Yes, I'm tapped into corporate wifi. No idea how it reaches my place but it does.
So, have a chapter.
---------------------
A battlefield filled with corpses of humans, angels, and demons. Fires raging on all sides. Angels flinging holy spears and magic, demons summoning monsters and beasts, humans pouring over one army after another. Screams of pain and death. For honor. For glory. For victory. For a wartorn future with endless grief and suffering.
A three-way war with angelic beings obliterating both humans and demons, demons devouring angels and humans, humans suffering at both sides with nothing else but their stubborness to live. Lightning fell all over, flaming rocks flew everywhere. No one is spared. Men, women, children, nor the elderly. Indiscriminate carnage. Nobility, common folk, royalty, religious folk. None are spared in this war.
"You must fight!", a voice within the battlefield.
'Do you really have to fight?', a voice from years long past.
"Take up your sword! Slaughter our enemies!", another voice echoes in the battlefield.
'Is it really the only way?', another voice echoes from an age long forgotten.
"KILL THEM ALL!!! Pave the path to our peace!!!", someone cried blood.
'Can't you find another path?', a voice from buried memories.
"""FOR HONOR! FOR GLORY! FOR VICTORY!""", voices resound all over.
'What about your life?', a treasured memory.

Agrithos brought Cavaron to the far east end of Kintab's Recluse where the unearthed Felrok ruin was located. Dozens of guards carrying the emblem of the Federation, and both guilds were guarding the area to prevent any unauthorized person from entering the ruin, and to prevent any undead from leaving the ruin. The guards, upon seeing Agrithos, immediately saluted but raised their guards when they saw Cavaron.
"Be at ease." Agrithos told the guards. "This man will help us in dealing with the undead threat." Many of the guards were doubting Agrithos since it was their first time meeting Cavaron, but had to trust the Archaeologists' Guild Master since they, too, will accept any help to purge the ruin.
"Erasyl, this is the entrance to the ruin." Cavaron talked to his teacher regarding the need to hide his identity. The reason being, he did not want chaos to erupt further in the already peaceful Federation. And so, Agrithos now addresses his student as "Erasyl".
The ruin entrance was a decrepit temple. Decorating it were pillars of bones and skulls, and its lamps were made from skeletal hands. The relief on the door was a massive black and green skull with red fiery eyes, albeit faded through time. There were arcane glyphs on and around the entrance that were glowing with a soft blue light. Cavaron, attempting to read the glyphs, did not understand anything except the word "life" at the top of the entrance.

Agrithos, who noticed his student trying to read the glyphs, said "These glyphs are new, it's only natural that you can't read them. This is a barrier made from studying ancient Felrok magic that opposes the necromantic arts. I suppose that this should be credited to Wynn because of her dedication to her duty."
Cavaron, nodding to what his teacher said, replied "All the more a reason to save her.". Saying so, Agrithos asked his student, "Erasyl, how is your mana reserves? Do you think you have enough to fight against a small army?"
Cavaron thought for a while before answering his teacher, "... I'm not really sure. I just recently used > on another world but I'll try to find a rough estimate."
Closing his eyes, Cavaron focused within his body and his soul to measure the mana he currently holds. 'Huh? That's weird, I gained more than I lost? How did this happen? The Mana Pylon should not have given me THIS much mana...'. Questions popped up one after another in his mind when he noticed that he regained a large amount of mana even aftwr expending so much back in Ladenras.
'What's this? Did my capacity increase again? Does Tania's summoning have something to do with it?' Indeed, he never notices it, but whenever mana crystals are involved in a aummoning, these crystals fuse with his body giving an upgrade to his innate mana capacity. Opening his eyes, he stared at his teacher which made Agrithos ask, "Is there something wrong?"
"Teacher... I don't exactly know how it happened, but I have enough mana to sustain mana blades for three months but not enough to bring me to hub space." Cavaron replied to his teacher with a confused face.
"Do you remember anything when you got summoned here?" Agrithos asked another question thinking he might be able to figure it out.
"None that can count as abnormal, I did absorb some mana from the pylon but it shouldn't amount to this."
"What about the ritual Tania used?"
"The summoning ritual? Hm, not sure. I didn't really get a good look at how it was constructed, but it was a direct summoning since the target formation chased me back in the previous world, it did take a while for me to go through hub space so I can count that Tania didn't use sacrifices."
"If nothing else, the ritual she used is your only lead. Maybe if you decipher it, it may let you understand how you got stronger. Now then, onto the matter at hand. How will you approach this?"

