Although he is far stronger than any ordinary human as well as other common races, Gil is without doubt only a human.
Because of his prowess, he is personally recruited by the Malic kingdom but he rejected it and chooses to serve the Dragonfang kingdom because of its peaceful coexistence towards other beings. What he hates the most is discrimination on a different race.
‘Why do people discriminate others? Is it because they have parts which are different from the others? That’s just absurd!’
He didn’t like the way the king of the Malic kingdom rules. So he leave the human kingdom and went to the
Dragonfang kingdom to serve. As soon as he arrived, he was fascinated by the place. The street was bustling and even if there were wars happening in the world it seems like this place wasn’t affected at all.
And one of the thing that surprised him the most upon coming to this kingdom was, The King! The townsfolk call him the Dragon king. He's very strong, maybe the strongest Gil have ever seen. But even though he's that strong, he was not a tyrant. He was loved and revered by his citizen, Even Gil couldn't help but acknowledge him.
He was very happy when he was appointed as the Captain of the knights. He went to various battlefield with the king, but still he never ceases to amaze him. An impossible feat seems like possible if the king was the one doing it. That’s what he believed.
But now another one caught his attention.
Lyle Drake Dragonfang the son of the Dragon king was now in front of him. A boy almost but not yet five years old was emitting a fierce pressure only a few significant beings can have.
‘T-the K-king’s Disposition?’ - O -
In the past, there were stories about these kind of beings who became a historical figure and some was even worshipped. He only knew it from legend and was only treated as a fiction, but this boy in front of him has it.
He definitely had it!

He was speechless. He couldn’t believe what is in front of him. And then Lyle started his move.
In an instant, Lyle’s figure became blurry, no he moves too fast for the naked eyes to see but not a problem for Gil.
Though the distances between the two of them were about 10 meters, He closed it up to 5 meters in a blink of an eye and charged towards Gil.
‘Wha!’
Gil was alarmed at the speed as he felt that it was unimaginable.
However, Gil was still a veteran of war, and he already fought various opponents, that's why he can see what Lyle was doing and where he is coming but still he couldn’t believe it. A boy in his age shouldn’t be able to move like that.
‘Is he really just a four year old kid? And most importantly did he just use ?’
is a high-level instant-move that can make the user move swiftly and fast as if their feet exploded with energy. But unfortunately, what Lyle did wasn’t but a martial art similar to it and was called
.
*pishew*
*pishew*
The sound of wind cutting could be heard as they unleashed their wooden swords. Lyle slashed his wooden sword downward while Gil blocked it with his own wooden sword. Although the attacked was good and precise, it was obvious that it still lacks enough strength. But Lyle was still not finished; he slashed upward the reversed grip wooden sword in his left hand.
Noticing this, Gil was immediately startled. H is right foot immediately step forward and thrust his left hand to stop Lyle’s attack.
It was a stalemate; they stopped for a second and then at the same time, step backward.
‘I’ve underestimated him too much! Who would have known…’
“Are you really a kid, young master?”
Gil momentarily stopped his movements and distanced himself from Lyle. He was talking while smiling wryly, but his eyes remained sharp to ascertain Lyle’s next move. He doesn’t want to be taken by surprise anymore.
Whereas, Lyle didn’t actively attack the Gil immediately and was only staring at him. As if asserting what next move he will be doing. He then flashed a grin and said,

