"Ah, no, this" Aster was utterly embarrassed to the point that he was unable to construct a single sentence. It seems like this was the first time someone had thank him truthfully.
However, suddenly Lucia's brows furrowed as she look at him. Her eyes looked blank.
She stared at Aster's face, and did not say a word for a long time. Aster thought he had something on his face as Lucia continued to stared at his face.
Narrowing her eyes, Lucia stepped forward and smelled Aster. "You're ..."
“Wh..wh...what is it...?”Aster's tongue was stiffed in shock as he noticed Lucia's knowing smile, and for a while he was unable to let out a sentence.
Although she clearly heard his reply, but didn’t speak a thing, instead, her eyes were stubbornly fixated at him, as if she was trying to judge something.
And then,
“What, so that's it...”
Lucia showed a mean smile.
“Ha!?”
"Ah, no, Nothing~" Lucia smiled mischievously before turning her head towards Feme and Misuzu.
"You are blacky's ... friend ?" Lucia suddenly asked.
""Blacky?""
"Yeah, blacky~ "
"Ahm, are you talking about Lyle ?"
Lucia smiled at her question, afterwards she turned back and saw Lyle still sitting cross-legged under the tree.
"Hm, I guess so ... Lyle huh," Lucia muttered under her breath. Her eyes fixated on him.
His figure was looking wonderful under the light. He was different from the past but he was still beautiful.
... the Queen's adorable pet.
Seeing him like this, forced her to recall the past, which took place in the lonely castle filled with sadness and solitude.
When he was with Her majesty who was overflowing with impetuous passion, brightening up the darkness covering her ……….
She shook her head and quickly stepped forward towards him.
Ha~ that beautiful past, I wonder if her majesty will be happy if she saw him once again ? Will she wake up ?
At this moment, the expression on her face was quite different from the usual.
She was being very shy and timid, there were not many people in this world who had seen this side of her before, including the crimson haired woman and the others.

Her expression was filled with various emotions; Melancholy, sadness, loneliness, happiness, expectations, and many other things.
Misuzu, Feme and Aster felt a bit strange seeing her like this, hence Misuzu couldn't help but asked: “Ahm ... is something wrong ?”
“No, it’s nothin……”
With a bit of embarrassment, Lucia finally regained her senses as she continued:
“Lyle huh ...a very good name. That bastard, it seemed like he still have some conscience and returned here..."
Lucia cursed with a smile.
"D, do you know Lyle ?" Feme asked. Her heart beating in anxiousness.
Right now, a foreboding sense of anxiety was swelling up inside of her. Did she also
love Lyle ?
Lucia was in love; that was what Feme had concluded in almost no time at all, because she had been the same.
She noticed that Lucia had the same eyes that Feme did when she would fix her hair in front of a mirror before going to school in preparation for when she met Lyle.
“...”
Seeing Lucia looking at her with wide eyes; speechless, Feme immediately thought that she was correct.
Oh come on! There's already too many rivals! If it increased once again, how will I be able to stand up ?
This playboy of a fiancée!
Seeing the girl's strange expression while looking at Lyle, she became a little anxious.
Thinking like this, Feme continued to curse Lyle inside her but contrary to her feelings, her face radiated a smiling expression.
Who wouldn't feel happy and proud when their man is being desired by others? It just meant that he was truly an incredible man.
Thus, she had no intentions of blaming Lucia.
In addition, she; like her, Feme was also in love with the same guy.
Besides, she wasn't a narrow minded woman. To her, giving up on love because of the order in which people met or the order in which they fell in love with someone was too sad.
She believed that everyone should have a fair chance. Because in love and war, all is fair.

And because she found Lyle to be attractive, she felt it was only obvious that Lucia would fall in love with him too.
Besides, on this battle, although the headmaster seemed to be the one leading, she was still confident that she held the second position. Her status as the fiancée was giving her such confidence.
In addition, there was the promise between her and Lyle! And she believes that Lyle wasn't the kind of person to broke his oath.
Seeing Feme sharply staring at her, Lucia's heart which was already stopped beating a long, long time ago suddenly seemed as if it somewhat shivered out.
Hence, she promptly waved her hand, and said: "You're misunderstand something. 'We' don't held such feelings towards him.
... what's important is that I do know him but I'm guessing he doesn't know me ... yet."
Hearing her response, Feme tilted her head in confusion. "... then why did you know him ? A Fan ?"
"Of course not ..." Lucia chuckled slightly.
"Long story short, our destinies intertwined and he was just a family nothing more. Besides, 'She' was the only one who had the right to feel something like that."
“Ah...”
Noticing the change in Lucia's expression, Feme instinctively stopped moving.
The expression she had on her face was something she had never seen up until now.
Although Lucia was currently smiling, but it somehow held something different. was gentle, calm but somewhat lonely.
She felt like staring at that smile forever, but at the same time she wanted to do something about it.
It was a mysterious smile that greatly shook Feme's feelings.
"She ?" Feme tilted her head with an incomprehensible expression.
"And how do I put this ... anyway for 'us' he was a very important existence."
Lucia smiled. It was a gentle, wry smile one would show their clumsy sibling.
After saying this, Lucia started walking towards Lyle. Her pace was slow yet the people following her; Feme, Misuzu and Aster felt like she was running.
.... ...
At the time Lucia and the rest were exchanging words,, the battle above them was getting intense by the second.
Flying in the air, the black dragon suddenly expelled black flames forcefully.
Anger, despair and self-contempt surged from the crimson haired woman's heart like magma.
But virtually at the same time, a radiant pentagram manifested in the air.
As though trying to protect Ileana and the others, this pentagram appeared between the black dragon's fire and them, blocking the super high-temperature black flames.
This pentagram was formed from crimson flames.
While blocking the flames, the light forming the pentagram gradually changed in shape. A woman's figure.
--- It was the crimson haired woman.
"How annoying. A mere fake like you ..."
No sooner had the crimson haired woman grumbled when the black dragon immediately roared from the sky.
ROOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAR!
A ferocious beast's roar. Sadism firing up its eyes, the dragon stared down at the her.
"Too persistent you impudent bug!!"
Roooaaaarrr!
Immediately, golden lightning erupted from the sky. Above the black dragon was a beautiful woman with a golden horn and scales.
Crackling golden lightning appeared from time after time.
Struck by the electrical attack, the black dragon momentarily stopped in the air.
Presumably, it must have suffered a substantial shock.
At this time, the flaming figure charged at it and shot a huge fire ball with the size of a dozen basketball.
The black robed man also let out his attack. Twelve shadow lances appeared behind him and shot towards the black dragon.
This combination attack produced four lacerations on the black dragon's chest, splattering mercury-colored blood everywhere.
The black dragon wailed, unable to bear the pain. ROOOOOOAAAAAR!
However, in an instant the wound disappeared as if it was an illusion.
Seeing this phenomenon, Lucia who was watching on the ground muttered in a grave manner, "This won't do. Even if we go ahead, it might not be enough to defeat that fake."

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
