I gave up on the soft deletes.
I also got rid of some gags.
Do note that my moonrunes may not have perfect grammar, in the Japanese context, but they should be machine-translatable.
--------------------------
Somewhere within the ruined city of Tokyo lies a massive military base. Within this base, flags of many nations could be seen printed onto the uniforms of the soldiers stationed there. The United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, South Korea, the Philippines, the Russian Federation, India, China, Poland, and many more including the host country, Japan. A coalition of many sovereign states' militaries were present within this military base.
Apart from the soldiers, there was also a myriad of military vehicles that were either on standby or out patrolling the perimeter with squads of infantry. Although the coalition was made up of many different foreign militaries' men and women, the vehicles they used were mostly of Japanese make. Type 90 and Type 10 main battle tanks, Maneuver Combat Vehicle armored fighting vehicles, Type 89 infantry fighting vehicles, Type 73 and Type 96 armored personnel carriers, Type 99 howitzers, Type 87 antiaircraft vehicles, and many other support vehicles.
The perimeter of the base was surrounded by multiple concrete towers with machine gun emplacements and casemate gun bunkers. The walls of the base were at least three meters thick and eight meters high, and allowed the soldiers that patrolled it to safely move around. A bit beyond the walls were a small network of trenches that carved through dirt, concrete, and asphalt while, at the same time, covered by canopies of barbed wires. Along some parts of the trenches were machine gun emplacements simply protected by sandbags. Farther than those trenches was a flat and open area filled with landmines, claymores, and other explosive traps.
This base was, in a way, a fortress. A heavily defended fortress in the middle of Tokyo, Japan as well as a refuge for many civilians that had lost their homes in the war. The civilians could be found just outside the main gates of the fortress, lined up, and being inspected by the sentries that stood guard there. While a sentry was inspecting a civilian, he spotted a strange sight from the corner of his eye.
「何だそれは?」 said the sentry as he turned to look.
The sentry found a man with another soldier on his back sprinting towards them. Alarmed, he aimed his rifle at the oncoming persons.
「止まれ!!!」 shouted the sentry. This alerted the other sentries, and the all looked at where the former sentry was aiming at. Only then did they shout the same words as the former sentry.
...
Cavaron was sprinting towards the mass of people he previously detected with Aiko over his shoulders. Aiko, a Sergeant Major they had recently rescued, was screaming from Cavaron's near breakneck speed. Far behind them were three more people running after him. These three people were Maguro, Aimi, and Aomi.
"By the gods!" exclaimed Maguro, "His speed had doubled! What happened!?"
"Was senpai always this powerful before!?" asked Aimi out loud, "We can barely catch up to him!"
"A few hundred years ago, before Edeortha, maybe!" answered Maguro, "But we didn't witness this insane speed of his before!"
"Maybe he got something more from that flame he received!?" asked Aimi back, "When I lived with him, he needed to absorb so much mana from the surroundings!"
"Back then, how many Azuals were there!?" inquired Maguro, "Apart from Azrael's doppelganger, how many Azuals!?"
"I remember Capacitor reporting close to one hundred million!" replied Aimi, "Do you think the flame is the reason for his unreasonable rise in power!?"

"Maybe!" replied Maguro back, "But I can't be too sure of it unless we ask the person himself! For now, we must prevent Cavaron from creating too much chaos in a SciTech world!"
Aimi nodded, and the two of them gave their all to catch up to Cavaron.
...
A few minutes later, Cavaron had finally found where the mass of entities were. He found a steel and concrete fortress in the middle of the Tokyo ruins.
"Hahaha! We have found your base, Aiko!" exclaimed Cavaron, "Now take us to your leader!"
"Just put me down, already!!" cried Aiko out, "How the hell are you able to run so fast!? Are you a magic user!?"
Cavaron smiled, "Ohohohoho!" and laughed, "Kudos to you to be able to stay awake after that sprint! And another kudos for guessing what I am, correctly! Indeed, I am a magic user, and the ability for us to understand each other is a type of magic as well! Hahaha!"
"The hell are you so happy about!" screamed Aiko, "Put me down already!!"
That was when they were spotted by a sentry.
「止まれ!!!」 shouted a sentry.
"Eh? The hell was that?" wondered Cavaron, "Hey, what did he just shout at me?"
「止まれ!!!」 this time, all present sentries had shouted with their rifles aimed at them.
"They are ordering you to stop!" replied Aiko out loud, "Stop or they will shoot!"
