Chapter 8 – Short Conversation

‘There’s a magician in this village that’s cool, I could learn a thing or two from her, I do really want a magic spells that would be awesome.’ (Ryo)

Suddenly the door were kick open!

“Haah…. Haaah..” (???)

After kicking the door open, the young lady glanced around everywhere trying to find something or someone while breathing heavily, in which the target was Ryo.

“Reena!? What happen to you?” (lady at the counter)

Reena didn’t realize she had just been called by the lady at the counter, she just took a few big steps towards Ryo.

“What…..haah… What did hah….you do …haah…..just now at the gate!? ” (Reena)

“What did I do? ….. Er… anyway why don’t you sit first, your face …it’s as if you just seen a ghost” (Ryo)

“Of…of course!! You just disappear right in front of my view, how the hell am I not going to panic!?” (Reena)

“Hahahaha…. Don’t exaggerate too much….” (Ryo)

Reena was about to shout again but were knock on the head by Ryo, she squirm in pain and fall to the ground.

“Wha…Hey what did you just do to Reena!!” (Lady at the counter)

“So did you manage to calm down muscle head? …. Seriously someday you’re really going to wreak my life…” (Ryo)

After Ryo knock Reena on the head he sat back to his chair, meanwhile the rest of the people in the inn were shocked, not because of the fact that Ryo knew Reena but he had hit Reena on her head.

“Hey…hey before she rampage again I go first alright!”(???)

More and more people rush out from the Inn till there’s only four people left, the lady at the counter, the owner and both Ryo and Reena.

“Huh?? ….Why did everyone run out? Oi Reena are ….are you walking disaster?” (Ryo)

“Hahahahaha…..hah….hahahahahahaha …. You are … hahaha…almost correct! hahaha.” (Lady at the counter)

The lady laugh so hard that it attract the attention of Reena that was complaining about her head. In return Reena glared at the lady.

“Mou!! You guys are so bad!! I ….I just got drunk and hit people that’s all…” (Reena)

“Eh … you can drink?” (Ryo) ‘Wait this is not earth anymore, so there’s no rules that she couldn’t drink….’

“Hey I’m 15!! Don’t treat me like a kid you murderer!!” (Reena)

‘Ehhhhh so people can drink when their age is 15…. Other than that, this girl really called me a murderer right in front of the public’

You have just gain a title called “Murderer”

“Oi …. Are you serious..?? What does this do… huh what?” (Ryo)

Ryo was about to tap on the title that he just got when he got knock on his head, when he looked up, he saw Reena that was glaring down upon him.

“You…. Didn’t you even listen to what I say just now!?” (Reena)

“hohoho …. Such a good relationship you have there, by the way, here you go your food” (Lady at the counter)

“Ehh? Where’s mine!?” (Reena) She look towards Ryo while saying that.

“Why should I? You’re not my girlfriend or anything?” (Ryo)

“Eh? … Er……..Can’t you just help me out and I would have paid you back anyway!? …Errr Melinda my usual” (Reena)

Reena were blushing when she tried to reply Ryo back, hearing the word girlfriend made her remembered about the scene whereby Ryo had called her beautiful.

“Sure sure, do take care of your boyfriend there alright Reena…hahahahah…” (Melinda- Lady at the counter)

“……………………………” (Reena)

Reena slowly sat down on one of the empty chair near Ryo, she didn’t know what’s happening with her, she could even hear her own heartbeat and she was feeling hot. On the other hand, seeing Reena being too innocent, he decided to tease her.

“Can’t help it eh, hey you go, open wide… Ahhhhhh” (Ryo)

Ryo attempted to feed Reena with his spoon

“Woa….wha….What are you doing!!” (Reena) she was shouting at the top of her lungs. Her face become totally red trying to avoid the spoon that Ryo was trying to feed her with.

“Hahahaha….. Sorry I couldn’t help myself, I’ve always want to do that before I died…. Arh… Hahahaha…haha…” (Ryo)

Ryo accidentally misspoke the word death and tried to cover it up with a dry laughter but Reena unfortunately heard it and quickly glance at Ryo.

“Eh… er … Oh yeah what did you want to talk about just now?” (Ryo)

Ryo quickly tried to change the topic as he didn’t want to talk about it, fortunately Reena understood and follow up with the conversation. Ryo didn’t exactly tell her the truth about his skill, he just told Reena that he could blend in with the surrounding. Naturally being a muscle-brain Reena just believe what Ryo had said. After a few minutes Melinda came to them with Reena favourite food, Seafood noodle.

“That… looks delicious…” (Ryo)

“Hehehe you will be surprise all of these fishes in the inn is the one that I’ve caught!” (Reena)

“….Eh…..EEHH!??” (Ryo)

“Wha…what? Is it that impressive?” (Reena)

“No…..No.. I just can’t believe you got the patience to wait for the fish and hook it out … wow I need to stop judging people” (Ryo)

“Huh!? ….Er….. Errr…” (Reena)

“Fufufufufu…. Don’t worry Reena do caught it alright, it’s just that she uses a net not a fishing hook…” (Melinda)

“H…hey!!! Don’t tell that to him!!” (Reena)

“……………………………………..” (Ryo) Ryo just kept quiet and continue eating his food

“Hey.!!.. R…Ryo! Come on say something!!” (Reena)

Ryo really wanted to tease Reena more but he remembered someone said something about the guild.

“Oh yeah, where’s the guild by the way?” (Ryo)

“Eh…. Ah it’s just west from here… I could show you the way if you want?” (Reena)

“Sure! That would definitely help a lot” (Ryo)

After Ryo shown a smile towards Reena, she quickly bend her head down while muttering ‘sure’. Both of them continued eating and spent time talking and teasing, even after 10 minutes of waiting, nobody come in the Inn, Melinda got bored and decided to hang out with them. They wasted two to three hours having a conversation. It was the best moment of Ryo life as he had spent previously in the forest previously, this conversation had brought him back and realize how fun it is to talk with someone.

Opening the Inn door Ryo told Melinda that they will be back

“Let’s go!” (Ryo)

“Yeah!” (Reena)
