“Well then, tell me what happened?” Seeing him, Lyle’s voice changed into a cold one. His face devoid of any warmth.

The tall youth straight-facedly said: “Your Highness, we were ambushed.”

Although Lyle was only twelve years old with an appearance of a fifteen years old, the tall youth still held a very respectful attitude towards him. That was because of the strength he just showed a moment ago.

It really scared the tall youth out of his wits!

Lyle said in cold tone of voice. However, the hands that was stroking Misuzu’s back was still very gentle and even looked like he was afraid that if he exert more force, then the thing in his embrace might broke.

Misuzu naturally noticed this and she suddenly felt somewhat strange yet at the same time very happy. She then discovered that the burning big hands that was gently caressing her back gave her pleasant shivers reverberating throughout her skin.

The feeling of being cared to this degree was really incredible — she thought.

Because of this, she could not bear to release him for now. Instead, she tightened her arms that was hugging him and even thought that the feeling of him hugging her was an extremely comfortable one.

It somehow gave her a sense of security in her heart, and at the same time, the sensation of their skin pressing tightly to each other with their bodies and hearts becoming one, made her feel blissful.

The surrounding people saw their intimate actions and didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

They were really speechless. None of them could figure out how Lyle managed to tame such a tigress. When Misuzu dealt with other people before, her selfish and arrogant attitude was enough to terrify them. However, she was as docile as a sheep when facing Lyle.

Contrary to Misuzu’s happy expression, the tall man was sweating cold sweats and his body couldn’t help but trembled in fear when he saw the cold gaze coming from Lyle.

He felt that if he said something wrong, then his head would really fly out and rolled in the cold, dirty and rough ground.

Afraid to anger the tyrant Monster Prince in front of him, he used her vision to seek help from Misuzu.

Misuzu on the other hand know something was wrong but she didn’t feel a thing. That was because Lyle was holding her in his embrace, causing her to become the sole exception.

While Lyle was calming Misuzu down, who was acting meek and spoiled in his embrace, he leered at the trembling tall youth in front of him.

While the tall youth was still looking down, he could feel a pair of icy eyes glaring at him from behind that black hair. Then he heard a voice.

“When you found some ancient treasure map that you don’t even know if it is real, you just hastily went there without suspecting that it could be very, very dangerous ?!” Lyle coldly said. His gaze was as sharp as a sword, “You even involved this arrogant and naive little girl ? What would you have done if she was killed ?”

The tall youth felt that his heart almost broke into pieces. A sense of danger was running wild in him that made him feel extremely fearful. The rumors had said that this prince was the embodiment of violence … would he really kill him ?
