《Re:Otaku Prince life in another world》Chapter 12: [ A Spar... ]

[Give me the mic Lyle, your wife is calling for you! *Zooom* sounds of running
Hello, @[email protected] here. I know Lyle’s a rubbish storyteller so sorry about that. But now you’ve got me here, so all is
well. Where are we right now? Hm, this part here right….]
It has been five years since Lyle started his training and meditation routine. He went through with it daily without rest; of course except if there were people present such as Sasha or his parents nearby, slowly accumulating a large amount of mana within his petite body.
Normally, a child won't train so intensively at such a young age, so it is really not that surprising for Lyle to have grown so strong compared to someone his age.
And this regime also trained his physical attributes which had increased dramatically during this past few years.
Naturally, Lyle planned to continue training his magic by using it and casting chants but gave up the idea. He was afraid that what happened before might happen again. He still didn't know that his mana which is accumulated this past five years had already increased dramatically to the point that it was already perverse.
Obviously, it can’t be compared to the other people with the same age as him. So there should be no problems
occurring but still he exercise caution.
*************
It was early summer.
Lyle was enjoying the sweet fragrance of early summer lying in the branch of a huge tree, while reading a book.
Right now, he was at the garden located at the back of the palace. The book he was silently reading is called >. This book was all about the adventures and the skill used by a certain warrior and its description.
Longing for such exciting adventures, he was too engrossed reading it.
‘Dance of the Moonlit warrior huh? This skill feels like the isn’t it?’
Recalling a certain martial art skill he used in the previous life, he felt nostalgic.
is a skill to dodge an enemy attack by eight swift steps. These was taught to him by his master. Although for some unknown reason he couldn’t remember him, he didn’t care. As long as he still could remember the teaching of his masters, that's all that matters.
He was in the middle of recalling the teaching of his masters when he heard a voice.
“Young master Lyle! Where are you Young master Lyle!!!”
He looked around to see where the voice is coming from.
At this moment, Sasha had appeared from the tangle of trees and weeds wearing her usual maid outfit which is unbefitting of her appearance. In these passing years, Sasha has gone into a big transformation.
Her blue-violet hair flutters in the wind. Lyle thought even a movie star in Earth could not rival her in beauty now;
she has this mysterious and noble dignity aura combined.
She must have returned from her errand and now she must have come looking for him.
Looking from the top of the tree, Sasha with her usual emotion-less cold face was walking under him.
Lyle glanced at her and a teasing smile seemed to play at his lips. He closed his book and crouch so that she wouldn’t be able see him. He looked at her silently like a predator looking quietly at its prey waiting for a chance to attack.

When Sasha passed by the tree where Lyle was hiding, he prepared himself and.......jump.
“Aaah!!!”
“Kyaa!”
Contrast to his scream, he landed perfect in the ground but immediately lay himself in it.
Sasha was startled from the sudden scream and immediately turned around. There she saw Lyle lying in the ground motionless.
“Prince Lyle!”
With her face immediately paled. She immediately run towards him and crouched down. She was trembling while holding Lyle, tears slowly swelled up from the corner of her eyes.
“P-Prince Lyle, w-what happened? Prince Lyle!”
She put her hand down at Lyle’s chest and began to chant the healing magic when
“Let the power of---*Chuu*---kyaaa-!”
When she begin her chant, Lyle suddenly opened his closed eyes, raised his head and kissed her on her cheek.
Surprised by the sudden action, she let loose a scream while crawling back.
Lyle who was beaming with smiles then stood up. He smiled mischievously before winking at her. He then turned his
back towards her as he ran off from the garden. Sasha who had been seeing him off with her eyes was motionless and remains sitting in the ground.
She couldn’t help but blink her eyes repeatedly while looking at the way Lyle went, and then she finally realized what just happened; she bent her head down while blushing furiously to her ears.
**********
‘Ah that was fun!’
“Hmmm♪~, hmmm♪~♪”
Lyle was right now walking leisurely at the corridor while humming a joyous tone. He was very pleased that his prank had succeeded and most importantly, there was a bonus at the end.
Remembering the things happened just a while ago, he couldn’t help himself but laugh heartily.
Having walked around the palace for a good while, he eventually ended up in the training area.
Men wearing armors were repeating their sword forms while a few of the older and more advanced ones were in pairs and sparring against each others.
Standing quietly while smiling at the corner, Lyle was observing them when---
“You looked pleased, young master!”
---A voice called out to him. Turning to look, he saw a man with bluish hair approaching him. He was holding a
wooden training sword and a shield.
“Uncle Gil!” Lyle called happily.
“What is the young prince doing in this sweaty grounds?” Gil questioned.
“Watching.” He smiled as he replied happily.
Lyle glanced at the training area and then suddenly a teasing smile seemed to play at his lips.
“Hey, Uncle Gil, let’s spar!”
“Huh!?”
Lyle’s sudden outburst made Gil shocked silly. He looked at him dumbly as if he was hearing something really outrageous. Looking at Lyle’s eyes, he noticed that he was serious about what he had just said.
“Are you really serious, young prince?”
“Yeah!”
“B-but young Pr---”
“There you are, Young Master LYLE!!!”
“-----ince?”
A voice echoed in the training room cutting what Gil wanted to say. They both looked at the place where the voice was coming from and saw Sasha panting with a very beet red face. Even her lovely pointed ears were so red and seemed emitting smokes.
“Young Master Lyle, j-just now d-did you K-ki…”
“That’s right, Sasha please help me talk some sense to the young prince!”