Cavaron slammed on the brakes, and carved into the asphalt from their momentum for ten meters. The spectacle shocked the onlooking sentries and civilians at the entrance of the fortress.
「何だこれは?」
「何、何?」
「何が起こって?」
The onlookers were wondering what just happened, and a detachment of soldiers went towards Cavaron to investigate fully armed and fully loaded as it could be seen with all of them aiming their guns with safeties off.
"Phew, that was rough." a man's voice came from the crash site, "You okay, Aiko?"
"Like hell I'm okay, you freak!" a woman's voice replied, "Ah! Now the base is on full alert!"
The investigating soldiers found Cavaron and Aiko standing in the middle of ground zero. The two of them were dusting off their clothes, and finally noticed the soldiers aiming their guns at them.
「誰だ!?」 shouted a soldier.
Cavaron stared at the soldier, then pointed at Aiko. Aiko had a pissed off expression at Cavaron when he did so. Cavaron noticed this, and whispered in her ear.
"Careful, honey." he said, "I can easily destroy this base with my power. So do us both a favor, and take good care of me."
Aiko immediately calmed herself down. She faced the soldiers and stated who she was.
「私は田中あい—」
「田中曹長?」
However, before she could state her identity, a sentry had already done so for her.
「え?」
「田中曹長?」
The other sentries had, then, lowered their rifles, and closely inspected the woman before them.
「田中曹長!」
「青子様!」
「田中様!」
「曹長様!」
Aiko, hearing their shouts, had gone as red as a tomato. In a fit, she blew up in front of the male soldiers.
「仕事に戻れ!!」 she yelled at the soldiers.
The investigating soldiers, and remaining sentries immediately scampered off back to their duties.
"Well, that was quick." commented Cavaron, "I wasn't serious about destroying this base, though. You sure have a lot of authority here, Sergeant Major."
Cavaron was just watching the exchange between Aiko and the other soldiers. Aiko looked back at Cavaron, still with a flushed red face.
"Oh, shut up." she told Cavaron, "Anyway, I can't believe you left your companions behind, even Aoyama-sama!"

Cavaron waved it off saying, "Oh, don't worry about that. With their current speed, they'll catch up in ten seconds."
"Ten seconds?" said Aiko as she raised a brow, "But Aoyama-sama is a normal hu... Don't tell me..."
Just as she realized something, Maguro and the others finally caught up. Their speed was a bit slower than Cavaron's, but ultimately greater than those of ordinary humans. Even Aiko found Aimi seemingly flying through the air as Aimi ran towards them.
"Senpaaaaaiiiiiiii!!!!!!" cried out Aimi with her fist drawn back and slightly glowing with soft blue light.
"Hm? Oh, there you guys a—bufo!" said Cavaron right until he received a mana-infused punch to the face from Aimi.
Seeing Cavaron flinch, "Good job, Aimi." Maguro praised the young girl.
Aimi stood with her arms crossed in pride.
"What the hell did you do that for!?" retorted Cavaron as he regained his senses.
"That was for leaving us behind." replied Maguro, "And to make sure you didn't do anything stupid."
"I already did, though?" declared Cavaron, "What do you think we are standing on?"
Maguro raised a brow, then looked at the crash site beneath them. He immediately found the carved rocks to end where Cavaron stood.
"CAVAROOOOON!!!!" bellowed Maguro, "BY THE GODS, MAN! AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!"
"Chill, you old coot." said Cavaron, "You might get a heart attack."
"I'm only thirty five!" shouted Maguro back.
"Five hundred thirty five." corrected Cavaron.
"GAH!" cried out Maguro, "WHATEVER! AND YOU'RE EIGHT HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE!"
"Yes." replied Cavaron, "I'm an old man in a sexy man's body."
"YOU..." uttered Maguro but he just sighed, "I give up..."
"Hey, don't give up." said Cavaron, "You're still young... Compared to me, of course. Haha!"
Maguro just stared at Cavaron silently, but wants to burn him in his eyes.
Aiko ignored the exchange of the two men beside her, and dumbfoundedly stared at Aimi. Aimi noticed Aiko's stare, and brought Aimi down from her shoulders.
"Well, Miss Tanaka, will you take us to my father?" asked Aimi.
"Yes! Take us to your leader!" exclaimed Cavaron.
"Ignore him." said Maguro.
"Gyao!" roared Aomi cutely.
