“Yeah” Lyle casually responded while parrying the Snow Ape arms attack by his legs and kick.

He really seemed like he was just playing with the Snow Ape that made the whole people who saw it very dumbfounded.

Even the ones who are fighting with the golden colored rhino didn’t know whether to laugh or cry when they witnessed this scene.

They were staking their lives on the line to fight yet he was fighting nonchalantly and was even talking and teaching at the same time!?

However, after hearing what Lyle was saying they couldn’t help but perked up their ears to listen to him. It was, after all, a rare opportunity.

Ignoring their stares, Lyle continued to parry the Snow Apes attack with his legs. “What you need to learn is how to manipulate your water element.”

“Manipulate ?” Misuzu asked curiously.

“Un!” Lyle smiled at her. “Water’s extreme advantage is its versatile and flexible nature … like this”

That water ball slowly transformed into another shape under Lyle’s manipulation. It then became longer and longer, its shape turning like a water whip.

The mana bursting out of Lyle’s body smoothly lengthened the length of the water whip even more, twisting agilely like a snake, turning into a terrifying weapon that was comparable to any kind of weapon under the earth.

The water in Lyle’s hand wriggled for a moment before it suddenly shot out towards the Snow Ape. It then transformed into a long rope-like form and bind the Snow Ape.

There’s a magic spell under the Fire affinity called; [ Fire Whip ]. It’s power was much more greater than this water whip but it would not be able to twist so agilely like the water whip in Lyle’s hand.

There’s no limit to the length. [ Water whip ] would certainly leave no way out for their enemies if used.

The Snow Ape tried to free itself but to no avail. The water rope only became even more tighter.

Misuzu and the rest were stupefied when they saw this. This seemingly little thing … it was actually a powerful elemental magic that could purely support its master as a weapon.

The stronger its master was, the stronger its power would be.

“You can use poison, right ?” Lyle turned his eyes towards Misuzu who was looking at the scene with sparkling eyes.

She then nodded her head excitedly.

“You can change the water to become a poisoned water to poison your enemies. You can either produce thorns from the water bind … like this … ”

The Snow Ape’s painful scream echoed in the forest. The poor animal felt like it was being tortured to death when the water that was binding it suddenly produced some thorns and penetrated its tough skin.

Seeing the pitiful state of the Snow Ape, the golden rhino which was riddled with cuts and wounds become extremely scared and immediately turned around and tried to escape but it was stopped by an invisible wall.

Seeing that Misuzu expressed the ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about’ face, Lyle could only let out a dejected sigh.

“Never mind, what I want to say is that if you want to use Ice magic, then you just need to lower the temperature of the water you’re controlling.” The water ball on his hand suddenly turned into a ball of ice.

“Lower the temperature ? How ?”

“You can do it easily by Water Manipulation~” Lyle said with a shrugged.

“People with Ice affinities can create and control ice. Although they had a stronger ice-manipulation ability than you which only has a water affinity, they still had a weakness. And that weakness is that they were limited to ice and cannot control outside of its form. And that is also the advantage of a water mage to an ice mage.” Lyle explained.

“Like many substances, water can take numerous forms, which are broadly categorized by phase of matter. The liquid phase is the most common among water’s phases; That is ‘Water’.

The solid phase of water is known as ice and commonly takes the structure of hard, amalgamated crystals, such as ice cubes, or loosely accumulated granular crystals, like snow.

The gaseous phase of water is known as water vapor or steam, in which water takes the form of a transparent cloud. These are water in the liquid form as minute droplets suspended in the air.

There is also the fourth state of water, that of a supercritical fluid. This state is much less common than the other three and only rarely occurs especially in nature, and can only be found in extremely hostile conditions. When water achieves a specific critical temperature and a specific critical pressure, the liquid and gas phases merge to one homogeneous fluid phase, with properties of both gas and liquid. But be warned, this state is much harder to recreate than the other three phases.

Anyway, these phases of water can be said to be the greatest power of water mages.”

“Always remember, a water mage like you can control anything as long as it has water. And by using these phases as a base, you can use powerful water based magic attacks. You can lower its temperature to create an ice magic spells or raise its temperature to create hot-boiling water to scald your enemies. You can also use a sneak attack by using and controlling the vapor around us which was hardly unrecognizable.”

