"Wh-What is it ... ?!" She frailly shouted as she immediately stood up while retrieving a short dagger on her pocket. Warily looking at Lyle, her facial expression was chilling cold.

She looked at Lyle with a weary look.

Surprised by her sudden behavior and voice, the whole class seemed to pause. Misuzu could only hear the sound of her heart being in her just.

She thought that, since she had seen him today while acting as if he had already forgot what happened in the past, he wouldn't do anything to her for revenge. But the reality was, now her heartbeat was even faster than any other time previous when she had met him.

She was scared ...

Totally scared ... ...

What if he took his revenge against her ... ?

She knows that she can't defeat him. He was far stronger than her.

Misuzu's heart thumped around wildly. She took heavy breaths as her chest heaved up and down. Under Lyle’s invasive gaze, she couldn’t help covering her chest with both of her hands. Her voice trembled, “You…what are you trying to do?”

Well, this is the normal reaction--- Lyle thought when he noticed the fear clouding Misuzu's eyes.

It was only natural to fear. It was inevitable to cower. Even Lyle wouldn’t blame anyone for that after all this time.

However, he didn’t plan to turn back without doing anything after already thinking that he couldn’t bear to look and calling out like this.

… He tried to say something smart to ease the atmosphere, but he couldn’t think of anything at all.

When Lyle's hand touched her shoulder, all the muscles in her body immediately tensed up and she suddenly felt Goosebumps. She was so nervous that she couldn’t even think anymore. This was a corner where no one else was around. Would Lyle let her go?

“Idiot!” Lyle coldly snorted and then his expression suddenly softens. Shaking his head, he looked at her gently. "Two days ago, did you fight some silver-eyed lizard?"