---
Aiko had led Cavaron and the rest through the fortress entrance, and found a good deal of military personnel and equipment inside. The sentries, of course, inquired about Cavaron and the others but merely stated Aimi's relationship with Colonel Aoyama. Immediately, the sentries let them through with no further questions. Aside from the sentries, even the coalition members found Aiko's group intriguing.
"Yo!" greeted a soldier with the United States flag embroidered on his uniform, "How was your mission earlier? I heard you were the only survivor."
"By the gods! I understood what he said!" exclaimed Cavaron, "I wonder if he can understand me? Hey, dude, can you understa— ow! Maguro!?"
Maguro slammed a mana-infused fist onto Cavaron's head. It sounded like a soft thud but the power was clearly felt by Cavaron, and the mana shockwave was felt by Aimi.
"The hell is this guy saying?" asked the US soldier, "Hey, go away, civvie. I'm talking to Aiko-chan here."
When the soldier tried to push Cavaron away, Cavaron suddenly swiped his hand around the soldier's arm. Cavaron pulled the soldier towards him, twisted him around, pushed him down, and locked his arm behind his back. All this happened in a second.
"Easy, buddy." commented Cavaron, "I can kill all of you with power equivalent to a nuke."
Aiko was alarmed, "Let go of him, you freak!"
Cavaron immediately released the soldier from the binding. The soldier swiftly retreated away from Cavaron along with other onlooking coalition soldiers.
「どうした?」 a man's voice came from behind them.
Aiko turned to look and found a Japanese officer escorted by a squad of sentries. He had a mean expression on his face, and there were bags beneath his eyes. On his uniform, there were many medals, symbols, and other articles pinned on his chest or embroidered on his sleeve.
Aiko recognized who this person was as she immediately stood at attention and saluted.
「曹長田中、青山軍大佐に上申します!」 said Aiko to the officer.
The officer swept his gaze over the surrounding people. The coalition soldiers immediately saluted at the Japanese officer. His gaze finally arrived at Cavaron and his companions, but stopped upon seeing Aimi.
「愛美?」 said the officer, 「愛美!!!」
「父さん!」 cried Aimi.
She and the officer ran towards and embraced each other. Tears fell from each of their eyes, and the other Japanese personnel cried as well.
"I guess that's her dad, right?" inquired Cavaron.
"Yes." replied Aiko, "Colonel Aoyama Daichi. Head of the Japanese detachment of CTF-143."

Spoiler : I have an exam in 48 hours, and here I am procrastinating.
Have a chapter.
----------------------------
Daichi was staring blankly at the floor after having listened to Cavaron's story about his daughter, Aimi. Maguro was staring blankly at the ceiling after Cavaron used his abilities on ordinary people, one after another, while muttering, "Please don't notice... Please don't notice..." repeatedly.
"Now then, Daichi." said Cavaron, "Your turn... or I'll wait until you recover..."
Aimi had already crouched down to help her father calm down. The others with them, the officers especially, had already holstered their sidearms, but had no idea what happened. Aiko had already gone out to call a sentry for assistance.
As for Aomi, she climbed onto Daichi's back, and started to sniff his body.
"Aomi! Get down from there!" yelled Aimi.
However, Aomi hugged Daichi tightly and yelled, "Papa!" out loud. This snapped Daichi out of his stupor.
"What did you say, little girl?" asked Daichi.
"Papa!" repeated Aomi.
Aimi was surprised at what Aomi said and was about to scold Aomi, but Cavaron cut in between them, saying, "Well, it seems right to say so. Aomi does see Aimi as a sister, after all. By the way, where is your mother?"
"She died when she gave birth to me." replied Aimi, "No need to feel sorry about it. I was still a newborn back then so I cannot remember her even if I tried."
Having regained his composure, Daichi stood up with Aomi still on her back.
"If... If that's what happened during the past month..." he said, "I may need some time off but... do come with me."
Without saying another word, Daichi left the war room, and went to his personal quarters. Cavaron and his companions followed Daichi, and Aiko had left to do her own business.
...
Within Daichi's personal quarters, he had already removed his top uniform and had it thrown over a sofa. The person himself was already seated on a chair behind his desk, and Cavaron and the others sat on any available seat. Cavaron was seated directly across Daichi on a swivel chair.
"Well, have you processed the information?" asked Cavaron.
Daichi stared at Cavaron with his hands clasped together underneath his chin. With a deep sigh, he replied, "You... You are a magic-user, correct?"
"Yeah, if that's the word you use to describe us."
"And my daughter became something like you?"
"Uh-huh."
"She was forced to fight for people she had no sense of duty to?"
