I got up and got ready to to go out i was as quite as i could be and took albi with me she still was sleeping one of

the thinks i know is that she never was good with sleep so she didnt care much when i moved moved her around when she slept.

I was ready and got to the door until.

-Damon dont be late today come at 7 or 6 a representive of the academy you will attend will come to

test you so dont be late okey.

I baffled that she could tell that i was about to leave was it intuition ? no i didnt see such a skill

in her list well i dont really care but the academy representive ? a test huuh.

As i said that i left the house drew was standing in front of the entrance ready to go out i asked her.

Seeing her like that is still very irritating for myself but i cant blame her she saw me slaughter people

so she must be cautions about me some way or another but still i want her to relax somehow.

I needed to get her to talk more often to get close so she could relax.

-I ehm.. t..the village was at first not that good but working there got me a little closer i thing some people

are still hostile to me but i dont blame them of course and what i did was pretty much follow you around speak with ms.white

From what i got was that some of the people her dont trust her its no wonder but its not like she is being

ignored or violated they know that the princess agreed on her staying with me so they wouldnt

try anything funny i am glad that some people do help her though seeing her i wondered how old she was

Suzurian huh the biography of this world is different with each continent that is split in all of the six races

Only Beasts,Elves,Humans,Dwarves use names for their land and Demons and Orcs use clan names and those are

more complex because there are over 30000 clans in each of those races.

Looking at drew i didnt think she was that young 16 she is 9 years older then me huh

-this is a numerus it will count the amount of books you read and count them right now there isnt a number

but if you put your blood in the triangle it will show you the number of books you have read

the reason for this is a competition in which people read books and the highest gets a prize the prize

will be determined in the amount of books you have read the prizes will be choosen by the winner

all guilds are the prize givers so if yo win you can choose the prize from that guild.

It was a long explanation so i just bit my thump and put blood into the cart

The result was that the cart started to make weird shapes in it and then it stopped

I was thinking how i got into such a ridiculous number looking back where i read books at home i didnt

remember how many i have read so far so i wanted to know how this worked but i didnt want to

waste time on it and just continued my way and asked drew

-by the way how do you use magic ?

I already knew how to but i never really made practice for it and continued reading because my priority was

information about this world not magic i knew the concept of magic up to master level it is like math and with my memo

skill i have it all in my head like a bullet in a cartridge.

-magic you concentrate your mana and chant the words for the spell it depends on how strong the spell

is you can say the words or say them in your mind to cast them a lot of people say them to make it easier

to use the spell.

the concept n chanting was like a shortcut for the spell i read that all spells were made from runes then words

compined runes and techniques made the spell like putting your hand up and putting mana into it

people can chant to activate the spell for more speed casting mind chanting is harder and mages use it rarely

when they have more time or are in a tight spot for a suprise attack.

-oh is that so can you show later how you use a spell ?

Drew seemed to relax more so our talk did to seem pay off at least so i proceeded on reading different

kind of spells more like debuffs and buffs the spell them selfs werent there that was predictable

but i still got some concepts on them to basic through master level i thought

why dont they have the actual spells then concepts on how they work and how they are used that sounds

really dumb if you ask me

I read some more magic books about runes,seals and spirits there were the so called elementalists that used

contracts with other spirits to use them to fight it was really interesting i searched more about weapons and etiquette

in this world i couldnt find anything close to a gun or a cannon so i gave up and looked at the clock 7:40

etiquette in this world is normal if i may say so there were some pretty messed up lines in some books that

i have to look better into but i can trust it so far the reason i am studying etiquette is because of the academy

i will need hell good of manners if i want to be accepted by the others.

Seeing the clock i called drew she was reading a story book when i called out to her she jumped from her chair

she got really into i guess drew got red when she saw me and followed me i told her she can take the book with her

if she wanted to she refused thou.

Drew and i made our way to the exit and on the way i saw a board with peoples names on it and next to it a number

the highest was 3275 there were 10 names i guessed that this is the top 10 people in this event so just laughed a little

and got out

On our way i asked drew if she wanted to eat something she said that i dont have to buy her anything but i refused and bought some fruits and fish for albi she was sleeping this whole time until we came to he market she jumped from my head

and stood in front of a fish stall that was the signal for something albi wanted so i just bought it.

Drew had question marks above her head on why i bought so much fish but she didnt ask so didnt answer her either

later on we were going to the battle school i wasnt here over the past week and catherine said she would pick

me up but i was already here i hope she isnt at my house right now

With those thoughts i entered the battle school i looked around nothing really changed well it was just a week

I looked around hoping to find a familiar face and there she was catherine she was hitting a scarecrow

i approached to greet her and she turned her head seeing me she cheered up and ran at me with full speed

drew got panicked by that and took her distance from me in the other hand albi was still sitting on my head

she was calm as ever and wanted to see the show in my view of perspective i guess.

Catherine closed in and threw her fist at my torso i deflected the fist grabbing her at her waist and throwing her

away from me she landed next to the wooden swords and picked one up she threw 2 swords to me i catched at the

moment when she threw the swords she already closed the distance between us and used a stabbing move with

her sword i jumped avoiding the stab and landing backwards 2 meter away from her she ones again charged at me

with her sword ready for a slash i used her speed against her by side stepping and moving on her back where i skillfully

hit her wrist making her sword drop and my sword resting on her chin.

-I surrender

-you have to watch your opponent more your moves are okey but dont just go without a plan you will get

vaporized if you do

Everyone who saw the show were jaw dropping even drew and the instructor they had and complex expression on

-i want you to teach me how to use the sword and martial arts as well !

yeah that was the deal i made with her she wants me to teach her how to fight i would do that but before that

-I have to say one thing first after 2 months i will be going to a academy to learn more about magic

so will teach you only 2 months

catherine couldnt argue with that she herself knew pretty well that she wasnt the brightest light in the world

like her sister so she couldnt blame him for that.so she thought for a second and as if a light bulb shined

I was thinking and came to the realization that i didnt know the name of the academy mother may have forgot to tell

me or i just forgot i ask her later for that but wait the representive will come today well i find a way somehow

Catherine had that smug grin as if ridiculing me i just shugged and started teaching her hand to hand combat

We trained for 6 hours i wasnt aware of the time what i teached her was shaoling Kung Fu i learned it

when i was in tour in china there are in total of 5 styles in that martial art i showed her the basics of all 5

the crane,tiger,leopard,snake and dragon i told her that she has to practice perception and speed if she wants

to fight better at first she was confused on how my strange moves are even considered as

martial arts she laughed at it and said that she wants to learn something else i told her that i will use those

moves only and have a duel she agreed on the spot and utterly defeated.

lars came closer to look at cathrines training kung fu is considered as a martial art that needs expert timing

an precision and dedication 3 thinks that catherine utterly sucks in so in other words too

perfect for her after 6 hours of non stop training catherine passed out seeing that i carried her

Lars told me that she lives next to the elder chiefs house so i carried her there and when i arrived i found sophia

she was sitting on a table looking at a board that looked like chess and when she noticed me she said

It was really peaceful on our way home i thought of everything that had happened and so on
