A new chapter for you guys. Enjoy reading. Please leave any comments or feedback for me to help improve. I am trying to incorporate your suggestions into the upcoming chapters. Thank you.
Hiro woke up the next morning and did his calisthenics and sword training. During his training he leveled up his dashing slash, sword mastery, and unarmed combat.
Ding! Sword Mastery increased to level 3
Dashing Slash increase to level 2
Unarmed Combat increase to level 6
In addition, his basic stats, strength, stamina, and agility increased by 2 points each. Once he completed his training the sun was high in the sky. It looked to be about just after noon. He ate one of his rat kabobs and placed his healing potions in his bag. Then he waited for Foria to wake up. She woke up a few moments later.
“Hey sleepyhead”
“Hi”
“You’ve been sleeping the day away”
“I’m sorry”
“When you feel up to it, let’s go out and do some exploring to see if we can find your brother.” Foria smiled and got up off of the warm panther fur.
"Do you know anything about this area? I mean where are we? What is this place called?"
"What do you mean what is this place called?"
"I mean I woke up in this cave about 8 days ago and this place is completely different than my home."
"You woke up in the cave? Well we are now in Alken Forest. It is about a 2 day journey northwest of my home."
"Can you tell me anything more about this place?"
"Well what do you want to know?"
"I noticed that their are different kinds of beasts that don't exist where I am from, like the goblins. Where do they come from?"
"Well they have always existed here Hiro. They are actually an older race much older than humans.."
"I remember you said that there are also elves here. Are there any other types of species here?"
"Well there are dwarves, gnomes, elves, humans, demons, beasts, and others that have no particular classification."
"Wow! This is just like one of my games" , he said to himself.
"Where are you from?"
"Well I from a place called America. I don't think you have ever heard of it. It is a place like yours but we do not have to fight monsters and demons to survive."
"Really you don't have to fight against monsters to survive? Then why are you such a talented warrior?"
"Well before I came here I was not very talented. Since I have come here I feel a lot stronger and I am able to do a lot of things that I could never do at home. I want to find out how I got here and how I can return but first I want to help you find your brother and get you safely back home. So let's start exploring and we can talk when we return tonight" She agreed and then Hiro stood up and grabbed his bag. He also gave her a bag to carry things in as well as 2 of his potions. “I made those plants into a liquid that you can drink in case something happens while we are out exploring.”
“Really?! That’s great! Thanks”
Then they went out exploring. Foria led him to where Foria and her brother were attacked. They saw signs of blood and a path marked by several pairs of footprints.
Ding! You learned the skill tracking
Skill Name:Skill Rank:Skill Level:Skill Experience:TrackingBeginner010%DescWith this skill you are able to notice the subtle signs that prey leaves as it moves making it easier to find. As you increase your skill you can find the signs of prey even if the trail is old or the prey has attempted to hide its tracks. For each level you increase this skill you will gain 2 points towards your wisdom stat.

They decided to follow the prints as they believed it might lead them to her brother. As they followed the footprints they began to hear drums. “Shhhh…”, Hiro told Foria. Then he grabbed her and pulled her behind a tree. He had seen three orcs. He activated his hide skill as they hid behind a tree motionless. Hiro believed they were too far away for his sense danger skill to alert him of their presence. As they peered out from cover Hiro used his inspect ability on the orcs.
OrcType:Humanoid MonsterHealth:450 / 450Mana:0/0A gray skinned demi human. They are known for their savagery and strength. Though not very intelligent they are extremely physically strong with very thick skin similar to armor that is difficult to pierce.
Each of them was larger than adult human. They looked to be about 6 and half almost 7 feet tall. Their skin was gray and they covered in with large muscles that looked almost like armor. The three had no helmets but one had a sword and shield, one carried a large battle axe and the last one carried an oddly shaped long sword. All of their weapons looked to be of good quality. Hiro surmised that they would not be able to attack all 3 simultaneously but if they could get one by themselves then they could deal with them and definitely upgrade his weapon. Hiro quickly formulated a plan of attack.
"I think we should attack only one of them."