"Well, it applies to anybody who was summoned, so I suppose."
"Will it happen again?"
"Absolutely, sooner or later."
Daichi released another deep sigh before asking one more question, "Will she be able to return home even after all that?"
Cavaron looked straight into Daichi's eyes. His green eyes made Daichi slightly flinch, but Cavaron retreated back immediately.
"If Aimi has the capacity to understand how Space and Time magic work," replied Cavaron, "there is a high possibility of her becoming able to do so. If we take myself as an example, it took me three to five summonings to interpret the laws for my own use."
It was Daichi's turn to stare at Cavaron in the eye, "Will you teach her?"
"And what do I get in return?" asked back Cavaron, "Space and Time magic is a very powerful set of laws."
Daichi looked at Aimi playing with Aomi in the background, and thought for a while. "If it means having to see my daughter after every time she gets whisked away..." answered Daichi. He stared back at Cavaron's eyes, "I will let you take my daughter for your own."
"We have a de... What?" replied back Cavaron on shock, "Could you repeat that?"
"I will let you have my daughter in exchange for having her learn what you know." answered Daichi, "I will do anything to see my daughter time and again, if all else fails."
Cavaron stood up, held his forehead with one hand, and waved back at Daichi with the other as he took a few steps back, "Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. THE HELL ARE YOU SAYING, OLD MAN?" asked Cavaron, "How the hell did you come to the decision of making Aimi mine?"
"Eh!?" cried Aimi, "What's going on!? What are you talking about!?"
Daichi approached Aimi, and held her hand, "If it is to teach you more about magic, I am willing to sacrifice part of my happiness to make you happy." he told Aimi.
Cavaron grabbed Daichi by the collar, and pulled him back. "Woah! Hold it! Stop!" he shouted, "How did you get that idea in your head?"
Daichi looked at Cavaron, "I've seen this happen before." and replied, "An obviously powerful man asking for repayment for a service that is difficult to do, and the weaker man gives his daughter away to seal the deal."
"Papa! Stop watching those old dramas already!" cried out Aimi, "You are talking about my future, here!"
"What's wrong with that?" asked Daichi, "Erasyl, here, is obviously powerful, knows a lot, and can easily follow you around wherever you go. Other than that, he is very handsome. I doubt that there is no one girl out there that has fallen for him."
"AAAAHHHHHHH! PAPA!!! SHUT UP!!!" cried back Aimi, "Aomi, let's go outside!"
Aimi stormed out of Daichi's personal quarters, and the sentries at the door parted frantically to give way to her. Aomi just trotted along behind her. With a loud slam of the door, she went out of sight from within the room.
"Listen, you can keep your daughter." said Cavaron with a serious tone, "Just give me the information I want, and I'll leave you all alone."
Downcast, Daichi had no other choice but to tell Cavaron and Maguro about what happened here on Terra.
...
"I think it would be best to show you the person responsible for everything that had happened." said Daichi, "Here is a file given to all member states of the United Nations about that one person who brought this world to chaos"
Maguro received a folder containing the said file. It was given to him instead of Cavaron because Cavaron could not understand all of the Terran languages.
The file contained a photo of a bored looking man in his mid-twenties with lifeless eyes. With the photo was the man's bio data along with a brief history. The file stated:
Surname: Dalaram
Given Name: Alexander
Date of Birth: Unknown
Citizenship: Filipino (Official)
Brief History:
Alexander Dalaram was said to have first revealed himself in the Philippines, buying out all of the telecommunications companies in the country back in early 2015. There were reports of their previous owners being sent on "vacation" but many had not returned from said "vacation". He earned the title of "The Hero of Philippine Internet" having improved the country's telecommunications services in the span of a single week. His company name was "Pamana", Filipino for the word "Legacy".
In the latter half of 2015, reports of Alexander adopting many orphans and homeless people had surfaced. He gave them new opportunities at life including wonderful futures. The people whom he had adopted began calling Alexander primarily as "Father" despite his apparent youth. The income earned from Pamana were used for these adopted people, and he once more earned the hearts of many.
A revolutionary, a nationalist. Many people sought to have him run for the elections in the coming months. His stately actions to improve the livelihood and well-being of the Filipino people earned him the ire of many corrupt politicians, many of whom tried to have Alexander assassinated. It was during the first incident that Alexander showed his true iron fist
Mechanical marvels that took reference to comics and video games came out of Pamana's factories bearing large weapons that eliminated those who tried to have him killed. The Armed Forces of the Philippines could do nothing in the face of these monstrous weapons of destruction. However, they had noticed one thing. The machines were piloted by pale-skinned, white-haired, and red-eyed people. Humans who appeared like no other.
