The whole night passed without any trouble at all. Aside from the two Iced Feathered Owls that the two beautiful foxes killed, there were no other monsters that tried their lucks to fight them, thus the rest of the night was uneventful

And Lyle peacefully slept the entire night.

Early morning the next day, with the sky just showing a glimmer of dawn, the sun slowly rose from the East, gradually brightening the whole world.

Although Lyle had seen this kind of scene every day, regardless of how many times it was repeated, the feeling brought out by that kind of light still would make his heart shake.

The terrain within the Enchanted Forest was extremely complex, there basically were no roads within the forest, so the work of making a path naturally fell to the materialize two beautiful foxes.

Using their fox sharp blade-like claws, swinging, cutting apart the brambles in front, without affecting Lyle’s movement rate a bit.

Lyle followed just behind the two foxes, his vision and hearing both heightened to their keenest state, cautiously and solemnly observing the surroundings.

Lyle and the two beautiful foxes moved forward for probably one double hour or so. By now it was already almost noon. During this time, they had already encountered not a few demonic beasts, but for the most part it was E to D ranked demonic beasts, so he choose to avoid them.

Killing them would only be like bullying the weak, so he let them pass without causing any direct conflict.

Although there were some beasts who wanted to sign King Yama’s invitation but he still choose not killing them and instead let the two foxes sharp claws drive them away with only small cuts and bruises~

Hearing Lyle’s call, the golden fox immediately turned into a black sword and immediately materialize on Lyle’s hands. Unlike Sakura flames, the black sword in Lyle’s hand was emitting golden lightning.

Slash!

With a swing of the black sword accompanied by golden lightning, the Flaming Mane Boar was instantly paralyzed and fell in the ground with a *Pump sound. It’s eyes bloodshot and its four limbs quivered momentarily, then grew still.

Lyle quickly jump in front of the Flaming Mane Boar’s motionless body, with an instant slash into the weak point at its unprotected throat while the boar was still paralyzed from Yuki’s lightning, he delivered the final blow.

Excessiveness was eliminated from all his movements, and his techniques were quick and his sword was heavy.

Just based on his prowess as a warrior, killing a D-ranked Flaming Mane Boar was not a tough feat for him.

“Hiss…” The small silver snake excitedly hissed as its eyes sparkled like a small child seeing a candy. It then rubbed its small head affectionately on Lyle’s cheek.

“I know, wait for a moment, okay~ ” Lyle gently smiled as he spoke, withdrawing some coarse salt and other ingredients from his waist pouch. “It’s a good thing I decided to bring some salt and other spices with me~”

Lyle was used to stay inside dangerous forest from his previous life. He was doing this from his martial arts training, extreme sports and adventuring …

A-ranked Demonic Beasts had a strength which was comparable to that of a two A-ranked mages or an S-ranked warrior.
