《Re:Otaku Prince life in another world》Chapter 83: [ Bad Feeling ]

Aside from Sheila, Lyle wasn’t worried that Moori and Sasha would notice that a huge fight had broke out from the center of Academy City because he had [ Silent Sanctuary ] a magical barrier that keeps people away around his mansion.
It not only blocked mana fluctuations, but it also implanted the urge of not wanting to approached that place into those nearby. Because of that, just like the name suggested, Lyle’s Mansion had become an inviolable sanctuary.
Although it wouldn’t fooled Sheila’s godly perception, it was enough to isolate the house from the outside noise so Sasha and Moori shouldn’t be able to notice the commotion happening here.
However, if he suddenly brought this girl back, he would surely be showered by questions and would be nag like a little child. And answering it all seemed troublesome so avoiding such situation was the right choice.
In the first place, he didn’t know this girl so it should be better to not be acquainted with her…. but what should he do now?
What is the best course of action to take? Should he really take her back with him?
But that seemed inappropriate and troublesome~ she’s not an abandoned kitten after all…
At his wit’s end while holding on to the girl, Lyle was at a loss over what to do—
“Master? What will you do with that girl?” One of the black sword on his waist trembled.
“I don’t know, I’m still thinking about it.”
“But master, if you suddenly bring back this girl, won’t that headmaster of yours misunderstand something?”
“You have a point there … ” Lyle frowned his eyebrows.”… But what should I do then?”
While Lyle was ransacking his brain over this, Sakura, the seemingly older sister between the twin foxes suddenly said, “Master, it might be a little presumptuous of me but if you add another member of your harem, I will surely throw a huge fireball on your sleep … you got that, master ?”
Instantly, Lyle’s insides froze over.
The surrounding’s atmosphere became like a blizzard in the frozen mountains, what exactly was she worried about?
– Danger, this was a super huge danger, his instincts as a dragon told him.
“S-Sister, d-don’t be too hard on master. He is our Lord after all; you have to forgive his slightly ‘Mischievous’ actions. In the end, he got through with that little poison by using someone as a ‘Medicine. … I, I even already forgiven the fact that he didn’t even thought about us at that moment… so you should forgive master for it too.”
Spoken like an understanding, sensible lady, Lyle was touched by Yuki’s word at first however, hearing the middle of her sentence gave her a huge frostbite. She even stressed the words ‘Mischievous’ and ‘Medicine’ as if she wasn’t directing her words at him but herself.

On further thought, he realized this matter could easily be misinterpreted. No, he had not done anything against his conscience, so it should be fine—
Thinking about this situation really gave him a headache.
“Yuki, Sakura, I hope you can stop misunderstanding. What happened before was just a coincidence, as a gentleman, I ought to take respons—”
“H-Here you go talking like that again, Master! I-I know everything already!”
Yuki shouted at Lyle for his interruption.
“Since Master represents the pinnacle of popularity, you not only took turns enjoying love adventures with three girls, but not satisfied with that, you also established a relationship with the Academy’s Headmaster through playful and mischievous acts, so that later on, y-you will have a good foundation of your later conquest.”
“Oh, you have a point there~”
“P-Please don’t be ridiculous.”
“”… …””
“R-right, what should we do with this girl then?”
Lyle could feel the pressure coming from them while he was raising his objections, so he immediately decided to change the topic.
“… Changing the topic?”
“N-no, definitely not! I, I just want to go home immediately or else everyone would get worried.”
“”… …””
“Fair enough, okay, we understand … we’ll drop this matter for now.”
Phew~ letting out a relieve sigh, Lyle once again think about his current predicament.
What in the world should he do now? Carrying the unconscious girl in a princess-carry style, Lyle submerged himself on his thoughts.
… …
Letting out a sigh, after a few minutes of thinking, Lyle decided to dropped the fainted girl at the guard post and then go back. He can’t just take her back in the house after all. If not, these two would get ballistic on him~
Besides, if he did that, someone will bound to know that he was one of the main culprits that ravage the center of the Academy City. And that would be really troublesome!
It was a particularly difficult situation for Lyle, but he couldn’t just leave a young girl alone in the middle of the street. And so he began thinking of the best way that he could do with the unconscious girl. And so, he believed that dropping her in the guard post would be the best way to get rid of her.
It’s better to forget all the things that happened for now. For the white clothed man, it seemed like he needs to investigate some stuff … …
Unfortunately he couldn’t capture that so-called Master Snake; if he did he should have gotten some answers…
In fact, Lyle wanted to chase him down, to eliminate an evil like him thoroughly from the face of the earth, leaving behind a threat to oneself was not in his nature. But the problem was, at present, while using [Elemental Strengthening]; [Flame Body] he couldn’t cast any other elemental magic and thus couldn’t chase him down. He was also momentarily suffering a huge rebound at that time.

