“KA, ME, KA, ME, HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!”

Shouting at the top of his lungs, Lyle shot a giant ball of light from his hands. It then fired of like a huge beam as if it was launched from a blaster by a gund*m.

The destruction caused from the ball of light he used was so great that it scorched the air as it was fast approaching the titan.

Boooooooooooom!

A deafening sound resounded through the whole forest, cutting through the air.

“Kya-!” The girl couldn't help but screamed as she was blown away by the shockwave caused from Lyle’s attack.

“Wha-What just happened?! What kind of magic was that?!” The girl asked, bewildered.

In what she saw next left her dumbfounded as she could not help but have her breath taken away from her.

Save for where she lay on the ground and the boy's sole position, the forest beside them had been ravaged by fire.

By some miracle they weren’t burned but the girl could see the magic's path of destruction.

And the hard-to-believe fact is that, the mysterious magic had reduced a portion of the forest to a field and the trees

and ground around them were incinerated and was even smoking.

Truly fearsome, its path only leaves nothing but burned and destroyed plants and trees. It was so strong that being hit by it means instant-death and without leaving any trace.

However, an unexpected event happened. The titan’s body glowed a golden light for just a moment, and during that

moment its skin cause Lyle’s attack to be repel.

Lyle guessed that it used a special Magic. Its inherent magic must be increasing its defense significantly.

“Impossible,” She thought, “Did that magic did this?! No, impossible! There isn’t any magic that could do such a thing!”

From what the girl know up until now, there is no such magic that can caused so much destruction except for high-level spell. But those spells can only be used by SS-rank up to SSS-rank mages.

The girl then thought he might have been using an artifact that could amplify magic power but she couldn’t be certain about what sort of medium he was using.

Regardless, no matter how strong a mage might be, to be able to use such destructive magic in a young age is just too impossible.

Once Lyle felt the girl’s glaring-like stare, he turned his head and looked at her.

“Muuuu. Maybe it hasn’t enough power! Then this…”

“Just… Who are you?!-, no, that’s not important right now! Listen, titans has the ability . Thus,

magic based attacks are useless against them. I don’t know what kind of magic you used just now but that can’t even leave them a scratch!” The girl explained while flinging her arms about in the process.

The reluctant Lyle listened. However, the more he heard about it the more he thought how absurd this titans are. His quickly changing facial expressions was too amazing too describe as his displeasure rose up.

“But the lightning-spear you did just now hurt it, you know!” He asked.

“It’s because it’s not purely magic, it also had physical attack on it!”

“I see!” Lyle however, showed no signs of worry and panic.

He just acted like he didn’t have a care in the world and looked up at the sky. Now that the smoke cleared up, he could clearly saw the smug look of the titan while looking at them in the distant. As if belittling his magic just now, the titans smirked.

“HAHAHA MAGIC! USELESS! HAHAHA”

A vein popped on his head as his gaze became fiercer.

“DON’T BE CONCEITED YOU DAMNED OVERGROWNED APE!!! WHAT I DID IS JUST AN IMITATION! IF MY IDOL DID IT, YOU WILL BECOME DUST IN JUST A SECOND!!!” Lyle shouted angrily as he stomped the ground hard while grinding his back teeth.

‘Just what the heck is he saying!’

Watching him from behind, the girl couldn't help but retort in her mind.

“I MAYBE JUST A SECOND-RATE BUT FOR YOU OVERGROWNED APES THAT HAVE A BRAIN FOR BUGS, I ALONE IS ENOUGH!!! JUST YOU WAIT I’LL TURN YOU INTO MINCED MEAT WITHIN A SECOND!!!”

‘Honestly!’ The girl retorted silently.

She really didn't know whether to cry or laugh after hearing him screaming about things she can’t understand while expressing his anger like a child throwing in a tantrum.

Looking again at the titan, the girl almost got cold feet, but she still persevered.

All of a sudden Lyle took a deep breath and while exhaling said.

“If magic is really useless against them then I’ll just need to use ‘that’” Lyle calmly said, who seemed to finally regained his composure.

“That?” The girl curiously asked.

“Ah, I don’t want to use it if it’s not necessary because it really consumed a huge amount of my mana but I think I don’t have a choice here. Based from my mana reserve right now, I can only use it for 1 minute. Hm! I guess for that idiot, who don’t know how great kamekameha attack is, it won’t even last 1 minute!” He said with a calm but confident face.

“Just what the heck are you talking about?”

Still looking at the titan, the boy then took a step forward as though he were trying to hide the girl behind him and so as to face off against the titan.

Though he was facing a monster who was far larger than himself, the girl had the impression that he was neither nervous nor afraid. He was as solid as a rock and he showed no signs of wasted movements. Lyle truly seemed to be relaxed.

“Yo, you damn monster; you can understand what I’m saying, right? Well if you can then let me tell you that if you apologize now maybe I will kill you without suffering, because even if you an idiot apologized, I won’t still forgive you! Mocking my idol’s signature move is the most unforgivable crime in the whole entire world. You damn ugly overgrown apes!!”

