《Songs of Legacies: Cavaron [Complete Draft]》Chapter 52

Bricked phones are love, bricked phones are life... Who am I kidding? I temporarily lost my only decent access to the net and tools for more than a week. Anyway, I had to revive my PSP for this. Yes, I still have my PSP because of certain games set to be released this year. Yes, I'm also typing these on my PSP.
My phone soft-bricked when I was updating the rom, and the techs told me to wait for two to three weeks because of the queue. Two to three weeks just for reinstalling a ROM!? They replied to me, "There's a queue, sir. *looks at book* You're number 1852 for the day, and 5000-something for the past four days."
Okay, I'll wait, since it is still within warranty.
On another note, have a ROUGH numerical representation of Cavaron's stats that I was able to upload before my phone bricked.

Please, never forget that he needs mana to be powerful.
Have a chapter. (Thank the forums for the Save Draft function... I just need a word counter since I just counted the paragraphs for this.)

"KYAAAAHH!!!"
Cavaron, alarmed by the scream, directed a load of mana into his legs, and dashed towards the source. "Aimi!" He recognized who the scream's owner was as his body blurred from the speed. Each step he took, a footprint... No, a crater, a small crater was left behind. The thunder elemental, Bronte, who was seated upon Cavaron's shoulders was literally holding on for dear life as he clamped onto Cavaron's head. Cavaron ran all the way to the Sky Tower from the city walls. Everybody who saw him approach rammed their bodies to the side in fear of being trampled. "What the hell was that?" One of the passersby spoke as they clung onto the walls of the towers on the sides of the street.
Upon arrival, he found Aimi kneeling down inside the landing area for the flying mounts surrounded by Sky Knights, mounts, and his contract, Halrimaw. "What ha–" Just as Cavaron was about to ask a question, "SOOOOO CUUUUUUUTEEEEEEEEE!!!" Aimi screamed again, this time her body shook sideways as she did so. Cavaron slowed down to a halt with his mouth agape trying to process what happened. Halrimaw saw his master at the corner of his eye, "Oh, Master, you've come back... Bronte?" Everybody in the area turned to look at the newly arrived Cavaron with a child, that became dizzy, sitting upon his shoulders.
Cavaron approached the crowd, "What's going on? I heard Aimi from the city walls." and questioned the bystanders. One of the Sky Knights pointed towards Halrimaw, "Best to hear from your beast, sir." Halrimaw flinched and started to panic piquing Cavaron's curiosity. "Halrimaw, the hell did you do now?" Halrimaw seemed to have trouble looking for the right words as he mumbled what to say. When Cavaron can close enough to properly see Aimi, he found something... or 'someone' in her arms. There was a small child in her arms as it was hugged and rubbed by Aimi.

Curious, Cavaron approached the kneeling girl to see who the child was, "Aimi, who are you hugging?" Aimi perked up, and turned towards Cavaron, "Ah, senpai..." Just as she did so, Cavaron finally saw the child. It had blue hair, and wide blue eyes. It would be a normal child if not for a animal ears and tail protruding out of its head and backside. The curious thing was, the ears and tail were also blue, and appeared like it belonged to a raccoon. Cavaron's eyes glowed as he used Mana Sight, "Azursa Aomi...?" Saying so, he spun back to Halrimaw, "Okay, my dear friend. Time for explanations." Halrimaw dropped and knelt before him.
"Forgive this foolish lord, Master. In truth, I never intended for this to happen!" Halrimaw sought forgiveness as he knelt, "I hadn't realized that the little one had drank my blood from the wounds inflicted upon my body! It was already too late for me to realize what had happened!" Cavaron surveyed Halrimaw's body, and found numerous scars that, although bandaged, were still bleeding especially those on his arm. Cavaron lifted Bronte off his shoulders, and let him sit down for a while as he inspected the human Aomi.
The Azursa, Aomi, became human while retaining its bestial appearance because of drinking Halrimaw's blood. Right now, Cavaron lifted the child and had her stand on her own. Aomi had shoulder length blue hair with black stripes. Atop her head were two round and fluffy blue ears. Her eyes were also blue, and had black marks around it, similar to one receiving blunt impact upon one's eyes. Her height was similar to Bronte's at a meter tall. Her hands and feet were covered with blue fur, and on her fingers were short claws. Her tail was three inches long, and was also blue. Currently, she wore a white cloth large enough to wrap around her body, and cover it.
While Cavaron was looking all over Aomi, every time he touched her, Aomi went, "Myu? Myu?" Cavaron stood up, and thought, 'Hmm, still incapable of human speech, huh? Eh well, what's done is done.' He turned around towards where Aimi sat, "Hey, Aimi wou–" but found her hugging Bronte instead. "Ah, senpai! Who's this!?" Bronte had already sobered up, and was struggling to free himself from Aimi's grasp. Cavaron's eyes went wide as he shouted, "Bronte, stop!" as he noticed sparks of electricity being emitted around the boy. Of course, Bronte reluctantly ceased his intentions, and said, "Papa~ It hurts~"
This time, it was Aimi and the others' turn, aside from Halrimaw, to be shocked, " 'Papa'?? " they all said the same thing. "So, who's 'mama'?" One of the bystanders asked out loud, this made Aimi and, for whatever reason on how she got there, Legion Commander Ashe look at Cavaron making him release a sigh. "All right, Aimi. Let go of Bronte first. Although he calls me 'Papa', that was because of what led to the contract. Bronte's a summon of mine, and Akash should recognize him." Saying the last sentence, he turned towards a pillar, and found the Legion Commander, Akash, hiding behind it. "Yes, I recognize him! No need to make me remember!"