[Elemental Strengthening] was a strong skill but it possess a huge drawback; aside from an enormous mana requirement, only one element could be use one at a time. If he did, a huge rebound will happen …
During the fight, when Lyle released the [Onibi-no-okami], he tried to cast another spell [Cyclone Cage] a wind magic spell that summon a huge cyclone enveloping a person like a cage.
However, the moment he tried to do it, he was suddenly struck by a huge headache causing him to stop his actions. If not for this, he should’ve been able to chase that guy when he fled…
Haa~ this skill still needs some improvement.
Looking at the dark enveloped skies, Lyle narrowed his eyes and a sharp glint momentarily passed by it. “… A mysterious presence is starting to cover the world.”
Something is going to happen … for that, he was sure of!
… …
As soon as Lyle left, a middle-aged man that had a lion-like presence rushed to the battlefield with a burst of wind.
Seeing that there were many houses had collapsed, and the casualty was quite big, he was so angered that he began to cry out loudly.
The battlefield was an utter mess.
On the west were like a freezing hell. On the other side, there were small, yet to be extinguished fires dotting the area and some Infernos still ablaze.
However, miraculously the people who were found dead could only be counted in one hand.
This, of course was thanks to Lyle’s [Phantom World]. Although it was broken by Snake, it was still constantly activated and possesses enough power to absorb damage from both parties, making the force of their attacks slightly weaken when they leaked out from the real world.
The man stared in all directions, seeing how so many houses had been reduced to rubble, a blazing fury raged inside of him.
“… This must have been caused by a battle between powerful mages. A fire and Ice type at that.” Gritting his teeth, the man voiced out his thoughts. “…Investigate this properly. Two high ranking mages to do battle inside the Academy City … something bad must have happened.”
“Yes, milord.” Another man behind him nodded.
The man nodded as well. “If such an exalted personage as mages fought here nonchalantly, just what will happen in the future? What is it that is bound to occur?”
Shaking his head, his fist trembled in fury, “… Even if we find the one responsible for this, I doubt anyone would dare to criticize them, much less sanction or punish them.”
Mages had extremely high social standings in the society.
And a mage possessing such destructive power like this? Even if he was in the presence of a king, he would not need to kneel or show obeisance. He could just chat while staying standing. From this, one could tell how exalted a high rank mage held.
Normally, even an ordinary mage had the same social standing as a noble.
Not just that, in the [Red Rose Academy], only noble mages can be found. Thus, they were not someone who could easily be mess with. Although Academy City was known as a standalone country, it was just on the surface. Behind the shadows of the City, various powers coming from different kingdoms were still operating secretly.
The outrage in the powerful man’s eyes was evident. He couldn’t help but roar upwards at the heavens, “This makes me furious, too furious!”
To dare caused havoc inside the Academy City … that means that they were not scared of the consequences!
Thinking like this, the powerful man couldn’t help but tremble in anger.
A few people rushed over afterwards. When they saw the scene before them, they were so scared that they felt their legs go weak.
“What are you guys waiting for? Immediately clean the surroundings! The conference between kingdoms is happening soon. I don’t want them to see such an unsightly scene.”
… …
Aside from the furious men who were cleaning the battlefield, there’s also another one which was hiding not so far away from the place.
It was a figure wearing a black robe. His face covered entirely by its hood.
“Ha~ His Highness really knows how to drive this old me crazy … “Shaking his head while letting out a dejected sigh, the black robed guy slowly muttered.”… Oh well, I need to clean up this mess as soon as possible. I can’t have them find out the prince involvement after all. But still …”
Turning his head, the eyes of the black robed man suddenly become sharp as knives as he gaze at the horizon. “… Those people … I think I need to do some investigation before her majesty arrived.”
After saying that, the black robe’s figure flickered and disappeared under the darkness. Only leaving, a faint, almost indiscernible sigh.
