We were heading to the smelting area they had a huge furnace for smelting and a lot of tools for different kind of purposes

without question we entered the room and Luke started explaining.

-Now then it is decided that you two are going to compete against each other so i me as the judge in this

competition will tell you what weapon you shall create it will be a simple 2 edged sword with a normal

one sided handle the material to create the weapon and the tools you can make it of is in this room

i will judge by look,durability,strenght and flexibility and if you get bonus propertys on the sword i will count it

as bonus points any questions ?

I was thinking and just nodded to the description of the sword and so Luke said

-Good you have 8 Hours time and now Begin !

At that both me and Lucy moved to the metal ingots on the table I didnt know what the ores were or

what they did i hoped to get the identify skill before coming here but this opportunity was perfect

so i couldnt leave anyways i because i didnt know what ore was what i started tasting it at that Lucy got a

confused expression Luke on the other hand wasnt surprised it seemed like he expected something like this.

The reason i was tasting the ore was because i didnt know what it was but if i would taste it i could determine

what kind of ore it was and after the 7 bite i found iron ore well the taste at least so i choose it and made my way to the

furnace and started smelting it in the mean time Lucy choose her ore she choose 2 types one grey one white like and also started

smelting she probably wants to make a different type of ore.

The smelting was surprisingly fast it took only 1 hour to smelt and i made my casting ready and poured the hot iron

onto it making something like a long iron rod and waited until it cooled down enough.

In the mean time i looked over Lucy she seemed to be really focused and poured the hot ore onto the casting she

looked like she was possessed by something.

After some tiny adjustments to the rod i came to the anvil and started hitting it Lucy on the other hand still fidget

around her piece and sometimes looked to my side with a confused expression Luke also made a complex

face he didnt seem like he knows what i am doing well i came from a different world and have a lot of experience

and different techniques so it isnt that weird.

After sometime i finished my blade and the handle i burned the blade another time at that Luke seemed to want to

say something but stopped himself until now Lucy also made that strange face is it really that weird i was thinking.

And again i hammered the blade making it a little longer this time and now it had the size of a normal sword

and then i started sharping it and put the handle on i customized the handle a little and made the blade balanced in

all edges and was finished.

On the other hand Lucy was still hitting her rod it took her 4 more hours to finish what i figured is that all of

the tools and equipment had some kind of magic on them that made smithing easier i would normally take me a day or two

to make a sword but here the process just was too fast i am happy about it.

Lucy finished her sword it was a grey colored sword with a weird shaped blade well that was my opinion in comparison

to me sword it looked better mine looked like pure silver with a straight blade then hers and so Luke came and said.

-Well done both of you you made the best you could but now is time for me to judge

-father look at mine first !

Lucy said quick and loud it was like she shouted and for some reason she looked really nervous maybe because i

showed her that i can smith she thought that i might win but either way i dont care and just nodded to her statement

Lucy gave the sword to Luke while holding it he said "Identifiy"

Identification a skill or more like a all purpose spell essential to every kind of crafter in books it said that the

skill when used links with your bracelet and shows you the description but how it really works i have

no idea it was written that you needed someone to teach you for it to use.

I thought when i looked closer i saw that the description said Artifact as in Rarity In my knowledge the rarity was

Common>Normal>Magical>Unique>Artifact>Legendary

It was just under Legendary and then my thought process sped up

What will happen if i really try hard on my next weapon will i get a Legendary Item or !?

My thoughts were in myself and no one could reach me Lucy was shouting at me how i did it and accused me in

cheating but because she saw me smith it wasnt possible in the other hand Luke spoke up

Lucy got quite and Luke spoke

-Damon i have a question did you ever blacksmith even ones ?

While thinking about it i was pierced by Lucys stare and said

I answered it wasnt a lie in this life it really was my first time if he asked if i was a blacksmith in my previous life

Lucy and Luke just started at me but i could hear Lucy mutter

-No way even thought i tried so hard why ?

After those words they were quite so Luke probably didnt hear them but then i could see tears in her eyes falling down

I approached her.

-DONT TOUCH ME !

Luke seemed to want to say something but was cut off

Because lucy started running out of the smithy i wanted

to chase after her but was stopped by Luke

-Wait damon i probably wont need to tell you that you

passed but...

-Does that matter she just ran crying

Luke seemed to have a confused face but then his face turned Like he was relieved of something

-Hmm yes you should probably chase after her

Luke threw my sword to me in which i nodded and

ran after her i could hear Luke saying some words

-If its you i will entrust you my precious

And so i ran after lucy because of perception it wasnt hard

she was east from here and so i began to run.
