Sorry to disappoint you but this is not a chapter. Though I am sure most of you dropped this series already but that is fine. I just want to see how my first story ends anyway.
It was not a happy month for me. Three weeks of severe itching and occassional fevers were horrible. I missed the first day of school (yes my summer vacation ended already, blame the rules of my school) and I had to put in some effort to cope... sucks right?
Now that I am finally released from the pain of being sick and schoolwork, I can finally focus on my half-finished draft. What? Too slow? I ain't a professional writer, I am just 15, I do things for fun and writing is one of them.
Well expect a chapter or so later tonight or tomorrow. To those who still stuck with this mediocre series, thanks for your time and I hope that you can still guide me in the future.
One more thing, do you like late long chapters (5000-8000 words) or early short chapters (2000-4000)?

Warning: Markus has trauma induced amnesia and will occasionally 'act out of character' or make 'poorly thought out' decisions. These events are rather obvously telegraphed abd represent conflicts between his current personality and the one repressed alongside his trauma. Just something to bear in mind.The story will bounce predominantly back and forth between the primary protagonists every couple of chapters. The time stream is linear, so events are not revisted/rehashed/retold through the narrative format. Characters may comment on something that has occurred, but that's different. Enigma's Multiverse: Rewrite
This novel was rewritten with the following goals in mind: -A 'human' MC, that struggles underneath the weight of his past emotions and slowly grows as a person as he deals with past trauma and regret. A relatable protagonist whose actions are in line with his motivations, who may be amiable or ruthless depending on the stakes presented. (Caucasian male protagonist, set in the modern world with alien 'induction' into the cultivation world.) - Competent antagonists that have their own goals and ambitions, instead of always targeting the MC for plot convenience. - An original cultivation system. - Interesting and well fleshed out enemy archetypes. - Hell mode challenge right off the bat. - Lots of action and fighting with psychological elements. - My vision of what a cultivation novel should be like. This is the rewrite of the original Enigma's Multiverse, the first version reads more like a skeleton or a first draft as it was my very first work and I've come a long way since then. He slowly backs up until his back is against the wall like my own, "You're..my neighbor?" He points to my door and I nod my head quickly. He hums softly, "You been here a while?" He asks and I nod my head once again. He chuckles, "Ya head hurt?" I nod again but stop as he laughs softly, "I-I mean.. no.. it doesn't." My cheeks burn red as I look at my shoes, "I-It doesn't hurt.." I repeat like a dummy and listen to him clear his throat, "So do you actually live there or was it bull?" He nods to my door and I play with my fingers, "Yeah.. I do.." I feel his eyes watch me and I quickly stop. "You live with your boyfriend or do you like sweatshirts that reach your knees?" He teased, making a giggle slip past my lips. I look away to the floor again, "I-I like big shirts... a lot." I mumble softly and he nods his head, "Hol' up." He puts his box down before walking over to one of the grey bins. I nosily watch as he pulls out a big grey sweatshirt, "Here." He holds it out for me to take and I stare at him with wide eyes, "F-For me?" I hesitantly grab the soft fabric as he chuckles, "Nah for ya mom."