Seeing the fear in his eyes, and hearing the panic in his voice led the others to believe it as truth. Bronte, having been released by Aimi, ran towards Cavaron's leg, and climbed back up onto his shoulders, "Hi! I'm Bronte, a Thunder God!" Bronte introduced himself. Hearing the words 'Thunder God' made the people around them doubt the child, but looking back at Akash and at Cavaron, they had to change their views regarding the said child. Aomi, however, looked at Bronte then to Aimi. Aomi ran towards Aimi, climbed up, and sat upon the girl's shoulders. This act surprised Cavaron, 'Oh? She's used to moving like a human, now? Interesting.' Thoughts ran through Cavaron's mind.
Not noticing his surroundings, he became deep in thought as he watched Aomi, and the people around them looked at the two champions with their companions upon their shoulders. "They look like family, don't they?" A bystander spoke out loud once again, and everybody heard it. Aimi looked around her and realized what they meant. Bronte, a small child summoned contract was sitting upon Cavaron's shoulders, and in turn, Aomi, her friend, became a human child with bestial features was sitting upon her shoulders. Like previously stated, Cavaron was deep in thought as he looked at Aomi. His gaze, noticed by Aimi, was misinterpreted by her as her face turned red, and faced the source of misunderstanding with teary yet glaring eyes filled with embarrassment.
"Papa, don't you need to introduce them to me?" Bronte looked down onto Cavaron. Cavaron turned his eyes towards the boy as his train of thought was broken, "Eh? Ah, okay." Cavaron approached Aimi, but Aimi retreated instead, making Cavaron raise a brow at her reaction. "Papa, why is she avoiding you?" Bronte asked, Cavaron replied with, "No idea." Each step he took to get closer, Aimi took a step to get farther. Only then did Cavaron notice Aimi's red face, 'Is there another misunderstanding? For the love of...'
Cavaron sighed, "Anyway, Bronte. That girl is Aimi. She's a newbie in the business, and the person responsible for dragging me back into Edeortha. That little girl on her shoulders is Aomi, she was an Azursa, you know, the things that looked like a cross of a blue bear and a blue raccoon. Next, you already know Akash so, that one over there who is wearing the same decorated armor is his sister, Ashe. As for everyone else, Sky Knights, and the coalition forces of the human and demon races here on the recently formed floating continent of Palu'Angit. Yes, Palu'Angit, the same Sky King I met a century ago." and introduced everybody around them to the boy, "Speaking of which, how's Ethra?"
---
Somewhere within Edeortha's Scar.
Deep within the barren landscapes of Edeortha's Scar which was formerly known as Central Edeortha before the century old calamity struck, a deep fifty-kilometer radius crater can be found. Its depth at the center reached nearly 200 meters, and 10 meters at the edge. At the very middle of this crater was a 15-meter wide chasm, and it was so deep that no light could reach the bottom.
Within the chasm stood a lone structure that was surrounded by people. Although the word 'people' was used, they weren't ordinary people if it wasn't for their chimerical appearances of human, angel, and demon. They were Azuals, and they surrounded the lone structure at the very center as they chanted an incomprehensible prayer with their arms held high. Suddenly, each time they uttered a certain word at certain intervals, black flames shot out from the structure enveloping the Azuals around it, the black flames of Dark Fate.
However, unlike what was believed to be the effects of being hit by Dark Fate flames, the Azuals did not disintegrate nor did they disappear. Instead, more Azuals of similar build and appearance appeared around them. Cloning, the flames were cloning the Azuals who were praying around the structure. The flames, aside from erasing, could create clones of beings it hit. Such a terrible flame could have this sort of mystery to it.
As more Azuals were created, the more they prayed. It repeated until the chasm was filled with their kind, and many of them left to give space for the others. Those who leave the chasm go off to who knows where, possibly to wreak havoc or something else entirely. Looking back from above the crater where the chasm was, millions of Azuals lived within. Yet, unlike the civilized territories of the human, angel, and demon races, the Azuals within the crater was more akin to an army. An army without thought nor free will as one may see upon the laboring Azuals mining, forging, and building weapons from their surroundings. Nearly a hundred kilometer wide crater filled to the brim with millions of mindless drones of Azuals.
"Ha ha ha ha..." A laugh was heard within the chasm, and the Azuals turned and flocked towards it. A black flame suddenly rose from within the chasm, and floated just above it. "Father! Father! Father!" The Azuals chanted as their eyes laid upon the black flame. Just as the flame stopped above the chasm, hordes upon hordes of newly cloned Azuals poured out of the chasm, and joined the others. After the last Azual has left the chasm, the black flame turned into a human, and the chanting of the Azuals became ever louder. "Greetings, my beloved children." The being borne by the flame was none other than a person of the past, Azrael, he smiled menacingly as he greeted the Azuals around him, "The time of reckoning is upon us. With these flames, we shall have the hammer of judgment fall upon our enemies!"
Ever louder, "Father! Father! Father!" the chanting Azuals became fiercer. Azrael laughed manically as he watched and listened to the Azuals. "Ha ha ha ha ha... Soon, Cavaron, I will consume you and your flames..."