“Shut up for a moment Master Gil, that’s not what’s important right now!”
Sasha whose face was dyed red glared at Gil who seemed as if he wanted to say something. She then turned around to face Lyle who is giggling mischievously while watching the two.
“Y-Young Master Lyle, d-did you just K-k-k-kiss---”
“Are you really Sasha?! No, wait, this is more important right now! Please stop the young prince, he wanted to fight me!”
“------- Eh?”
Although feeling bewildered by Sasha’s sudden change of behavior, Gil still managed to collect himself and told Sasha his current predicament. Hearing such absurd thing Sasha widened her eyes and anxiously asked.
“Young Master Lyle? I-is that true?”
“Yeah!”
Lyle’s voice showed that he was really serious. He stared back at her with pleading eyes. Right now, he really looked like a puppy waiting for his master to feed him.
“Please?...”
“Uugh…”
Sasha couldn’t answer back. Whenever she looked at his eyes, she could never be able to say ‘It’s impossible’ nor say ‘please think it again’. As she don't want her prince to feel sad, she could only bite the bullet.
Thus, She had no other choice but to look helplessly at Gil who was watching them. With a bitter and defeated smile, Sasha could only say,
“P-please take care of him”
“WHAT!? Just what are you talking about Sasha? This is dangerous!”
Flabbergasted by Sasha’s decision, Gil accidentally retorted.
“But I can’t stop the Young Master when he looks at me like that!”
Gil who heard her answer was very dumbfounded and speechless. With no other choice, he then begun thinking in earnest. He turned to face Lyle who was watching them while smiling with a noticeable hint of mischief in it
“Haaa~ fine!”
‘I guess I’ll just play with him a little!’ is what Gil thought but he was in for a surprise. He didn’t expected that the boy
in front of him was not just any ordinary boy but a little wolf in a sheep’s clothing.
“Young master, get a wooden weapon you like in the room over there”
Lyle didn’t wait anymore and immediately went to get his wooden sword. When he arrived in the room, he saw various swords lying in the ground but most of it was just wooden double-edge sword. He was looking for a sword
resembling a katana for that is what he was most accustomed with in his past life.
There in the far most corner of the room, he finally saw two thin swords lying. He clutched the wooden sword and began waving it.
‘Hm, perfect but I prefer if the other one is smaller than this one. But beggars can’t be chooser!’
His hands were gradually getting accustomed to the weight of the wooden sword; feeling satisfied he rushed off
towards the center of the training area.
There, Gil and Sasha were waiting for him. The men or rather the knights who are in the middle of their training
earlier stopped and were now sitting at the sides of the place.
“So who do you think will win?”
“Idiot! Of course it’s Captain Gil. It will be like taking a candy from a child!”
“Shut up! Someone might hear you, you know!”
The surrounding knights were talking to each other. When Lyle arrived at the center stage, everyone was staring at him, especially Gil.
“Young master, is that thin sword okay with you? And most of all two swords?”
He was asked by Gil when he looked at the swords he brought. Compared to his two thin swords, what Gil was holding was a big double-edge sword.
Of course he would be questioned, although not as big as his sword, there are also other sword that are bigger than what Lyle is holding but can still be used by him.
But what surprised him the most was that his young master was carrying not just one but two swords.
“What’s the problem?” Lyle tilted his head as he asked.
‘He really is just a child!’ Gil mused himself. Thinking that Lyle was just a child trying to impress everyone by wielding two swords at the same time.
“Then let’s begin!”
As if that was the cue, Lyle prepared himself and covered every corner of his body with mana. This was a Body Strengthening magic he invented, he called it .
He discovered this when he was carrying a pile of books to his bed. Because it was heavy he thought for a solution.
While thinking he remembered a certain light novel where an MC covered his body to strengthen it.
He immediately experimented with it and the result---it was truly amazing.
Recalling the experiments he made, Lyle closed his eyes. His body became lighter and stronger. He curved his body to the right and points the sword in his right towards Gil while he reversed grip the other one also pointed it at Gil.
His stance was weird for Gil and the others to comprehend. Gil was still looking at Lyle with a smile on his lips but then something suddenly happened
Lyle slowly opened his closed eyes. However, unlike from before, right now his eyes were sharp as daggers and his gaze was as fierce as a dragon that even Gil who was looking at it begun having cold sweat. The smile in his face immediately vanished in thin air.
“Please be careful Uncle Gil! Well, then here I go!”
His voice was cold. Colder than steel and the aura around him immediately transformed.
BaaaANG!!!
As if that sound could be heard, a dense, enormous, and fierce pressure mercilessly attacked the people around the training area. Even Sasha who was watching Lyle with a worried look couldn't help but kneeled down.
As if the pressure was carrying some physical force, some of the knights couldn't help but immediately lost their consciousness.
The remaining conscious knights also felt it and the joyous atmosphere from before had instantly vanished. It was replaced by a very quiet and solemn atmosphere, with all the people present in the ground were shock silly from the
sudden performance of a little boy.
They silently looked at the source of the pressure and were waiting for what will happen. Because of these change, they suddenly forgot that Lyle is still a kid of almost five years old.
‘T-this is…’
Only Gil and some of the other knights managed to regain their calm, although a sudden thought floats in their head.
