lakes edge, Xenados understands and knows her plans but he wants to tell her to go back. He then remembers that there is a certain skill that he could use.

From one of the hundred worlds, a skill that could make one posses another, but Xenados now only used this to share a body with his mother.

As he did he was able to make his sense in tune with hers, an eighth of his soul has merged into Antonia’s body and just as it did.

“The demon and her offspring should have dived into the lake”

“There are no other tracks so they could have drowned”

“Our informant said that they escaped deep into the forest, both are in bad condition they may very well have drowned”

“The lake also has not a single monster so they should be underwater, *sigh* let’s go back”

“Wait! We could retrieve the corpses and make it look like we done them in, that could fetch us some cash while adding some points to our names”

“They could tell that the two were drowned”

“Let’s say we cornered them and made them drown to death, also the informant was obviously rich, if we get the two bodies and prove that they are dead we could get some high rewards from that guy, after all he did say “All you need to do is confirm that they are dead and I will reward you”, though he could evade it if we simply go out and say that they drowned if we brought back the corpses then we could get more cash. Anyway it’s just diving for two corpses how hard could that be”

The adventurers started laughing while they undress to dive and take the corpses. Not knowing that the two are still alive and Antonia had already slipped into the cave and closed the entrance with earth magic.

The ground slightly shook and the five adventurers noticed this anomaly. One of them a magician clad in yellow robes exclaimed, “Earth magic!”.

“Where?” ”Where?” “ Where?” “Where?”

The other four adventurers heard his words and asked in unison.

“Underwater!”

Hearing the mage's words the four people understood.

“They’re still alive huh”

“A cavern! An underwater cavern they must have hid there and now closed the entrance!”

“Quick! If we go in now we could still find where the closed entrances is, that large of an earthquake will surely have been cause by some huge moving earth. If we go now we could still find the bloodied knife!”

The five adventurers dived in haste and just as they found the large cloud of sediments underwater. Since the movement was done underwater the dust that was put into disarray has yet to settle giving out the area at which the entrance use to be.

“Puwah! Julius could you open up a passageway?”

“Heh, something that could easily fit the five of us is easy”

“Hey we could sell the demoness but since she is a demon it’s not like being used goods would make her price fall right?”

The five adventurers dived again and before they did one of them said something outrageous. Well in truth demons are treated as monsters but as they are still have some sort of resemblance to humans it’s not rare for these human like monsters to be sold in the underground slave trade. After all having a human slave is a crime but having monster slaves is seen as right and just in the eye of the church.

Humans may treat them as filthy monsters but since that is the case turning them into sex slaves is something that is seen as normal, but they still have to be sold in the underground auction, especially demons. There are churches that don’t allow having intercourse with monsters no matter how human like they are, and these churches hold great power especially in this continent.

As such people especially those in places these churches are located in are forced to make their hobbies secret.

Knowing that even if the demon is not a virgin they will still fetch a high price most adventurers and slave traders would play with them before selling them. Of course a slave trader would only do it once and if the customer has their eyes set on a certain slave they would clean her up and not touch her until the slave trader either picks her up or cancels the contract.

With vulgar smiles on their faces the adventures proceed to head into the opening created by the mage as they were thinking of things they would do to that demoness.