Cavaron thought for a while then asked a question, "Teacher, their weakness should still be the same, right? They are still weak to Life Magic?" when he looked at the glyph atop the entrance after thinking.
Agrithos nodded, "Yes, they are. It's also one of the keywords in this barrier formation." and said when he saw his student looking at the Life Glyph.
"Well then, excuse me while I make a call to a friend." Cavaron went to an open space. The soldiers guarding the ruin were curious at what the guild master's visitor was doing and came to watch forgetting their duties. Agrithos just let it pass since he knows that what his student is about to do was a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Cavaron raised his hands and spoke to the heavens, "Warriors of ancient light, I convoke thee bearing the glory of life. Bless thy servant with thine everlasting protection." A pillar of light appeared and bathed Cavaron, and a 7-meter radius circle appeared below him. The onlookers were amazed at the divine sight before them as though a holy man descended. "Thou, whom thy servant made an eternal promise, deliver thy champion to aid thy servant. Let the > descend, >!!"
This time space did not shake and rip, but a magical formation appeared above them spanning over fifty meters. Even those who are far from them were able to see the descent of the >. The magical formation opened a gate in the sky, and a four-winged divine being came through. After the whole body came through, the gate closed and the Elemental spoke, "The >, Shamira, delivers the promise. Long time, no see, Cavaron." a beautiful voice left the angel's lips having everyone become mesmerized. Her voice even resounded throughout the entirety of the dig site which one can notice due to the lack of distant noise.
Indeed, this Elemental was an 8-foot female-like angel. Female-like since > take on the opposite form of their contractor's sex for some reason that she won't reveal to Cavaron even after being asked so, previously.
"D-d-did that angel just say Cavaron?" one of the soldiers trembled.
"By the gods, he really does come in our time of need." another soldier spoke.
Cavaron, hearing what they said, can only say, "Oops..." since he just blew his own cover. This time, Shamira flew down next to him and said, "Is something amiss? Art thou not happy to see this one?" Cavaron just looked at Shamira with blank eyes and laughed dryly, "Hahaha... it's... nothing, Shamira... Just... nothing... ha..."
Agrithos then took this chance to step in and calm everybody down. Infusing mana into his voice, "Everyone, calm down. I apologize for hiding the truth, but believe me when I say that it's better that none of these leave the area. I trust that you all can keep a secret?" His voice at the end became threateningly scary that a cold wind blew through the area. The onlooking soldiers nodded franticaly and left to resume their duties. As for the others who were far away, chills ran down their spines.
Shamira, thinking nothing of it, spoke "So, what dost thou need this one for?"
Cavaron just shook off his blunder and told Shamira, "We'll be cleaning out a ruin with undead. I trust that you're willing to do so?"
"Undead? Of course!" Shamira beautifully bowed, "This one shall assist thee in thine endeavor." and summoned her spear and shield. Shamira's spear was as long as her height and was made formed from light. Her shield was crystalline that an ordinary warrior would not think twice of equipping something else, but don't let its crystalline appearance fool you, her shield can deflect any attack that threatens her and her summoner.
Cavaron, taking a look at the entrance, looked back at Shamira and said, "Shamira, do you think you could shrink a bit? I don't think you'll fit in there."
Shamira looked at the door and nodded, "This one shall oblige." and shrunk by two feet smaller to have a height of six feet. Even her weapons decreased in proportion to her new size.
Thinking that they're all set, Cavaron faced Agrithos and said, "Alright, Teacher, we are good to go. Please open the entrance so we can get some cleaning done." Agrithos nodded and went to the side of the entrance to release the locks. A loud rumbling noise was heard after he waved his hand over a Lock Glyph, and the door soon opened. However, a surprise was awaiting them.
A small party of skeleton soldiers burst forth from the entrance.
Just as the guards scrambled for battle, Shamira let loose a flurry of light bolts to bombard the undead. "Well, didn't expect a welcoming party." Cavaron said jokingly. The guards around them remained at full alert if there will be another wave. "Come on, Shamira. Time for some spring cleaning." Cavaron said as he entered the ruins with his Elemental.

The Fall
Perhaps the most well known of all devils, demons, or fallen angels is the one known as Lucifer, Satan, the Father of Lies. The cultural influence of this figure throughout history is by no means small. Despite that, it wasn’t until the time of Milton’s classic – Paradise Lost – that we saw an attempt to portray a dramatized version of the events leading to this figure’s fall from grace and power. And while this is the case, Paradise Lost is not about Lucifer – though it goes into great detail about his potential musings. No, Paradise Lost was, and still is, about the fall of mankind. So, in light of this, and the feeling that the classical story deserved another telling, I present to you all The Fall – a story focused particularly on Lucifer’s fall from grace and his musings both before and after.

A D&D Gamer in Garweeze Wurld
He doesn't know how he got here, and while the trappings are familiar, he doesn't actually know where he is, either. From the perspective of those around him, Duromar is a half-ogre barbarian, an uncivilized brute by any standard you care to use. But from his perspective, he's a character created in a gaming system. From either one, he must live within the rules of that system. This is the story of a gamer who ends up in a game that's just a bit off from what he knows. ---- I wanted to write something a little bit old-school. Most of the LitRPG I've found seems to be based on computer RPG styled stories. Progression through levels is fast, and depending on the game, skills and even attributes can be trained with or without class levels. This wasn't true with the older pen and paper games, and that's the style of leveling I wanted to write.