“*huff* maybe, phew hahaha” *U*
The laughter resounded in the room. Although Lyle was laughing, others could tell that he was breathing hard just now. Beads of sweat started running down on his face.
The people on the scene all watched with wide-opened eyes, incomparably shocked.
How old was their young master? Four years old! That's all.
The exchange just now was simply too fast, no, it was just too abnormal that the knights behind them could only watch Lyle and Gil’s sparring battle dumbfounded. They couldn’t believe what they are watching and just couldn't help but quietly stare at the fight with serious face.
No one move nor blink. Anticipating what will happen next.
*Gulp*
Only the sound of someone gulping can be heard from the background.
"Young Master, are you alright?" Sasha was very worried.
Although she couldn’t follow the movement just now, and could only watch worriedly Lyle. However, Lyle had already become a little hero in her eyes.
Unlike her usual complexion, complicated expression can be seen from her face from time to time. Sometimes astonishment, worry, amazement and any other as she watches the fight goes on.
Meanwhile, even though Gil was exchanging banter with Lyle, just like him he too, was thinking very hard what to do next.
What he understood from the earlier fight was that, he should stop thinking that this boy in front of him is just a boy.
If he doesn’t then he will suffer the consequences. Although his body is short and his strength is not that great, Lyle’s
attack speed is good. Very precise and swift.
‘I need to be serious…’ Gil thought as he took a stance.
Lyle reacted to his movement, but Gil stepped forward quicker.
Gil left an afterimage after dashing towards Lyle. His steps shattered the soil as he jumped onto the air.
*pishew*
In one breath, the distance of his hand reaches the target. It should have been over but Lyle use his skill a skill to dodge enemy attacks with eight eccentric, unpredictable steps.
Charging forward, he suddenly disappeared right in front of Gil and instantly appeared on his right like a ghost.
‘Wha!?’
Lyle moved dizzyingly and swung his sword at Gil.
Gil immediately calmed his mind to counter the attack. As Lyle's attack getting nearer, Gil changed the direction of his momentum and executed a sweep kick with his left leg.
Noticing this, Lyle brought his other wooden sword in his chest shielding him from the impending hit.
As a result, although it was block by the wooden sword, Lyle still flew into the air.
The knights gasp then suddenly stood up to intercept and caught him, especially Sasha who frantically ran towards the direction Lyle was heading.
But that was unnecessary for Lyle just flipped several times mid air and gracefully landed in the ground.
“Young Master!!! Are you okay!?”
Sasha shouted with a worried expression. Lyle looked at her and smiled but his face showed how exhausted he was.
While panting he turned back and faced Gil again who is also looking at him with worried and concerned face.
“*huff* Uncle Gil, It looks like*huff* I won’t be able to finish this fight*huff*”
After saying that, he moved wobbly and collapsed, but he was immediately caught by Sasha. Gil and the knights also frantically ran towards Lyle.
“I’m sorry, I’m really sorry Young master, I..I…”
“No*huff* it's okay, I’m just exhausted*huff*”
He faced Gil while still lying in Sasha’s lap.
“Let’s fight again some other time*huff* for now…”
He couldn’t continue what he is speaking because he fell asleep.
Gil was wearing an apologetic look because Sasha was glaring daggers at him. He scratches the back of his head and said
“Let me help you carry him to his room”
He extends his arms but then immediately sweep away by Sasha who was still glaring at him.
“No need, I can carry him alone” she carried Lyle while invoking a wind spell to lighten the weight. She quietly left
the training area living the knights behind and hurriedly went back to Lyle’s room.

The Huntsman's Quest (An Urban Magic Quest/RPG)
Jon Whitaker went to summer camp expecting a nice relaxing time as a newly minted counselor in training. He was not expecting to fight an army of monsters, work with a serial killer, enter a one-sided friendship with an eldritch horror, or study under a competing witch and dark lord. But regardless of what he was expecting, his summer is over and he's made his way back home where he can try and return to a normal -for him- life. Too bad life rarely goes as expected. --- Please Note: This is forum quest/RPG I run in the same city/setting as my other stories Hacking Reality and Get Ink'd, meaning that while a majority of the plot is made up by me, the major choices as well as what each chapter is about are usually made by the actual readers in forum votes. Additionally, given how this is essentially a story version of a Tabletop game there is also a background RPG system that while the characters aren't necessarily aware of, the readers can see these stats to know how each chosen 'Action' effects their character's development.

“The Great Library,” Stated the stranger with a pause. “You know of it?”“Of course I do. In the Merchant’s Quarter?”“Yes, in the Merchant’s Quarter. I have gathered that there is an… artefact of importance within its walls.” Slowly, the figure produced a rusted key from the furls of his robes and held it in a black-gloved hand. “This opens the door to its chambers. It is the grimoire of Gunnar von Krugenheim, and I believe that it would serve better in the world than locked away in a dusty room.” Behind the cursed walls of Mordheim, warbands and gangs of all stripes are embattled in constant wars for resources and power.