Listening to Lyle’s explanation, Misuzu’s eyes couldn’t help but glint in expectation. If what he said is true then she can really become much stronger than any water mage in the world!

Before this, Water Mages were often looked down upon by other people. One must know, in terms of destructive power, Fire was at the top while Water was at lowest.

Water Mages can only be used in summoning water, healing and some other support roles.

Although Water Mages would transformed tremendously when they reached the S ranked realm as they learned some powerful spells like; [ Tsunami ], [ Water Cyclone ], [ Wave Smash ] and many other strong magic spells.

However, breaking through until S ranked is not by any means simple and easy.

Only one out of ten water mages can ascend that height. Those who can’t climb will then stay at the lower realm and become the weakest of all elemental mages.

“Anyway, if you want to know how to do it and become a water bender like Katar* then I can teach you some moves used by her. Or if you want to become like Ti*r Harribel, Yuk*hina, J*via Loc*ser or a water swordsman like Kis*me, then I can teach you a little~”

“Who are these people ? I never heard of them before ?” Misuzu tilted her head and showed a puzzled look.

Lyle ignored her inquiry and looked at Aster. “What about you Aster ? Do you want me to teach you too ? I also know some Earth abilities, you know~” He said while wearing a mischievous smile.

Although Lyle wanted to help these two to become even more stronger but what he was really after is something else …

Anime’s are fictions.

That was an undeniable fact but if he want to make the characters become real, then he could do so in this world.

He just need to teach these two their moves and eventually they will become the personification of them.

Thinking like this, Lyle couldn’t help but laugh out loud inwardly.

“Really~” Lyle gave him a smile. Then he once again faced the still struggling Snow Ape.

The Water rope binding it was already froze and become an Ice; maybe because of its ice abilities. Unfortunately, even if it made the water rope to ice, it was still controlled by Lyle.

“I can teach you some moves used by Wolf Har*to, Ari*s Kik*, and Jur* of lamia scal* … ”

Slamming his hand the ground, the earth under the Snow Ape suddenly opened wide and then swallowed the Show Ape alive.

With that, the fight with the Snow Ape, under the stunned gazes of everyone finally ended in a very, very one-sided annihilation.

For the next two whole days, Lyle helped and trained Misuzu, Aster and the others on their way to their destination.

When Lyle started coaching the two; Misuzu and Aster, two girls steeled their selves and asked Lyle to also join them. Thinking that it wasn’t really a big deal, Lyle let them in.

Following the two girls, were five people then without Lyle noticing, the whole group joined in. There were even instructors who seemed to have gotten interested in Lyle’s teaching and also joined in.

There are even some men who secretly hated and feared him before had endured the awkwardness and cooperated with the training.

— Thus, the treasure hunt group transformed into Lyle’s own personal class!

Their routine ultimately changed from; walking, eating, sleeping and once again walking towards the treasure to walking, training, fighting beasts, eating, sleep and then train.

During their travels, the group fought with several C to B-ranked demonic beasts and won according to Lyle’s instructions.

In these fights, Lyle didn’t participate as his main priority was to protect everyone’s safety while allowing them to train.

Aster had super physical strength which was double that of a normal human because of him being a half beast man; coupled with his Earth affinity, he possessed great talent and abilities.

Thus, Lyle thought him some moves such as; Stone skin which had a formidable defense, and Rock Spinning Bullet which had formidable attack power due to its piercing power.

Because of this, he immediately became one of the main pillar of the group.

The result from Princess Misuzu’s successful coaching was even more frightening than Aster.

Although her control with water can’t even reach to that of Lyle’s ability by even a third, her water manipulation was the highest compared from the others.

She can now bend the water at will and can use some high level water attacks taught by Lyle.

— With the addition of her poison ability, all her enemies in the future would certainly cry in despair if they confront her~

Lyle even taught her some dance-like moves used by certain benders while controlling water to attack and defend.

In just a short time, the group realized that they had achieved a month’s worth of improvement just by training for a day with Lyle.

They all had really improved by leaps and bounds.
