I didn't sleep much as usual only three hours and then I got up and began to practice my magic again. I added my scientific knowledge about element and temperature conditions and came up with new spells. I had a light healing and some AoE spells for attacking and crowd control as I had been lacking those as well as the immortalized fireball spell. I also did a bit of physical training and read some books for some new skills as well.

In the morning when the girls woke up we had breakfast a food old-fashioned full English with mushrooms and fried bread added.The girls had learnt a few skills on their own and we were discussing them and the next lot to learn.

"So who wants to go first and let me know what skills they learnt?" I asked the group at large.

Virginnia decided to go first and took a deep breath before continuing. "I learned First Aid, Cooking, Tailoring, Gardening and Farming."

"I see and why exactly did you choose those skills?" I asked I was a bit sceptical of the last two.

"Well First Aid as we need to treat some wounds and until we know more about your healing spells and their limitations we will need something as a stop gap. Obviously I can't do major field surgery but I might be able to if I read more. Also if you run out of manna it can help in a pinch. Cooking because I like to cook and we will get excellent buffs from it. Also because I aim to be your main woman so I will be responsible for cooking your meals" she said shyly.

"Tailoring is for fixing or making cloths as I have also played some games and if we kill magical beasts we could make useful items or armour from them. Gardening and Farming because we will need to be self sufficient in the future and also if we find healing herbs and the like we can plant and grow them for our own use. Also if we have any animals that need raising for food."

"Ok excellent forward thinking. If you want to raise your cooking skill feel free to work in the kitchens making food for everyone. Making food for hundreds of people three times a day should raise it quickly."

"I got Speechcraft, Etiquette, Tracking, Leather Working, Hunting and Trap Making. The first two are for diplomacy and trade with other people and leadership if necessary. The last four are so we can use them in a defence or to get more goods or monsters and to track enemies or animals for resources. Obviously the Leather Working is for taking hides and pelts to make thinks like blankets or wine skins and light armour as well." Yuki explained

"Nice they will compliment Vi's skills a bit with the tailoring. You can get the goods and depending on what we want made you can both make us cloths and other useful things. I like that idea very much"

"I got Metallurgy, Mining, Prospecting, Metalworking and Blacksmithing. Simply because we need decent weapons and armour or failing that crap weapons and armour in excellent condition to give us an edge. Even a crap wonky sword can be honed to a decent finish and kill. The rest are for finding and gathering our own resources to do that. I understand technology makes thing easy but there is no guarantee that will work anymore plus with the world changing like this there may even be new islands or continent masses and the ones we previously might no longer be the same." Fran gave me a nice smile after that.

"Fine if you are insistent on being in a harem with me I don't want you turning into a female Arnie with bulging muscles or it ain't gonna happen" I joked with her.

"I learned Woodworking, Woodcutting, Sketching and I seem to have somehow learned Photographic Memory. The first two are incase we need ranged attack like bows and arrows and also for staves and the like. so basically I can shape wood and get the resources for it. Sketching is for enemy positions and travel routes and if we need to ask people for something like say a member of our group has gone missing and we need a sketch to find them. I did some memory training for fun and the last skill came up and I can remember places and people and where certain things are to a degree. Maybe if I level it up somehow it will improve." Annabeth told me with her usual cheerful but shy smile.

It seems that she only comes out and opens up when her inner women or otaku power has been stoked. They are all nice skills but a bit lopsided. I would have liked one person to have Hunting, Tracking, Trap Making and Sketching skills as that would make an excellent scout/assassin but unfortunately it didn't work out that way.

Maybe I can get them to learn those skills later and give them a single roll in the group...

"Well I learned Tactics and Strategy by reading old military history and by reading Classical Studies book I learnt the Bestiary skill. Means I can guess more on monsters abilities like how strong they are in relation to us and weaknesses as well as the best parts that would be useable from them. I also read some science books and got the Alchemy skill and because I was the first person in the world I got a bonus that at higher levels some of the potions I make can permanently affect stats. It also lets me make things like grenades by mixing chemicals. Lastly I learned that if we do physical training them our stats can be trained up as well."

"Now we know that skills can be learnt from books the hard part has come. Who do we trust to give combat skills to? Generally a dungeon like we are in has a final boss to beat to clear then we are free to go. That means we are going to need other people to fight and level up quickly to be ready to fight the boss and to protect the students that remain here afterwards. Also we will need to send out scouting parting in different directions to get as much information as possible and if necessary to guide and shelter survivors. I am thinking we need trustworthy reliable teachers and students that you guys can personally vouch for as well as the members of the student council and other class representatives. Also if possible people from the sports and martial arts clubs would be very welcome. Main this they can keep silent and loyally follow orders. We don't need a rebellion or someone to blurt everything out. Loose lips sink ships."

"I agree Robert and there are a select few that I can recommend as I am sure others can as well."

"Ok that's Vi if you discreetly gather them and the rest of you do the same that would be great as we can all go to the library together and from there do some level grinding. Yuki sorry but can I count on you to be the buffer between the teachers and student council?"

"Of course you can Robert. I am willing to assist you in any way all you have to do is but ask."

"Excellent once that is done and we can build up a solid team for defence and another for scavenging and looking for survivors. We still haven't checked the Tea Ceremony club or the dojo as I know there were classes going on for both of them at the time the shit storm started and we need to have a proper going over of the dorms as well. I realise the likely hood of anyone surviving in low and even if they did they would be low on supplies by now but we need to check them out and provide any aid we can. With the right numbers and right people our survivability increases. Find the people we need and we will do on a farming run tomorrow on this side of the academy as there are weaker monsters here. After that I will go on a scouting run to check the other side out and see what the situation is like before coming back here so we can come up with a plan together."

"Ok Robert that sounds like a great plan but before we go have you thought on the er, the h-harem yet?"

"Vi even you are asking me? Did you guys think it through and about what I said about the suspension bridge effect?"

"Y-yeah we did. We all spoke together last night and we despite some misgivings have decided to go through with it. Even if you disagree you don't have a choice in the matter. We all love you and you WILL accept our feelings. That way we know we can absolutely trust each other."

"Sigh I give up. Do what you want if it will make you happy and increase our odds of survival. I can't promise to be intimate right off the bat as I have never really deal with public displays of affection but if you guys are ok with it then I guess I am too. Just know that every guy like his own space and me time so don't be excessively clingy and if I say I need to be alone for a bit then I hope you will respect that as I will for you as well."

"Yay finally the Robert harem has been established!" Annabeth practically sang and did a little jig as she spoke this.