As such, the Philippine government had decided not to touch anyone nor anything related to Alexander and Pamana. Having been left alone, Alexander built an artificial island on the Benham Plateau off the eastern coast of Luzon. In the span of a mere three months, the island had become fully operational, and was named as "Pamana Island".
Having read the file, a question popped into Cavaron's mind, "And? What else? It didn't tell us about how everything happened!"
Daichi sighed, "That's the thing. He suddenly up and unleashed genetically modified animals and humans upon the world. All we have is this statement he released by hacking the world network a month ago."
Daichi turned on a nearby monitor, and inserted a disc into a slot. In a moment, the face of Alexander Dalaram could be seen, and behind him was a crowd of the red-eyed people.
"I'm tired..." said Alexander, "This world is still too divided. If the only way for this world to unite is to have a common enemy, then let this enemy be me. The flames of chaos will run wild and free..."
Then the monitor blacked out.
"That's all he said." said Daichi, "Then, three days later, reports of red-eyed people being seen all over the world sprang up one after another. A day after that, unknown monsters appeared, and began to destroy many population centers simultaneously. Although we were given a warning, the world governments did nothing, and, resultantly, could only watch as many of their people and cities were slaughtered and ground to dust. They didn't even differentiate between what society deemed as good or bad. All were destroyed. Even the Philippines, the place he came from, got wiped off the face of the world!"
Cavaron was repeatedly replaying Alexander's message to the world, and caught something strange. "Hey, Daichi, translate the last thing he said for me."
Daichi went next to Cavaron, "The last sentence? 'The flames of chaos will run wild and free...' is what he said."
Light flickered within Cavaron's eyes, "Hahaha... This Alexander probably has the same fragment I have..." he said with a grin, "Maguro, I'm staying here until the end."
"Fine, do whatever you want." replied Maguro, "I just want you to be prepared just in case Yggdrasil catches wind of what you've done."
"Yggdrasil? Who cares about that old fart?" said Cavaron, "Hahaha... This will be fun. By the way, have you tried nukes?"
Daichi looked at Cavaron, "Ha! If that did work, we wouldn't be spending more than a week getting rid of them all! The United States dropped a nuke on Chicago when it was overrun. It killed many of them with the blast, but they all lived through the radiation! Can you imagine these monsters making out of radioactive hell zones intact!?"
"Shit... There goes using plasma weapons." commented Cavaron, "Explosives leave too much collateral damage, too..."
"After Chicago, Alexander's monsters knocked out many military complexes in America and Russia." added Daichi, "Other nuclear powers lost their own missiles due to their near unstoppable raids. Here in Japan, it was by pure luck that we were able to hold them off."
"WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..."
A siren suddenly blared all across the base, and sounds of running and shouting erupted all over. A while after that, the door to Daichi's personal quarters swung open, and behind it were Aimi and Aiko.
"Sir! Dogs are attacking!" reported Aiko, "I brought your daughter here for safety!"
"Tell the troops to assume defensive formations! I'll go out as well!" ordered Daichi, "Have all armo— eh, Erasyl? What is it?"
Cavaron pulled back Daichi saying, "You know that conventional weapons don't work, right? All you have are kinetic weapons that can't deliver a strong enough punch. Aimi, time to turn this world on its head. We will destroy this world's common sense and logic many times over! Hahahaha! I'd really love to see Alexander's reaction to this."
Cavaron walked out of Daichi's personal quarters, and out of the base itself. Outside, he was greeted by gunfire and frantic soldiers, and over the distance were hordes of giant dogs.
"Now then, what to use?" wondered Cavaron as he approached the battlefield, "The railgun is annoying to use, and thermal weapons are a no-go. Guess we could only destroy this world's logic after all... Hahaha..."
As Cavaron walked, his appearance changed. From his casual attire, his usual equipment returned. Blue armor, red cape, and twin swords. Those that noticed his transformation immediately stopped what they were doing, and stared at the fantastical being before them.
"Blade arts, Demonic Possession!!"
Cavaron became wrapped in faint red light, and his eyes glowed brightly. Both swords drawn, he literally blasted off to the battlefield, leaving a deep crater in the asphalt behind.

Sorry, no BFG for now.
Sorry, Chicago, for nuking you. I just recalled Red Alert 2.
Not sorry, Philippines, personal sentiments took over. I had to destroy you.