"Agreed they look pretty tough and our weapons aren't good enough to take them head on"
"We will wait for them to separate and then I will attack the orc head on. Then you come in and stab him from behind while I have him distracted."
"That is suicide! With your weapons and armor they will slice right through you in one blow!"
"I will be ok. I'm good at dodging attacks and you will kill him with one blow so I should have to worry about fighting him too long!"
"Ok but be careful"
Now that the plan was ready they followed the group waiting for their opportunity.
The orcs stayed together for a while but eventually the one with the sword and shield went off by itself. Hiro and Foria continued to stalk the orc until there were no signs of the other 2 as they would not want the sound of a battle bring in reinforcements.
Once they felt they were far enough away, Hiro leaped into action. The orc was startled and took a defensive posture hiding behind its shield. The shield looked to be made of iron. It was worn on the orc’s wrist but the shield covered the orc across his thick muscular chest. There was no way to penetrate the orcs defense.
"I need to keept its attention. I've got to keep him occupied. AHHHHH!!!!" He slashed repeatedly at the orc’s shield.
His attacks were so fast that the orc had no opportunity to do anything but defend. He succeeded. The orc could only pay attention to Hiro’s attacks so it never even noticed Foria sneak up behind him.
"Take this" screamed Foria as she jumped up a drove both of the snake daggers into the neck of the orc.
The daggers barely pierced the orc’s skin before breaking but she did manage to poison it. The orc spun around and hit Foria with its shield. She screamed out in pain as she was sent flying into a tree. The impact from the tree must have knocked her unconscious.

"Foria!" screamed Hiro. He was enraged at the sight of his fallen comrade and he activated his Hiro’s Courage skill. The orc immediately turned head around to see Hiro but it was too late he had already activated his, new skill dashing slash. Because of his increased strength and agiltiy the attack was even faster and thus more powerful than when he used it on the imaginary night viper. "You're dead!" The orc could not even see him until Hiro’s blade cut deep into its thick neck causing blood to spray from the wound. The orcs blood covered Hiro’s face. It swiped at Hiro with the longsword but Hiro jumped backed dodging its last ditch effort.
The orc fell down face first as the blood ran out from its body. Hiro kicked the orc to make it roll onto its back. He stood over the body while his face and tunic were covered with blood. Panting from the exertion his skill, "You beast! You hurt my friend! I will never forgive you for this! Now DIE!" He drove his sword down into its skull making sure that it was dead.
He quickly looted the corpse of the orc from which he gained the orc’s sword, shield, and a bag it was carrying then ran over to pick up the injured Foria. Hiro grabbed her and darted off back towards the cave. When he reached the cave Hiro laid Foria on the panther pelt. While Foria lay unconscious, Hiro thought back on the battle. "She was good at hand to hand combat but it seemed that she could not really take a blow. I guess she lacks the constitution for up close melee combat. Well I shouldn't give up on her completely because she is till recovering from the poison. For now I have to let her fight at a distance."
He took the potions he made out of her bag and open her mouth so that she could drink 1 of them. As she drank, the area of her face instantly stopped bleeding and the color began to return. He poured another potion into her mouth and the area fully returned to its normal color. It looked as if she never got hit. Now that she was healed, he thought that he should re-evaluate their combat formation. If she was going to fight at distance she needs a ranged weapon.
He went out and found several long pieces of wood as he knew that his weapon making skill was not high there would be some failures in his attempt at making a bow. He also grabbed some smaller sticks to make arrows. Each was about 1 meter in length with a diameter of about 4 cm. He then grabbed some sticks and some vines and went back to the cave. He began trying to make a bow for Foria. The first few attempts went poorly. After about 6 attempts, Hiro saw that the problem was either the wood was not strong enough to support the drawing of the bow or the vines snapped when drawn. So he put less tension on the draw and found a more flexible piece of wood and a stronger piece of vine. Finally he had a success. The bow was finally created.
Ding! You created a crude bow
ICrude BowType:BowDurability:20 / 20Quality:LowAttack 5IA bow made from low level materials and crudely constructed. It will work but just barely.