Lyle said with a serious voice towards the monsters but the titan completely ignored him.

The girl could only swallow her saliva behind him. It was because of how frighteningly serious his gaze was, that the girl knew instinctively that he did not mean it as a threat.

Lyle then pulled out his katana from one of the two black sheaths dangling in his side.

“Let’s do this Sakura. I will use you for now!” He muttered.

But no one answered.

“Hello? Miss Sakura? Hello?”

Lyle was perplexed to that silence.

‘Come to think of it. These two was unusually quiet since meeting Sheila. Arere!? Did I do something bad?’ He silently thought.

He was now shedding cold sweat. For him nothing is more frightening than a woman keeping her silence.

“Hello? Miss Sakura? I just want to inform you but I’m really in a pinch right now!”

“………………………… Die you stupid master!”

“----Eh!?”

As Lyle was beginning to shed cold sweat, he finally heard a response.

But this voice seemed cold for some reason. Although Sakura’s voice was usually calm and cold, but this time it’s unusually colder than usual.

Lyle was now nervous, more nervous than normal.

The girl watching him was now perplexed as she thought ‘What is he doing this time? Talking to that thin sword? Is he touched in the head? ‘ Or something along those lines. Even the monster titan was also wondering and was just watching him with strange eyes.

“My precious Sakura! Did I do something you didn’t like? Did I make you mad? You too Yuki, why are you both silent?”

He was ignored.

Because there was still no reaction, he soon wanted to cry.

As Lyle somehow squeezed his voice and uttered a very weird promised, Sakura finally answered him although his face right now was redder than a tomato.

‘Haaa, it’s too embarrassing…! What is this!?What did I just promised? I only meant it as a joke, but…. Haa~ oh well, more importantly right now we can now fight!’

“Then let’s do this Sakura!”

“Yes master!”

Lyle said in a truly casual and calm way.

In that moment, his power erupted.

His mana came bursting out like a fountain.

Incredible amounts of mana then came gushing out from his body as it slowly enveloped him.

The vast amount of mana leaked out and its horrifying quality went on to his surroundings and started devastating the landscape. The mana he let forth as well as the very pressure of it made even the girl behind him fall to her knees.

“Just… Just what is this mana?!” The girl screamed in her mind.

The tremendous amount of pure mana was filling up the entire space they were in. It was an eerie mass of pure power.

The air itself became heavier and the girl felt that gravity itself had increased a few fold as well. She was overwhelmed just by watching this and felt that her very core was being violated by the mana around her.

Even the monster titan was not an exception as it suddenly become restless.

What Lyle just used was his which he experimented for more or less than three years.

He based it from a famous anime he always watched in his past life.

By injecting enormous mana in the sword he can awaken the swords sleeping power and potential to use it to the

limit.

That is the it also worked the same like a sword enchanted by magic especially magic elements.

But there is also the second form in which Lyle just used, .

This form can only be used if a sword has a living soul in it, such as Lyle’s twin katana.

By injecting enormous mana on it, the wielder can equip the soul living in his sword just like clothes and can also used the soul’s abilities. But unlike the first form, the wielder and the sword’s soul must have unyielding and unwavering bond between them or otherwise it won’t work.

“Uuugh,” The girl could barely stand it.

A feeling as though she was going to throw up welled up inside her.

The mana was just that sinister and offensive.

“What the hell is this!?” The girl thought, “All this mana would cause any normal mage’s head to burst. Just what is he

doing? Is he really a human?”

Then the vast amount of mana compressed and clad Lyle’s whole body as if it was covering him until nothing was left.

All the mana Lyle let out as well as the pressure suddenly vanished in thin air, only leaving the devastated state of the surrounding and a very big crater as him at the center.

As the dirt and dust began to clear up. The girl could finally see Lyle clearly, who was standing at the very center of

the crater but this time his appearance looked very different from before.

He had three golden fox tails as well as fox ears above his head.

His black shirt and cloak was replaced by a long black kimono with red linings while holding a long black katana.

His clothes were actually influenced by the image he made in his mind while transforming. His appearance right now greatly resembles a certain death god.

‘What!? What the hell is this? Is he really the same guy as before? Is he really not human?’ The girl behind Lyle was just at a complete loss for words.

Various questions keep popping in her head as she watched Lyle’s new appearance. She was utterly shocked to see him like that to the point that she had already forgotten to bring her own self to get up.

However, in the next instant, Lyle's figure suddenly vanished in front of her very own eyes.

Leaving in his wake; a vast chunk of the ground had been carved out leaving a deep groove in the ground.

Lyle, however, was nowhere to be seen.

“Prepare yourself, ugly monster! Because this will only end in an instant”

Hearing Lyle’s listless calm voice from above, the girl then looked up on reflex and could see that he had jumped far into the air.