Ding! Weapon making skill increased to level 3
He then began using his hunting knife to whittle the small sticks into sharp points so that they could be used as arrows. He carved the first 5 and they became extremely sharp but he poorly chose the wood.
Ding! You created 5 crude arrows.
These probably would be difficult to fire as their shaft was bowed. He then examined the sticks he collected more thoroughly. Choosing only the straightest shafts to be sharpened into arrows the next batch of arrows came out surprisingly well.
Ding! You created 35 wooden arrows.
Ding! Your weapon making skill is now 4.
Next, He took out 2 pieces of rat leather and laid them together. He cut them into 2 identical pieces u-shaped pieces with his sword. Then he used his hunting knife to make small holes around the edges leather. He measured how deep the pieces of leather would be using one of the longer arrows. He made sure that the arrow hung out of the leather about 4 inches. Finally he used the some thin strips of leather that he had cut to bind the two large pieces together.
Ding! You have created a leather quiver.
Hiro placed the arrows in the quiver and laid the bow down on top of it.
Each of the days had passed and been so thrilling that Hiro had not even thought about home. He had no idea of what was going on here. He had no idea of how he even got here. Hiro summized that this could not be a virtual reality game because he had been here for about a week. If this was a game, he would have had to log out so that his real body could eat and drink. The best Virtual Reality games only had a ratio of 1:3 ( 1 hour real world to 3 hours in game) so that means he would not have eaten or slept for 3 days. His body would be on the verge of starvation and dehydration. What is really going on here? This can't be a game.
Hiro began to feel a sudden dose of hard reality that this was definitely not a game but some sort of alternate world. He also came to the realization that he may be stuck here which was not so bad so far. That fact that he would not be able to return home and never see his family again saddened him. He laid down and looked up into the darkness, his mind filling with memories of playing with his little sister and his mother's cooking. He even thought of the times his father looked at him with pride even though he was never good at anything he ever participated in.
“Dad, I will make you proud in this world. As long as I am in this world, I will use the lessons of hard work you taught me and become a great hero!”
With that Hiro closed his eyes and went to sleep.

Good Guy Necromancer
Necromancers are murderous, repulsive, utterly ungodly creatures. And then there's Jerry. Jerry is a novice necromancer who treats his undead warmly, seeks to befriend people instead of harvest their bodies, and doesn't mind cracking a skull or two when needed. He genuinely is a good guy—too bad nobody believes him. Jerry tries to settle down, wanting nothing but a peaceful life for him and his undead—and, when that doesn't quite work out, he sets out to adventure. He will make friends, each unique in their own way, and together, they will travel through a variety of striking environments; from a tiny village, to the land of the dead, to a jolly archipelago, to a kingdom on a beanstalk. To save a world that shuns him, Jerry must stand against a large organization of arrogant, mighty wizards. He strives to become stronger while maintaining his kindness, only to realize that, maybe, gentle hearts make the greatest necromancers. This is the story of a delightful man in a harsh world—full of warmth, action, and wise-cracking bone puns. Chapters are usually 2-3k words, and updates are 3/week: Mon, Wed, Fri. If you're looking for another fun, action-packed adventure, check out Cultivator vs. System by yours truly, available on Kindle, KU, and Audible. But read Good Guy Necromancer first.

my first story ^U^
author note: yaaa hurray it’s my first story ^U^ i hope you all like it! all characters belong to my special friends who submitted them!!ok heres the first chapter enjoy ^U^ TL note: Some of you may be wondering why I am translating a story written originally in English, to English. I remember reading this story many years ago, as a teen, and had since dismissed it as a bizarre fever dream. Only recently, through much Googling, did I manage to rediscover it, and as such decided to not only read it again, but fix the author’s many typing issues and share the context of what I remember from its original happening. I believe the story underneath to hold deeper meanings than its strange happenings, but at minimum I hope you will appreciate it for the sheer weirdness of it all. For the best experience, skim it for your first reading and, if you are interested, read more deeply the second time. Some typing is left as-is to preserve what I believe to be authorial intent, or at least necessary effect. If you notice any typing issues I managed to miss, please email them to me at [email protected]
